I am a dollar tree candle stick junkie also. I will stick a candle stick on just about anything. I also collect antique brass ones from the Goodwill also. I am so glad that I found your channel.
Omg I'm in awe right now. I have been trying to figure out a way to have awesome wedding centerpieces without going overbudget, and the Lord has answered my prayers through your videos. Thank you so very much for sharing.
You are brilliant beyond brilliant... because of you, I can now unpack all my glass bowls and candlestick holders that I was actually going to biff... my oh my my daughter is gonna love the centrepieces that Im going to create... thank you so much, I would never have thought of this idea :)
I have been trying to figure out how can I make cheap centerpieces for my wedding...thank you for showing us this creation...I absolutely love it and will be making these for my centerpieces using carnation spheres
you really have such a great attitude and way of talking to us saying let's share our ideas cause that is how we grow and learn! Congratulations on your décor designer job , hope you get many clients!
After finding your video yesterday I went and bought the stuff to make a vase. While I was at the store I put the two candlesticks together and held with one hand and put the bowl on top to see how tall they would be. I will be using these for my wedding centerpiece vases. With flowers in the vase it would be too tall for my intended purpose so I just took a candlestick away and only used one candle stick. I will have 21 tables and I will use the 2 candlestick vase for the memory table so 22 vases total. Thanks so much for sharing you have saved me a ton of money.
I used this for my wedding and I added an plate as a base for stability. I even bought Christmas icicle ornaments as dangling accents. I usedbfour to three to four floral bouquets and it looked amazing!
Wow,very nice!!! I like these vases, $3 to $5 dollars, I'm digging these they are definitely better than some $16.00 centerpieces (just the vases no flowers included)..... My fiancé need to see this. Thanks sister keep doing your thing!
I agree that not all Dollar Trees are created equal. Try going on their website. You might get lucky there, but this video was done years ago, so they may not make them anymore. Sorry.
Hi, your project is perfect, but I have a question, whre you bought the bowl, because I have searched for a lot Dollar Trees, Family Dollars and didn't find nothing similar and cheap as you say. I leave in Atlanta.
I have been looking for this bowl everywhere as well and can't find it at any dollar tree. Is there another store you recommend that's super cheap? I'm trying to do this project for my wedding centerpieces. Thank you!
+adream barber So I decided to go to dollar tree and bought a plastic bowl, it looks super cute as well but now Im wondering if the bowl itself is a little high to put the flowers. Do you think thats something I should be worried about?
+Daisy Revuelta sorry i am just seeing this. shouldn't be a problem with flowers but depending where you place them in the table, make sure people can see over it or under it. Did you have the wedding already? if so how did it work out?
HI Joe, Depends on how fast I need to make them...lol. Sometimes I just use a hot glue gun because it sets fast. For long term use a permanent bond glue like super glue, but make sure it dries clear.
+Emy Odom I live in Sunrise Florida but why don't you just order them online. It's at dollartree.com. The bowls are called glass cut and the candle holders are both on their site. I just looked
+Emy Odom The Cut-Glass Candy Bowls, 7" SKU#:24609Product look almost the same. That's what I would use if i couldn't get them. Because you only slightly see the bottom of the bowl once assembled. Did you see the candle holders they are on the site also.
I just give a comment on another video similar to this one,, dont use glue gun for this ones particular work, the hoy glue wont work with water, if you intestion is to use it with water, I recommend to use clear gorila glue let it dry over night and you stand would give a chance to use it with water....

can you use more then 2 to make it taller?
What are the candle stick and bowl sizes?
What size is the bowl in the 2nd vase.
HI Quintece. In the video you mentioned that a more permanent glue than hot glue should be used, which glue do you recommend?
Thanks,
J
I see you replied to someone below. :).
Thank you again.
Jennifer Addo how tall can i make this
What kind of glue do you use when making these vases? TIA
HI Joe, Depends on how fast I need to make them...lol. Sometimes I just use a hot glue gun because it sets fast. For long term use a permanent bond glue like super glue, but make sure it dries clear.
+quintece hill Is it okay to use the hot glue gun method for the centerpiece arrangements? Will it last thru the night?
Christie Gurganus use something more permanent E6000
quintece hill Thank you Quin. P.s. By the looks of some of your videos I would have never guessed that you were not a professional florist :) 🌹🌷

Has anyone found these bowls from the Dollar Tree? I've searched everywhere, they don't even have the round candlesticks anymore
+Emy Odom I found everything in the dollar tree in Florida
+Barbara Brown where in FL?
+Emy Odom I live in Sunrise Florida but why don't you just order them online. It's at dollartree.com. The bowls are called glass cut and the candle holders are both on their site. I just looked
+Barbara Brown I've found other bowls like then but not the exact one. It's not in stock

It's called Loctite glass glue...
