such a great ride. when I lived in Seattle in the 90s, I used to start in Ballard and bike the Burke-Gilman with my friend up to Sammamish River trail and all the way to Marymoor park to look for Red Tailed hawks. about 60 miles round trip

No trail in West Lake Sammamish Parkway along the water front. I walked nearly half of the East Lake Sammamish trail from Redmond to Inglewood and walked up that steep hill. I was panting for breath when I finally got home, but at the end, it was worthy walking that stretch of trail. it was good exercise and good for the heart and blood pressure.
