I think maybe the waterfowl dance (if that is indeed the name of that advancing AoE chain slashy slash slash move) can be avoided by releasing target lock so you can turn the camera around fully, and then sprinting the other way, as soon as you see her rise up and hover in the air. Depending on how far away you are, and you might still need to roll once or twice if she gets close enough. But the best strategy, I think, is to be out of reach... easier said than done, but possible. Black Knife Ringleader was tough too! Found that her deadly slashy sphere move, seems to be avoidable by dodging or even running past her... but she has a certain amount of turning ability while readying it, I think, so passing by her too soon might just get you hit in the back. Timing can be pretty tricky with a lot of these super-deadly moves...

The issue is, no matter how far you run, the 3rd step of the Waterfowl will always reach you unless you dive towards her. And even then, it's risky.
