Just finished binging through all 5 seasons so I was finally able to look at the tag on Tumblr and on Pinterest. I found this video on Pinterest, and the fact that it was to this song which I love, got me to watch it. Glad I did, because wow.
this video is heartbreakingly beautiful in every way possible - and i just - the feels, the voiceovers, all the emotions - I will never be over this series and the amazing message within those short but powerful five seasons (though I've still not watched the last two episodes because i want to remain in my bubble, okay!) And that HD is gorgeous, can I just say??!! *salivating like homer thinking of doughnuts* I have so many Merlin videos in the works, and I'm dealing with 400p episodes and all the colourings and keyframe issues *shudders* the rules are the same as they always were - both merlin and morgana with the whole magic comes at a cost parallel - really though, all the merlin/morgana parallels are amazing - OTP right here, yes yes (though I tend to ship the foursome all the way around XD) the i grew up parallel - i'm crying right now. And oh goodness, the right down to the second part where Arthur gets on his knees to beg his father for forgiving his rage - just gets me, the emotion! the screaming parallels, and then gaius' v/o with how much they've done for you, mixed with arthur thanking merlin - and AS IF WE WEREN'T ALREADY SOBBING - you go and change from greyscale to colour with the credits list - just not fair to my feelings, do you not care? And the ending with Merlin still by the lake, waiting until he can see his best friend again - ahhhh, dammit Arthur, you're needed now, come back!
