Perty has actually become one of my favourite characters in all 40k. Probably the most capable primarch

My personal theory is that Perturabo went the Corvus route and managed to trick the Chaos gods into stealing some of their warp power to ascend into becoming the literal Machine God.
It would be one hell of a twist if Vashtorr was a creation of Perterabo

Perturabo should have remained loyalist, he and the Lion fit that special niche where they would just be the best of friends. The Lion and Perturabo, Fulgrim and Ferrus Manus. Iron Warrior would be the shield the enemy slams against, and the Dark Angels would be the blades in their back, a anvil and hammer to grind down the enemies of man!
Perturabo always has and always wil despite what he may say Pert will always love his sister who truly loves and cares for him and he still is trying to bring her back to him .
Major Kill isn't wrong. He was the most competent Traitor Primarch, was able to keep his degenerate brothers in line, and would have won the Siege of Terra if he stuck around. Irony within, Irony without. 😆

Loved reading Mortis and getting to the part when, at the height of the siege, Perty finally has enough and just calmy says, "Fuck this, I'm out." He's not raging, ranting or anything.
It is the quiet resignation of a man who is 200% done with being used by everyone he serves.
Perturabo is one of the few traitor Primarch's who may or may not get redeemed, what do you guys think?
Perturabo deserves redemption, and maybe Fulgrim. Perturabo becoming best of friends with the Lion, and Fulgrim reincarnated in his Clone slaying his Daemon invested Prince body, are two of my fave headcanons.
I hope he at least isn't a daemon prince, and gets to air his grievances to the Big-E and find out that Big-E doesn't really give a fuck about homeworld genocide.
@@NoSoulJoel177 A great tragedy of Perturabo is that even from their first meeting he was fanatically loyal to the Emperor, and the Emperor saw something in Perturabo that made him sad. He knew that Perturabo would have to do all the hard work, be his Lord of Iron, and he wrote that off as a sacrifice. Emps was on the clock, and he knew Chaos would lash out somehow.

Perturabo was definitely one of my favorite brothers, which is why I gave him the siege weapons. Although I treated him like garbage I did get along with him mostly due to the fact that he was competent.

Perturabo and the Iron Warriors are personally in my favorite traitors to the point that I actually have a Homebrew chapter that was made up by surviving loyal iron warriors from the Heresy
I think it would be kinda cool if Perturabo wasn't a daemon primarch but went the biotransference route like the necrons but without C'tan.
No soul but intellect and personality sustained in mechanical form.
I personally go the daemon engine route, but instead of the unstable warp stuff of a daemon it’s Perturabo’s soul guiding the machine. Irons warriors also like daemon engines so the aesthetic would match.

For me he's not only the best but also most reliatable Primarch. Come one, most of us are Perturabo's in our workplaces, relationships and other daily things.

I'd be all for a well written series of novels about Perturabo deciding to screw over the loyalists and traitors as thoroughly as possible before he dies of his soul wound.

Perturabo I think didn't want to become a Daemon Prince but I think it's missed by a lot of fans that the Chaos Gods can just ascend you against your will and have done so several times, the most notable being Lorgar forcefully ascending Angron on Nuceria. He may have just sacrificed the gene seed for a different result and the gods took advantage of the ritual. It'd make him more tragic if that was the case as he never wanted to join Chaos, he was forced to.
Honestly if he becomes a Daemon Primarch, I figure he would go the Be'lakor route. Be'lakor was a human turned into a Greater Daemon by all 4 Gods of Chaos, equal parts all of them. This is of course something they do not do often as the 4 never agree on nearly anything. However because Be'lakor was equal parts of all 4 Gods, no one god could ever control him.
if the traitor primarchs were reversed ,Perturabo is the reason why the alternate traitors would just get stomped imo , that and Magnus and thousand sons being able to do their work along with other legions and red boy being able take HIS place powering golden throne thus freeing up emps. Yeah the alternate traitors would have girlyman, Dorn, Russ and Sanguinius but at the same time i think Dorn and angel boi are the ones the emps could probably bring back from chaos the most barring some extreme lore shit, unlike the real traitors
Not to mention Girlyman would never talk to chaos, it’s literally the antithesis of his philosophy, the only one who could realistically fall is Sanguinius, the guy was about to fall to Slaneesh in that demon world until one of his son knocked some sense into him
@@Goblinhandler I mean, switching the traitors and loyalists implies at least some background divergence to begin with. Konrad Curze was never going to be loyal as he was. Angron was doomed the moment they stuck those fucking nails in his brain. Etc. If you're trying to switch around the heresy you gotta do what the Roboutian Heresy does and introduce changes.

Nah, he got banned for citing FBI Statistics. Angron got banned for slurs, but only after he kept on using them well after he was informed "You're not in the Gladiatorial Pits anymore, you can't call people that here." Though in fairness, Corvus IS a (censored) (censored), little (censored) with really bad (censored) and his (censored) wasn't even as big as a NORMAL human (censored), so all that sneaking around and "I am the night!" was massive (censored) overcompensation - but then adding "Or Conrad. Whatever, they're the same person." is what crossed the line and got him banned.
Perturabo loved/appreciated Magnus tho
I've never really understood why perty got so overlooked by everyone else. sure he was a dick, but is that really all it takes for everyone to disregard all the shit he undeniably got done?

And i know for a fact that both Dorn and Guilliman did indeed value PErtuabo, though Perty was wallowing in self pity too much to see it.
No they didn't. Dorn literally said "Perturabo throws men at walls." And Guilliman lost his crap when Perturabo decimated his legion because some of the IVth Legion killed were Astartes he served with. Dorn also laughed at a painting done by a remembrancer where the Fists got the privilege to capture the final citadel of the world and they're seen celebrating the victory and a bunch of Iron Warriors corpses', who had been laying siege to the planet from the beginning, were everywhere.
All jokes aside it basically boils down to him having a Martyr Complex. He does what people tell him even if he doesn’t want to and then sulks on it and tells himself essentially “I can have fun when I don’t have work to do” but naturally that will never come. Guilliman even catches him in a particularly bitter mood and basically tells him “you don’t have to work all the time. You can take a break and build the stuff you want. Everyone else takes a break for a few years” but that reality check is soundly ignored.

If im being honest, i dont want a Iron Warrior redemption, i want the Iron Warriors under the leadership of Perturabo in the ultimate combination of throne tech and dreadnaught to leave the Eye of Terra, go to a system and claim it as Iron Empire, Building up the Iron Empire as Perturabo dreamed. Maybe selling Iron Warrior tech to the highest bidder

So, did anyone else notice the bug on his wall that shows up at about 14:22 and slowly crawls right until it disappears behind his hat, and then reappears crawling upward until it leaves the screen at 16:50?
I always thought Perturabo could have been closer to Fulgrim, or Ferrus Manus... especially since Perturabo got no joy out of building, I always felt that maybe Fulgrim and Ferrus could have connected with each other on that. The idea of building something that perserves, not destroys, shared ideals about a "perfect imperium," honest feelings about their legion.
Perturabo's men were dying like flies, Fulgrims men grew so competitive of each other they would tell on each other, Ferrus Manus grew resentful of how his legion adored his necrodermis arms. There's a lot there to consider, which makes it more tragic they never really connected. It's weird too that many of his brothers shunned him for his methods, but at the same time Fulgrim can do things like proclaim the Laer will be dead in a month and lose an ENORMOUS amount of his legion and wound over half of it.
Fulgrim and Ferrus strove to be the best, which is where Perturabo would have been a perfect reality check - he always knew how, when and where things were constructed or built. He would have enlightened Fulgrim to the idea that the journey to perfection is more profound than reaching the destination, because of that feeling of accomplishment. Maybe then Fulgrim would have thought more carefully about taking whatever items he felt worthy of, for the sake of becoming perfect.
That also would have made Perturabo's story a bit more heartfelt, because then when Fulgrim betrays him in the Heresy, Perturabo would realize all the people in the Imperium that cared for him are now traitors, rejects, heretics. He'd have even stronger feelings about being Anti-Chaos, but also realize that nothing was left for him in the Imperium and doesn't want to go back to being a tool.
Perturabo is gonna turn himself into a Machine Spirit at this point, and I would love to see that.
Little known fact about _Perturabo_ was that before getting Angron, Nurgle approached _Pt_ to recruit him [novel: "Slaves to Darkness"]
Which got me thinking recently; on _Pt's_ return, will it somehow involve *Isha?* I am patiently waiting for _Pt's_ return as a 'human' but if we're keeping with the Greek tragedy, then it would be miserable...or a story where _Pt_ either cucks *Nurgle* or mechanize *Isha*

In Hammer of Olympia its basically screamed at the reader. Basically Perturabo's first major question of Damicos is "will I be used for peace?"
When he visits Perturabo's tower the place is filled with designs and blueprints for farming equipment, perfectly laid out cities, better sewers etc.
