A person testifying in His Own Defense in a Murder Trial gets a lot of latitude. That’s true whether or not His Attorney is asking him questions. In this case, obviously, he’s representing himself. He is allowed a lot of latitude, because The Prosecutor cross-examines him for any problem they have. I have watched a lot of Trials, and The Prosecutor hardly ever objects when a Murder Defendant is testifying.

He knew her before the incident. Why wouldn't you want to prove your innocence? I feel like people don't understand how it feels to be charged with or alleged to have done something that you did not do. The detectives did a horrible job of investigating this crime. It was poorly done and the outcome is this. This Travis character obviously lied his ass off during that first interrogation and those detectives made him agree to their theory, He did not say anything that matched the police investigation narrative until they said it first. That is the issue I have, that interrogation was awful and the cops planted those narratives into Travis's head and he simply agreed with it and simply went along with it. I just feel like if Tucker was in fact guilty he would have taken the plea deal they offered him, Why fight this case for years and years and represent himself in trial if you are guilty and you know the evidence is stacked against you? Doesn't make any sense at all if you ask me. It is the fact that he is innocent that makes you want to fight and fight for your life no mater what it takes.

The fact that the one and only witness he had didn't help him out at all in his defense says alot and the only alibi he can give is that he got so drunk he passed out he testimony wasn't believable at all he couldn't even stay consistent in his rambling story telling

Wow, that’s crazy. I thought the same thing about Travis when I listened to his testimony, I did not believe a word he said specially after watching the video of his interrogation, when the cops literally hand fed him the information, and he simply agreed, and replied the same as what was told to him. Once Travis realized that the police thought that Tucker was involved, he simply went along with it, knowing that that would get him off of the murder conviction. This is a simple case when you stop looking at all of the petty details like the way he looks or the way he talks or carries himself and you only pay attention to the actual facts in the actual evidence you see that the states case is extremely weak, and they do not have any actual evidence, no physical evidence no DNA evidence. The only testimony that they have is from Travis himself and you guys are and girls believe this that’s hilarious. Common sense in America has fallen into an all-time low.
