Funny story. I got tired of wasting so much money on drugstore pregnancy tests every month when we were TTC, so I bought a 25 pack of those pregnancy tests on Amazon. The first one I took was positive. So I passed on the other 24 to a friend who had been trying for awhile. Her first one was positive. A third and fourth friend also got positive tests from that pack of 25. By the time they expired, we added a handful of babies to our friend circle and there were lots of tests leftover. We joked that we got a lucky pack.

I just wanted to say thank you. We went to the pool with our 2 year old today and i was just sitting besides in my dress, not feeling comfortable being 30 weeks pregnant. But then I remembered a video where you said that you should just do it and have fun with your kids. So i went in the pool and had the best hours with my Baby 💝 you made my day, love from Germany 🤗
For used books I recommend Thriftbooks! They get their books from small thrift shops and old school and library books. Lots of books you can see exactly where they come from. I got a couple books from Canada in my last order. My books are more well traveled than I am
I completely agree - 100%. I’m an avid reader and I order from them all the time for myself, my nieces and my granddaughters. I’ve only had one book come that was not in good shape and I reached out to Thrift books about it. They responded immediately and replaced the book right away - no hassle and they were super nice! I love Thrift books! Once I’m done with a book - I pass it on to friends and family.

Since you asked, I purchase things from Amazon Prime. It started with buying kitty litter, which weighs a ton, and cat food, because I can get the brand I want, without driving to multiple stores to find it, especially helpful during the quarantine. It is delivered right to my door. God bless those guys who bring it. I am 74, have only one cat, but lugging those two items from the parking lot to my apartment is more of a chore than I can handle. Other things I buy are my special vitamins and supplements. Again I used to have to drive to several stores to find what I needed in stock. The vitamins were less costly on Amazon than I was previously paying locally. With the time and gas money I spent searching, it almost paid for the prime membership. Things I needed right away, like printer ink, were also something that saved me a 20 mile trip to Best Buy. I don’t watch a lot of tv or stream movies, my addiction is TH-cam. I recently saw one that said that people over a certain age can get prime for half price……. I paused the video, checked it out, now I pay half what I did before. I created a wish list on Amazon, so I don’t put things in my cart and spontaneous buy them, I give myself time to revisit them, consider my wants vs. needs etc. Amazon has been a game changer for me.

The only thing I buy on Amazon are tried and true known sustainable brands, really only to save shipping costs. All the other stuff I've gotten is always cheap china crap. You should look into using Libby or Overdrive. They are free apps for checking out ebooks, audiobooks, magazines with the use of your local library card. I use OverDrive all the time. My 7 year old loves to have an interesting kids audiobook to listen to when he goes to bed. Helps him wind down before sleep. He picks the book and I set it to play for 10-15 minutes. My 4 year old still prefers music at bedtime, but for older kids free audiobooks are great. 😎
My mom loooooves the Duralex glasses, and she exclusively kept my childhood home stocked with those. They are effortlessly classic and last a long time (with a little care). Also, I really like this video because it's interesting to learn about where people source their household essentials. It gives me some inspo on how to keep my essentials stocked efficiently. Also, that electric lighter looks like a real game changer! Might be purchasing that this year!

Especially after this last year small and local businesses need our support more than ever. It blows my mind that for so many it’s normal to say „I’ll order it from Amazon“. That’s not providing jobs in our communities. I highly encourage everyone to not buy everything on Amazon (for a multitude of reasons).
Like I said in the video, our first stop is local businesses, then we branch out from there and often Amazon ends up being the last place we go. While I agree with much you said I would encourage you to acknowledge that not everyone ca afford the premium price of shopping small. I know when I was just starting out with our family, paying 3x for something at a local shop was just not in the budget and we had to make it work for us. I hope one day shopping small isn’t such a privilege but more a common thing for many more people, until then being able to shop on Amazon is how people can afford to diaper their babies and furnish their homes.
We always buy laundry detergent on Amazon. My son needs the free and clear powder. The liquid make him break out in a rash. And Amazon is the only place we have been able to find it
My favorite Amazon thing to buy is packs of cabinet hardware, bonus points for it being the warehouse deals. I’ve updated our hardware in the house or on furniture for so cheap!

I had a great experience with patio furniture on Amazon. I wanted rocking chairs,but didn't have the budget for Home Goods or Wayfair, and since Amazon accepted returns, (I didn't know about the return pit) I took the dive. The furniture is solid, relatively easy to put together the cushions are quality and so far so good! I'm not even a prime member, I don't have much extra money to spend, but I am happy with this purchase.
I have purchased 2 bed frames from Amazon and been very happy with them. I recently purchased my first hydroponic growing system as well. With Michigan weather, waiting to garden is like trying to win the lottery. Haha! Now it's very VERY hot, but our short grow time this is a good investment for my vegetarian lifestyle year round.

Just used your code to buy the menstrual cups :) I remember you had mentioned that brand before and I had wanted to try it. I love menstrual cups but after having my 4th baby, the Diva, the Duchess, and my Saalt cup just do NOT work or fit. Love these videos. Your mention of your husband's interest in nutrition made me wonder, has there been any habits in the kitchen/food prep/ingredients in the past couple years? I always get Ticonderoga from Amazon when they put them on a big sale. :) They were just $7.06 for a 96 ct and our school supply lists require 36 pencils per kid. Costco often has a good price, too. I’m trying to shop more brick and mortar stores now, though. We still have Prime but we have some concerns about supporting that giant business as our go-to. We still use Amazon a lot when sending gifts to people because of the high cost of postage to send it ourselves. Always appreciate your videos!

I also really like ordering online from Walmart to be shipped to my house. Of course Amazon packages are still frequently delivered to our door- so convenient!
I purchased the Shark Wandvac after one of your recent videos and it IS amazing and PERFECT for our camper. I purchased it from Walmart for about $88 which sadly for Amazon was less expensive than them, at least a couple weeks ago. Again though, amazing vacuum!

The glasses you talked about, the 'duralex' ones, here in France, alllllll the school cafeterias are 100% 'duralex glasses' don't know if it's a national partnership or what😅, but I have been in 6 different schools and 100% always duralex glasses, when I was little, we had a game with the number at the bottom if it was "14" it was like "oh look I'm 14 I'm a big girl/boy..." and every time I see those glasses I think about it. And yes they are almost unbreakable!

It's less expensive for me to buy my Bio Coffee, a pack of 32 for $39.98, once a month. I also get macadamia nuts for $15.03, collagen peptides for $24.97, and my NuttZo Keto nut butter for $11.75. These prices are less than I can get them locally, although I can't find the nut butter or coffee except at the expensive health food shops, but I try to buy local as much as I can. I'm an Amazaon Prime member too, so save with shipping. I also get a lot of products from Grove Collaborative every month. 😎
Anytime I buy toiletries on Amazon, they come spilled open. I live in Alaska and we don’t always have everything I need here so sometimes I’m forced to buy things from them.

I had a great experience with patio furniture on Amazon. I wanted rocking chairs,but didn't have the budget for Home Goods or Wayfair, and since Amazon accepted returns, (I didn't know about the return pit) I took the dive. The furniture is solid, relatively easy to put together the cushions are quality and so far so good! I'm not even a prime member, I don't have much extra money to spend, but I am happy with this purchase.
Good to know about the essential oils from amazon! I have some oils and just use them to make my house smell good!

I have purchased 2 bed frames from Amazon and been very happy with them. I recently purchased my first hydroponic growing system as well. With Michigan weather, waiting to garden is like trying to win the lottery. Haha! Now it's very VERY hot, but our short grow time this is a good investment for my vegetarian lifestyle year round.

Just used your code to buy the menstrual cups :) I remember you had mentioned that brand before and I had wanted to try it. I love menstrual cups but after having my 4th baby, the Diva, the Duchess, and my Saalt cup just do NOT work or fit. I always get Ticonderoga from Amazon when they put them on a big sale. :) They were just $7.06 for a 96 ct and our school supply lists require 36 pencils per kid. Costco often has a good price, too.
I’m trying to shop more brick and mortar stores now, though. We still have Prime but we have some concerns about supporting that giant business as our go-to.
We still use Amazon a lot when sending gifts to people because of the high cost of postage to send it ourselves.

I also really like ordering online from Walmart to be shipped to my house. Of course Amazon packages are still frequently delivered to our door- so convenient!

I purchased the Shark Wandvac after one of your recent videos and it IS amazing and PERFECT for our camper. I purchased it from Walmart for about $88 which sadly for Amazon was less expensive than them, at least a couple weeks ago. Again though, amazing vacuum!

The glasses you talked about, the 'duralex' ones, here in France, alllllll the school cafeterias are 100% 'duralex glasses' don't know if it's a national partnership or what😅, but I have been in 6 different schools and 100% always duralex glasses, when I was little, we had a game with the number at the bottom if it was "14" it was like "oh look I'm 14 I'm a big girl/boy..." and every time I see those glasses I think about it. And yes they are almost unbreakable!

It's less expensive for me to buy my Bio Coffee, a pack of 32 for $39.98, once a month. I also get macadamia nuts for $15.03, collagen peptides for $24.97, and my NuttZo Keto nut butter for $11.75. These prices are less than I can get them locally, although I can't find the nut butter or coffee except at the expensive health food shops, but I try to buy local as much as I can. I'm an Amazaon Prime member too, so save with shipping. I also get a lot of products from Grove Collaborative every month. 😎
