Thanx for the video Lance. I alway enjoy your videos from the Mississippi River, makes me wish this Iowegian lived much closer than I do. Keep ‘em coming in the boat, tight lines my friend.
You can't say it anymore better about the technique you were using. I also was using a paddle tail swimbait going after walleyes catching some in the morning. nice sensitive walleye fishing pole. Good luck and keep catching them
Another excellent video. Thanks for the detailed explanation of this episode. Really liked hearing the water temperatures , depth , jig presentation, which way the current is flowing , jig type , line type , walleye size etc. I couldn’t help but wonder what the air temp on the water was. You explained things very well. That night fishing looks like a lot of fun. Those were some nice fish. I keep waiting for that 10 pounder to hit . Your inspiring .Thank you Angler X.
I've only had one over 30" from the Mississippi River which was many years ago. Generally speaking, my biggest fish of the year is usually 25-28". So far nothing that nice this year.
Very nice to see you releasing fish!!! They can grow and you Catch them again👍
Well done. Great teaching points and your editing is seamless.

Great video man!! Can’t wait till the episode when you crack a 30” Mississippi River tank
Do they get that big on the Mississippi? I hope so because the only time I’ve caught anything 30+ is on lake of the woods.
They definitely catch 30”+ on the Mississippi, I’ve got a 30.75” on the wall from the Lynxville area, just south of the area Lance fishes
Biggest I've seen is 33. I have caught a 30 though. The slot messed things up IMO. I catch lots of slots. 3 per legal on average.
That’s insane. I’m doing something wrong 😂

What the name of your rod? Medium light fast?
You sure can make a guy jealous lol. Which technique of this spring run has been your favorite.
The blade baits are a ton of fun but the thump on a jig and plastic is top for me.
So the bigger the plastics the bigger the fish?
You have the wild game on?
yes 😊
What boat is that?
