I don't often comment or anything, but I feel like I need to in this one I know the series is a much more funny and young version of the legends of King Arthur and all, and I love it, you know? It's magical and beautiful and the characters are so easy to get attached to! But you can read under the speeches and look beyond of what the series shows, and it's tragic anyway - just like in the legends. Everyone who had s basic knowledge of King Arthur's legends knows how it ends, how Morgana was supposed to become and all that, but still, it's sad. Merlin was portrayed often as a funny and dumb friend (well, he is a dork, we can't deny it), but we all wanted the moment where he would simply be the almighty warlock he is destined to be! Those moments, like when he killed Nimueh, became the Dragonlord, killed Agravaine, those moments! Precious and powerful, you know? Merlin grows up as a character and it's sad, but so, SO powerful. He is powerful. We often forget it because the series had to keep it secret and everything, but WE KNOW how INCREDIBLE and clever and potent he is! It's beautiful to see that! It's painful as well, we know. But he's still a young boy sometimes, or at least I think he wants to be. I love him, I love him too much! Amazing, amazing, amazing, and don't worry, it was painful as well, you did it! ♥️

It's always fun to come across a video uploaded only a few days ago, while on a Merlin binge. This is so beautiful and powerful that I can just feel his pain and how much he has gone through with his magic and for Arthur. I love him so much and miss this show so much. Thank you for continuing to edit it and keep our love for it alive. ❤️❤️
I love these series so much and Merlin even more... I keep coming back to them even though I know the end will always hurt me and I will forever be mad at it. Thank you so much for this beautiful video of Merlin.
I feel like the way Merlin's character developed is so sad. Don't get me wrong, it is extremely well done, both in script and in Colin Morgan's performance. It makes sense and is entirely believable that he turned out this way, considering all of his experiences and influences around him. But still, so sad. He used to be this boy who was trusting, who saw the good in everyone and who always did the right thing, consequences be damned. But with the dragon and Gaius constantly telling Merlin not to trust/aid Morgana and Mordred and, of course, their consequent betrayals (although arguably a result of him not trusting and helping them), he grew paranoid and skeptical. Refusing to believe they were capable of salvation and judging them for things they hadn't yet done (Mordred in S5 who's only wish was to be trusted and accepted and Morgana in the earlier seasons only wanting to, again, be accepted and not feel so alone). It even went as far as to him preventing the legalization of magic (which was what he had been fighting for the entire show!!) only because he thought it would bring about Mordred's death. It just makes you think you think "what if?". What if he'd helped them? What if he'd been honest? Would Morgana have remained the good, kind and just person that she was? Would she have believed in Arthur's destiny and stayed by his side as a loyal ally? Would she have been able to fight of Morgause's corruption and not have harbored a desire for power and the throne? Would Mordred have stayed as a trusted knight of Camelot and not betray his king? Would Arthur have lived? Of course deep down I know Merlin is a good person. He never wanted to hurt any of them, only protect Arthur and what he thought would lead to the acceptance of magic. He also helped many others and showed regret every time he realized he'd done the wrong thing (and tried to fix it of course). It's also relevant to keep in mind that he was impressionable to Gaius and Kilgharrah's views and had to deal with such a heavy burden at such a young age. So I don't think he is at fault for becoming this way, but it is just so awfully sad. It feels like the loss of innocence. PS - he is still an adorable bean and I love him so much

It captures the very essence of Merlin... his pain, the tremendous burden he carries, his humble and protective nature, but most importantly his undying love and devotion to Arthur and the future of Albion. He is by far my most favorite fictional character of all time! Not just Merlin, but Colin Morgan as Merlin (Emrys) in this series. Some of my favorite quotes are in this video too! "You don't even have a sword." Merlin: "I don't NEED one!" "I see you Morgana. Still afraid of me? FACE ME!" "Goodbye, Morgana." Oh how I loved that scene! No yelling, just a calm Merlin doing what needed to be done. He didn't even tell her about Excalibur until AFTER he ran her through. Then he pulled up and made sure it was over before gently laying her down. Best. moment. EVER! Please make more videos of Merlin. The Fandom is very much alive! Thank you again for this awesome edit. ❤❤❤

I love this series, soo much, but... Am I the only one who gets super frustrated while watching it, knowing that if Merlin had just trusted Morgana with his secret back when she was just learning about her magic, the whole story could have gone so differently? I mean, she *might* have turned him in, but I feel like she'd just have been so happy to not feel alone that she would never have gone so astray. Just my two cents.
The legends of kind Arthur the Lion king, came from Questenberg Castle in Questenberg, Germany. There is a blueprint of it. When you find it notice how its in the shape of a lion's head. The king there was protecting a set of twins, a boy and girl. The girl died at a young age by a animal attack and the boy continued the bloodline. ..Its a very special bloodline.
I feel like Merlin suffered most of all. More than Morgana and the others. Knowing your destiny (and your friends' ones) is a curse. It's never blessing
