Having driven a 2020 RC 350 F-Sport for the past 10 months, and travel a good distance to work and back, the car is extremely comfortable, has plenty of power, especially in sport or sport + mode, and I get 31-32 miles per gallon on the fwy, consistently. Yes, it's way too similar. I would look at a few cars. Infiniti Q60 Red Sport Audi S5 Audi S3 Jaguar F Type V6 BMW 440i or 435i Mercedes AMG C43 Acura Integra Type S I've owned a 2020 RC350 for 3 years. It is not a dynamic car. Really is not a bad car. Awesome daily driver and touring coupe. But if you are handy with a wrench or have a warranty, the Germans rivals, especially BMW, dominate it.
it's too expensive for the lack of performance and interior design. $58k.?! I'm looking at a $45k car. Maybe $47k. You are paying a premium for the reliability.
I like the car and it's on my shopping list. Just can't make up my mind between sporty car or pickup. I wouldn't cross shop to the BMW or the others. Honestly for me the Lexus reputation for reliability does it for me and it drives sporty enough for my purposes. I'm not tracking the car. The Lexus also has less of a "yuppie" or "jerk driver" reputation compared to the BMW et al. Do like the car though.
I can give you three reasons without watching the vid: 1. Your entire identity isn't wrapped up in having higher specs than your bros, and you've grown out of stoplight racing. 2. There aren't that many in the wild, you will likely be the only owner in your immediate area 3. It performs great and will still perform great 10 years from now with only regular maintenance Also, shout-out to Forrest, he's not only repping Texas out in Cali, but funky town as well!😊 (He knows what I mean)
Nice car, but 311 HP !!??!?!? Back in early 2000s I looked at BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and Jaguars *Bag for the buck* Infiniti wins. My Q60S would whoop their azzes ! 400hp 376 torque Twin turbo
Why there isn't a turbo on this i'll never know. What a massive L. Adding a turbo to this could justify the price point if it cranked out about 380hp. No reason to buy this when the M440i exists for the same price
A misaimed car. Slow (a 12 yr old accord or Altima 6mt will take it), heavy, soft.... I was looking forward to it as my next coupe until it actually came out. If you're just going to have a cruiser, might as well get a 4 door. I suppose this is good for people who only want to look sporty - but that was more of a 90's market niche.
Just a reliable civilized sports coupe that makes a fantastic daily driver. Stick with the naturally aspirated version, reliable. BTW glad to see this assembled in Japan while all the low to moderately priced Germans are made in Mexico, unbeknownst to the casual Bavarian consumer.
In the AWD version of these cars you do not get an 8-speed auto.......you get a 6-speed auto. The RWD Version of these with the Torsion LSD is the only way to go. The AWD Version is uglier because of the front of the car looking like it's lifted because of the transfer case. It's also heavier and gets worse mpg.
When I spend 65 K on a car, I expect to see some pleasing colors on the inside. This car has no colors on the interior and it screams cheapness. Common Toyota, you can do better.
I've been to collage....and no collage kids could afford this....until 50 and all the student loans etc...house... kids leave home etc... ... I had a muscle car in collage..they were a lot cheaper back then... got me a lot of tickets... if you are making a big wage then mustang gt. challenger... Camaro... hang onto your hat and hope you live until you get this one... this is an old retired dude's car that like looks... some power but not obnoxious... a great Smooth ride... and you aren't stuck and have to push it out of a snow bank any more..

Design Good!!
Add turbo V6 💯
it's too expensive for the lack of performance and interior design. $58k.?! I'm looking at a $45k car. Maybe $47k. You are paying a premium for the reliability.
That’s exactly why you buy a used one with low miles in great condition for almost $20K less
I have one and it's a amazing car
Lexus for me 💯
I like the car and it's on my shopping list.
V6 all day!!!!
I thought I was watching a Key and Peele skit
I can give you three reasons without watching the vid:
1. Your entire identity isn't wrapped up in having higher specs than your bros, and you've grown out of stoplight racing.
2. There aren't that many in the wild, you will likely be the only owner in your immediate area
3. It performs great and will still perform great 10 years from now with only regular maintenance
Also, shout-out to Forrest, he's not only repping Texas out in Cali, but funky town as well!😊 (He knows what I mean)
That’s a beautiful car! You should take it for a ride and get a haircut. That would be the best course of action! 🥳👍
If they turbocharged the 3.5 it would just as fast as the rcf
They turbo that V6
ps. great review... I was going to put that in first ....
NON TURBO, way more reliable.
Definitely outdated interior- they definitely do milk it for all they can before they update it
Just bought a Lexus RX coupe, gas mileage is about 21 with air conditioning on, hardly gas efficient
Too expensive. Needs to be in the high 40s topping out at 50k
Nice car, but 311 HP !!??!?!?
Back in early 2000s I looked at BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and Jaguars
*Bag for the buck* Infiniti wins.
My Q60S would whoop their azzes ! 400hp 376 torque Twin turbo
i will take q60❤😊😊
That is not true at all.
It's conservative engineering in a high end personal car. If you want something different, get something different.
It’s not conservative it’s just extremely overpriced
I have this car… I’m going for the BMW coupe next. My time with Lexus has come to an end
why?
BMW 4 series everywhere RC is nowhere to be found no demand no supply
Ok I can't take this guy seriously with that hairdo 😳😱
Interior look like crap. Need to redesign
A lot of money for an old car.
What you mean? That one is a 2021. What are you talking about?!
It’s 2024 now and it’s still the same
When I spend 65 K on a car, I expect to see some pleasing colors on the inside. This car has no colors on the interior and it screams cheapness. Common Toyota, you can do better.
Its for a collage kid.
Out dated.
