In a sentence: Girl you made my day. I'm over here sweating the floral budget and this has max impact for minimum budget. Excellent, enjoyable tutorial.
I'm not getting married thank God 21 years strong but just to make our little home beautiful I love your idea and I actually have the supplies except my bowl is plastic but I figured what the hell! Thanks again for your straight forwardness! Love that you are honest about the facts!
Thank you so much I've been wrecking my brains for centerpieces for my September wedding reception and now I can use your idea on a very tight budget, and with your blessing create something elegant and befitting for my family to lavish over thank you once again.
I'm doing this for my wedding with different colors. Blue and purple. You are a life saver! I've seen other videos and none of them are very budget friendly and use so many hydrangeas. Thank you!!!!
Thank you, this totally awesome... So many different ways to do this, love your ideas and you're willingness to share in this format...what a blessing!!!! Used for our parents 50th wedding anniversary.. Lots of compliments
I love how you did this beautiful vase with just 3 dollar.I love it that am using your idea for my wedding next year on may 2015.am in a budget an wanted to used fake flowers.
Just watched your demonstration. I loved it! You are right a centerpiece just like yours would cost a hundred dollars in one went to a florist. It was easy to watch and easy to duplicate. Thank you so much.
You have gave me so many ideas for my own wedding. Thank you so much. You do explain it in easy to follow terms. I will be checking out your other videos.
I'm a DIY wedding planner, and this arrangement will be perfect for a shabby chic barn wedding I'm doing in October. Thank you so much for the fantastic video!
This is awesome. I also enjoy doing DIY's and I have to give you credit. You did this damn centerpiece on a reasonable person budget. I look forward to watching more of your inspiration because we all can learn from each other.
I love this! I created it and spray painted the candle holders and bowl with metallic silver spray paint! I love the finished product! You are creative, and I love that you provide inexpensive ideas. Thank you!
VERY pretty. I made the vase. I was lucky and spent $1.25 on all three pieces at a thrift store. The sticks and the rhinestones I'm going to try this weekend. Thank you. Awesone video.
Good idea with the bowl and candlesticks, love it and your design idea. I also like that you mentioned the angled cut on the stem, which exposes more surface for water absorption. I have a couple of suggestions - secure the foam to the bowl using clear waterproof tape so it won't slip around or even slip out of the container during transfer or get knocked out by an unruly child. Another florist trick for hiding your foam is to spray with silver paint a plastic container that fits into the bowl, then put your foam in the silver. The plastic container can be anything that fits in that bowl, and the silver surface just seems to disappear in the glass.
New subbie. This is such a lovely video. The hydrangea is my favorite flower. I will definitely have to give this arrangement a try it is sooo beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful results. I'm sure I'd need some experience on placement. Liked Pamela B's suggestion to spray a plastic container silver or such and use in place of fabric lining. Securing with the waterproof tape makes sense. Loved the straightforward instructions and the price : D Many thanks!
This will tie in very nicely with mismatched china cupcake stands :) One cute tip I love is to spray paint dried baby's breath in metallic colors like gold or silver. That makes an arrangement gorgeous
This is an awesome tutorial! We are preparing for our daughter's wedding next year and are doing the decorations ourselves. This is very helpful. Thank you so much.
This is absolutely gorgeous and if you were looking so save a bit more money if you were doing a lot of centerpieces, you could use faux flowers as well.
I loveeee This!! I will absolutely be doing this for my wedding. I was worried about DIY centerpieces but now I think I will do it. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
quintece hill Actually it was several success stories, thanks again for sharing :) The vase of tulips also looks lovely on our hutch and little candlestick flower vases are perking up our home. Happy Easter!
Hydrangeas should be soaked upside down in water before using. And if you just take some clear cellophane wrap & crinkle it up in the vase, it will hide the oasis . Silver Mylar works well, too. Use cut up old Mylar balloons. Hope this helps. Love your videos. :)
Stumbled across your video while looking for centerpiece ideas for my daughter-in-law's shower. Enjoyed your handi work and think this a beautiful arrangement. Great job!! I look forward to following you as a a new subscriber.
Absolutely fabulous, both the vase and the arrangement. Will be perfect for my son and new daughter-in-law's post destination wedding reception, that we are throwing in their honor. Thank you for such a great, money saving dyi idea. This will help leave a great deal of money that can be moved into other areas of the budget, if needed. God bless!! 💜

So beautiful & so economical. The vase idea is genius. So glad I found you. I do a pretty big formal Christmas party every year & I will definitely be borrowing a few of your ideas
I did soak them and just wondering if I maybe got old flowers. I learned as well the boiling hot water trick which did work. Made them come back somewhat but not as full as when I got them. Also read to pound bottom of stem with hammer or cut a slice up the bottom of stem so they can absorb water better. Just makes them a but harder to put in arrangment. I just love the look with them makes such a pretty centerpiece!! Its just I was ordering maybe a couple hundred of them. Alot of last minute work!! Thanks for responding! Enjoy your videos!!
