Yes. It's a question coming on our lips. Interesting thought. However, I would like to share my view.
I would wish for a decade at least for Bharat to get stronger and not get sidetracked but China/Pak collaborative efforts to divert our resources. . If that happens then we could well take the initiative of responding in kind; which sets the situation up the escalatory ladder. We could handle it and take it on. Till then, we need to exercise strategic patience to line up all the ducks in a row.

Sirs, I think China would have built CPEC for free, due to it's requirement of alternative route to South China sea trade route. It would have had an agreement with Pakistan only to get around enemy land use and not to raise any doubts in Pakistan regarding Chinese intentions. But Pakistan is more cunning and will use TTP and BLA terrorism to avoid payment of CPEC dues. China is using Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis in the Middle East without involving directly and the same strategy will be used against India using Pakistan. And another point is politicians never mattered and will never matter in Pakistan, only the Army Chief does.

@@seshagirivemuri6503 Interesting analysis. Pakistan elite army never face money shortage or arms. Parallel economy thriving thru arms and drug smuggling in joint venture with China. Most if western nations, OIC, IOC, China etc using Pakistan to train and rent terriorists. Recent Russia attack best example. China patrolling IOR to smuggle drugs and pass information to drug cartels, fishing militia. Many nefarious activities going on. Infra must be alerted

Is SinoPak alliance waiting for India to show off and dissipate her energies in Indian Ocean / red sea region and then derive dividends from their peacetime plans to bring Gwadar in operation, to give them economic dividends ?
