Absolutely this video has answered a major question I've been having with how to convert a Pride Ralley 3 wheeler into a total custom 4 or 6 maybe even 8 wheeled totally still usable as my daily grocery getter scoot I used this ralley because it is old enough it may be harder to get parts for. So let me share my dream, I bought a full size grocery cart that I will use as the new body extension to which I will add the front portion of the Ralley I've started by separating the parts of the donor scoot ( many of the Pride units have a easy disassembly feature stock ) so ounce I had it apart I turned the cart to the orientation of left to right in front of myself as if a person was pushing it from my left to my right with the cart setting in this orientation I considered the left or handle side to be the front when the unit is completed . So now I set the power plant portion minus the wheels & tires onto the back lower shelf of the cart. to the left of this I will add several extra high power Lithium batteries set up in 2 12v sets of batteries so I only need to add a band of switches to change which set is in use at a time . I will also add a 12v battery set to run my vehicle components on. next I need to move what was the steering stock, base board & instruments to the left side of the cart where I will bolt & weld it & new beefed up frame work to carry the newly added weight & features. this concern with the weight is because the donor scooter is only rated for a max load of 400lbs. I will both gain weight capacity by using lithium batteries but I will loose by using several more & larger ones ) I'm not sure how this weight capacity is figured, so that is part of the reason why I'm not sure how many wheels & tires I will need to suport the new weight. it isn't that major of a issue because if it is to much for this motor I will up grade it. I really want my TtT C Cab 1924 ford delivery micro mini truck / mobility scooter. Yep that's thelook I'm going for. I hear customizing these scooters is a big deal on the other side of the pond. When I finish this current build My plan is to build a USA wide customizing club to make more of these to provide my fellow ol custom bugs a last great run. We did the vans & mini trucks as well as the hot rods. wish me luck. but yes the way you did this front drive assembly did help me very much. And if you ever need a idea for another video how about a nice slow detailed how to make those front bonits I think you called them & your fenders thanks again I'll be watching.
