I love my 19X to the fact that I am buying another one. I use to stray away from Glocks because everyone was on their bandwagon. Then one day I shot my friend’s 19 and that changed it for me. My EDC is the 48 with a red dot and the 19X. I have own the 26 and the 43. When it comes down to it at the end of the day I want something that is reliable and proven and that’s Glock. Don’t need my guns to be in a beauty pageant.
I don’t know what state you’re in but our 2nd Amendment is under attack and we need everyone to write their senators and congressmen/congresswomen and ask them to vote against any further gun control legislation!
I just bought it 2 days ago it's my first gun well pistol. I literally held every 9mm in that store originally was going to get the shield plus or the sig p365xl but those guns are so damn tiny in person didn't feel right in the hand the 19x on the other hand feels great comes with night sites has great capacity and is not a big gun will be easy to carry. Plus it's a beauty

I bought a G45MOS in Nov 2020. It's pretty accurate for me. I bought the 19x about 2 or 3 months ago, and for whatever reason, I shoot it even more accurately. This has been on more than two occasions at the range. One of my buddies has witnessed the same thing with his. Man, go buy the damn thang!
Love my G19X. She hits right where I'm aiming at 25y. Stock night sights but I polished everything to do with the trigger & installed the Black Yikes 3lb Connector & oh what a change it made for the better! Shoot em up! They all great handguns..
I polished the internals on my Gen 5 Glock 19. Haven’t took it to the range yet but I can’t wait to do so. I’ve just been dry firing and it feels like night and day from when it wasn’t polished.
I have the 19X and looking back now would probably have opted for the G45 MOS because of the red dot capability. I love red dots once I got the hang of them. Matter of fact I'm about to send my 19X to Frank Castle Customs and have it pimped out which will include getting it milled for a Holosun HS507C. Having said that, another solution is to get both the 19X and 45 MOS! I kinda like that actually.
It's funny that you said that, you try to veer away from Glock, I started buying budget firearms about two years ago and I thought the same thing, until I test-fired a Glock 19x and I knew she was the one for me, I'm a research kind of guy and it kept coming back Glock! to the point where it was calling me, and calling me like Pookie on "New Jack City" , so I got rid of four of my pistols and replace them with Glocks!!!
I have had my 19x for a little over a year now. I've put several thousand rounds through it and I love it. I have a gen 4 19 mos and he's absolutely right..the trigger on the 19x is noticeably better. I will definitely be getting the 45 mos at some point. I used to like the finger grooves on the 19 until I held and shot the 19x. It is very accurate and eats everything you feed it. The inside under the slide and near fcg has turned blue. Not that big of a deal to me. It's accurate and reliable and I love the fde color.
@@bmhgdretv3229 if you're asking if the 19x feels better, then yes, remarkably so. I do not have much experience with the gen 3 so I don't want to give false info on that. I used to have a glock 22 gen 3 and I remember the trigger being decent. The 19x is just much smoother, lighter pull and shorter reset.
My 19x is a smooth shooter when it shoots. It’s been real picky on what ammo it wants to eat but it probably just needs to be broken in more. Only have 150 rounds thru it but it hates freedom munitions 147g. Stove pipes every round. Even the RSO tried it and was like man that’s weird and he’s never seen that happen with a new glock
I don't know how many different brands of guns you have had but Glock is definitely in the middle of the pack it's not horrible at anything but it's also not great at anything

I like the Glock 45. The 45 is compatible with all the Glock 17, 19x and 33 round magazines. Glock 19x is not compatible with a Glock 17 gen 5 magazine. I love my black guns too🖤💪🏿👍🏿
I have to agree. I tested out a few triggers at my local gun store and I fell in love instantly. The only draw back was that $2500 and up price tag 😩😩. But eventually I will have one or two or three lol 😂
I don't find the 19x frame compelling ( compared to glock 17 gen 5), if your gonna have a full-size frame get a 4.5 or 5 inch slide, no reason to give up ballistics when the grip is what makes a gun more difficult to conceal. if your concern is weight reduction, I find the weight gains from a shorter slide negligible. P.S. i have small hands.
Thanks for the insight 💯. I have Medium sized Hands so certain grips large or small will fit snug on my hand. Depending on the grip angle and trigger guard under cut and a few more factors determines how comfortable it feels in my hand. But you’re correct about the slide. That 19 slide is cool but that 4.5 or 5 inch slide with the full size grip is just different. Me owning a few firearms with those exact specs I can definitely tell a difference.
The 19x was designed for combat oriented use. The shorter slide lets you clear your holster faster than the standard 17 length. The ballistics advantage of the 17 over the 19 is negligible, usually around a 30-40 fps gain. And last but not least, the aesthetics of the 19x looks better than just a standard full size g17.
@@MarcoFromTropoja if your defensive ammo is FMJ, Then I would agree, but the extra length of the 17 has a negligible effect on holster draw/ present/ fire time, I've trained on and carried both for professional use. the extra 50 FPS isn't going to make your ammo magically more lethal, you are correct in that, but if your using JHP ammo, it helps ensure the ammo you have stays above expansion velocities (especially Speer gold dot and Critical duty, HST doesn't seem to be as sensitive) as well as giving you a longer sight radius, softer recoil impulse, and flatter shooting round (if your ever in a duty situation), enables faster follow up shots. ultimately the individual shooter skill and need is the most important factor , and I will concede that these conversations are more fun /splitting hairs than anything else.
Glock refuses to listen to the consumer. They can’t hang onto that name much longer. There are better shooting guns that are more ergonomic than the glock.
I have had my Glock 19x for a month and now it's turning blueish on the inside of the side it's a very common problem with the 19x I said I would never own a Gen 5 but the 19x kind of fell into my lap I'm going to end up trading it for Gen 4

I have the Glock 45 MOS and I love it. I changed the trigger to a Timney trigger I also put on a Holosun 507C.

Glock in general is over hyped there are good guns don’t get me wrong but in my opinion there’s better guns than glocks

You can put 19x slide on Gen4 19 frame And OMG it’s top tier!!! And concealable

You can try all the other brands in the world but it'll be something about other brands that you'll find yourself back to a glock.

Glock 45 all the way but the P320, VP9 and the FN 509 MRD are better pistols out of the box.
