That Fenty foundation stick looked horrible, compared to the Laura Mercier. Laura Mercier makes hits and rarely misses with anything within the brand. She was paid.
I think it would have looked better if she blended down, I know she said summer shade and all, but I found the undertone disparity so distracting. That being said, even without the color, the Laura Mercier finish looked better on her, at least on camera
I honestly looooove the fenty stick foundation, but saying it is better then the LM? While looking like the way it did on camera? No. She could’ve gone with the eazedrops ‘for lighter days’ or other shit to eat fenty’s ass. But she made the weirdest choice to do a comparison.
Also, you would think if it's her favorite foundation that she would have it in her correct winter color. Tell me that she doesn't love it as much as she is passing it off to be. She didn't even try that hard to make us believe it either.
Does Glamzilla think that the more she whispers the less cancellable she is? Why does she start whispering to try and sound casual instead of making an actual solid argument?

I don't care if Jeffree Star has the best concealer and James Charles has the best face brands. The best products belong to brands that I don't support because I don't support their moral compass. For example, L'Oréal because of animal testing. Their products could make the best skin and my taxes. If I don't support the values, I don't support the brand.
Manny and Laura b!tching is RICHHHH. Those two were some of the biggest sell outs. They took every sponsorship, pushed every product from companies that paid for them to go on lavish trips or parties 😂 They were the literal inventors of the sneaky influencer game. WILD.
I know!!! Like is it THAT hard to simply and honestly say “ this product is sponsored by yadayadayada “ like we want HONESTY. The reason we watch reviews is for the HONESTY.

Okay people, listen carefully. You cannot rely on influencers opinions for products. Go to your local beauty store and grab a sample. These people get paid to open their front facing camera. Stop trusting them!!!

I feel like at this point if some influencers become blunt and honest about being paid or not they would gain so much more support and loyal followers for being so open. Having trust with your followers will create a brand loyalty that is long-term profit.
Glamzilla is clearly clout chasing. She’s just jumping from her next big thing to her next thing. When she doesn’t get her desired result well then you gotta pivot.
I think it’s funny to hear manny & Laura acting like sponsorship-baiting is a new revelation they’ve never thought of before, or like they could never 😂

The way she talks is like when the main character is begging the casting directors for the main role even though she fell when walking on-stage and couldn't hit any of the notes.
Mallory Brooke said in one of her videos that a few years back she went on a brand trip and Glamzilla was one of the influencers that was really rude and stuck up lol
My thought when I saw the video was that most foundations looks nice when they are first applied, are still wet, and especially with a smooth application like a flat brush. I could make several dry, cakey, badly wearing foundations look amazing if I stopped the video right after swiping it on and then blending it in?? If something did look bad 30 seconds after applying, I dont know how it made it out of product testing 😂
It also bothers me that barely any of these people do wear time tests to prove the longevity of the product. I can name only one person I actually watch that does and she can prove to me that the foundation is as good as she says it is. And you can tell time has passed just by looking at her application and then the time skip. I almost never believe these people's bs, over the top reviews when they can't even show me their face a couple hours later 😂
Laura and manny acting as if they were the nicest beauty gurus of their times. Laura was always praising Kylie cosmetics but when she didn’t receive PR , suddenly she started disliking her products
“I’m just curious, I just want to know”… no. Just NO. If you KNOW the poor behaviour of the person you are buying from, you ARE DIRECTLY SUPPORTING THEM. So the fact that she doesn’t care about the person she is buying from means she doesn’t have any personal morals.
glamzilla can do whatever she wants but she can't get nervous or defensive when she knows there will be consequences and backlash for her public decisions
When they technically speak too much about the product, you know it's sponsored. A typical consumer would just buy, try and react on how the product feels and performs. Why do people give so much power on influencers who most of the time we know are a sell out. They are the modern equivalent of an infomercial trying to push you to call and dial that number now.😅
it’s just the way i really am just used to seeing reviews that are either sponsored or unsponsored all the time that when i hear recommendations from certain influencers i just don’t have a trust with most! i rather just try the product myself bc a lot of these influencers are only in the industry for the $$$

I was not familiar with glamzilla's content before but her response to robert is absolutely idiotic
That reply to Robert welsh of her saying “I’m just a girl” and “I’m your Canadian Asian Latina bestie” “I didn’t know you had expectations of me” “I’m a fan”
Really feels like she is trying to make him out as a the big bad man attacking his fan who is a woman of colour and minority in her country. It also feels like she is trying to appeal to young woman of colour who hold distain for white men (Robert is Latino with a Mexican mother to my knowlage but is white passing) which is sadly becoming very prevalent in America and Canada.
Also bring up that he’s mentioned his own political views feels like her giving a reason for those who may disagree with them to side with her in case this becomes drama.
Overall I liked glamzilla before being a fellow Canadian and seeing her support schools in Toronto as well as small Canadian businesses but this has really given me a taste into her much more negative qualities and I don’t believe I will be supporting her any longer.
Ya… what people forget is Mexicans come in every color. Depends on the heritage. Some can look black, other traditional native and some Spanish blood (blue eyes, fair skin, blonde or red hair) Mexico is truly a melting pot. So I hate when people try to make someone out as a bad person or a racist when you genuinely can’t tell by appearance alone. I’m Mexican and I look like a Spaniard. People literally think I’m from Europe.
Isnt Robert part Arab ?
Thanks I learnt something I always assumed him and his twin were South Asian/Indian ... Either way they are stunning and I love them ❤
Robert is anything but white passing 😂
@@viciouslady1340 no his mother is Mexican and his dad is British Caucasian
glamzilla is too grown to be acting like that like i physically recoiled watching that
But she's jUst a GIIiiIrrRlL!
If she were really “just curious about makeup,” she could always buy those products in private, try them on her own, and find out whatever it is she’s dying to know. Why bring her viewers into it while simultaneously pretending like she doesn’t have an impressionable audience?
glamzilla whispering “i just wanna know it’s that simple. is it good.” is SO ICKYY it feels so condescending and pretentious
How he execpts people to hate another makeup brands products just because of the person who owns it🤦🏻♀️is it good or not is very much so that simple 🤷🏻♀️not everyone virtue signals
@amber13000 Exactly! I just can't stand her non transparency and fake persona of "bubblyness."
@@xperoxysm Right? Because the Fenty foundation stick was "new" and being pushed.
Does Glamzilla think that the more she whispers the less cancellable she is? Why does she start whispering to try and sound casual instead of making an actual solid argument?
And repeating “curious” 100 times, like stop already.
She makes no sense I will stop supporting her. I did not know of her drama. As a Latina, we don’t claim Glamzilla.
I feel like Glamzilla gives me the same ick MLM pushers do. She feels so disingenuous like she turns off the camera and immediately is a different person
I agree with Robert, if you give the artist, influencer, whoever your money you're supporting.
I saw Robert Welsh on the thumbnail and I panicked and had to come see!
He’s good don’t worry hahaha
Same. I was thinking, if they come for Robert we're gonna have a problem lol!
Yeah I was like "NOT ROBERT!!"
Oh my gosh same. I was like, okay I’m out. I’m headed to the wilderness. There’s no hope for any of us.
Exactly 😂
wanting to support james charles in 2024 is crazy
"dont put expectations on me" is such a poor statement, you're a CONTENT CREATOR of course that comes with expectations like?? girl wake up
@@SojuCaitfr!! Like what was that
It's Sad that so many people still do and forgot he talked to minors
@@GayforShiver or even worse they just don’t care :/
13:20 I don't care if it's good or not! I don't want my money going into the pockets of creeps and it's pathetic that influencers think it's ok to monetarily support these kinds of people
Her passive aggressive response to Robert was a choice.
@@off.arretezvousxI'm still wondering why he reviewed the lunar palette tho...
She sounded so delulu when she responded to Robert's comment.
Thank you Robert for being one of the few honest ones out there
i have to say, there are days when i feel like the worst person, and then i just remember these influencers doing this shit and suddenly i feel alright lol
Yeah that's usually how surfing the internet for me goes. There is always something going on, somewhere.
Its the tone-deafness for me and how she completely ignored the comment "youre directly funding them." By funding controversial influencers you are associating with them and supporting them. It doesn't matter the "curiosity" of the formulas, if you KNOW someone has the unforgettable and unforgivable past like those influencers why support them?
"Im just a girl that likes makeup" and? Theres hundreds and thousands of other brands, buy those instead.
SHE acts shoook when she puts it on and then says she wore it to CONCERTS... SO WHICH ONE IS IT ?
Was wondering the same thing
Glamzilla's response to Robert was bizarre.
She sounded so.. idk how to even explain
wierrd right
@@karlalifts drugs. Sounds like she's on drugs. Prob uppers
She basically called that her holy grail foundation and now it’s NOT?? lmao
Did we not already establish that she is not to be trusted?
Ppl forget and need to be reminded
I find it very ironic that Manny and Laura are speaking on this (it should be spoken about, don't get me wrong) when they partake in this very underhanded tactic and have done so for years. Just.... bffr.
Those two along with JC should not have a platform. And robert reviewed the lunar palette so I had to unfollow him😕
Laura using the wrong shade of Essence foundation claiming she loves it, when in fact, just like the others, she didn't care about Essence until they wrote her a check, lol
I agree with you. Like guys...... just stop. Don't make it worse for yourselves. It's just a show lol.
I very much distanced myself from Robert when he did the review but I also had lunar beauty product at one point (I've since decluttered tho). I love Robert's makeup advice but yeah, I don't follow him anymore too. @@blueeyedscorpio7
This doesn't surprise me at all. Laura honestly drinks up Manny's bathwater at this point too- like her popularity is contingent on people still loving Manny. And neither of them know how to shade match. @@catherinevaz6139
Exactly. James Charles likes little boys and Jeffree is a racist. Idk why people dance over that
and also LOreal is a Zionist Company killing children in Palestine
Preach sis 👏👏👏👏 I haven’t touched L’Oréal or Maybeline in years!
!!!!!!!
Wow I didn't know they did animal testing... I don't think it buy from them but their pretty big brands and now ima go thought my stuff
I died when glamzilla did a full 180 with the fenty foundation. That got me on the floor 💀😵
I love Robert and I love his content. He’s never in drama and he’s very intelligent and HONEST! He’s one of my favorite creators in the beauty space
Manny and Laura b!tching is RICHHHH. Those two were some of the biggest sell outs. They took every sponsorship, pushed every product from companies that paid for them to go on lavish trips or parties 😂 They were the literal inventors of the sneaky influencer game. WILD.
Honestly tho it takes one to know one. Manny and Laura were sneaky over everything, they can see it in others lol
can they just be honest???😭 we are tired of it
I know!!! Like is it THAT hard to simply and honestly say “ this product is sponsored by yadayadayada “ like we want HONESTY. The reason we watch reviews is for the HONESTY.
@@nalalalalala9946 LITERALLYYYYY that’s kinda why I think Jeffree was sooo popular cause he actually told the truth (but he was also super shady💀)
You 👏 can’t 👏 separate 👏 the 👏 art 👏 from 👏 the 👏 artist 👏
Reviewing it “just to get your opinion on it” is a way to give them publicity.
12:32 That response was pretty...awkward to watch. She totally glossed over the entire issue of giving these people money and a platform too 😭
Kids, listen! These influencers are no different than companies that ran commercials on television! This audience may be too young to understand🤷♀️ Influencers are just cheaper commercials, why can't we understand that it just evolved!
Okay people, listen carefully. You cannot rely on influencers opinions for products. Go to your local beauty store and grab a sample. These people get paid to open their front facing camera. Stop trusting them!!!
exactly!! i ordered the laura mercier only after testing it myself at a beauty store and i must say it is awesome
YesYesYes! This is what I'm saying too! The internet is untrustworthy!
I’m someone with really hard to match skin. Like, tan cool olive. Right now I look green like someone who has been out to sea during a hurricane 🤢 green. I trust NO ONE😂.
Yup! And read real reviews from people who’ve bought the product with their own money.
I feel like at this point if some influencers become blunt and honest about being paid or not they would gain so much more support and loyal followers for being so open. Having trust with your followers will create a brand loyalty that is long-term profit.
I unfollowed Glamzilla a while ago and wow that response was CRINGE!! Fame has changed her for the worse.
Glamzilla is clearly clout chasing. She’s just jumping from her next big thing to her next thing. When she doesn’t get her desired result well then you gotta pivot.
I’ve unsubbed from beauty “beauty influencers”! You can NOT TRUST THEM😒
Yup I did away with them years ago.
The only one I really trust is Robert Welsh!
“I’m not supporting them” goes and gives them money which DIRECTLY supports them. Hope she thinks a bit harder on this one
I think it’s funny to hear manny & Laura acting like sponsorship-baiting is a new revelation they’ve never thought of before, or like they could never 😂
I’m also convinced that the company’s behind all these promotions that are not disclosed are the main contributors to this bad trend. I would not be shocked if information gets leaked showing that company’s are specifically paying people to not disclose that their sponsored
THIS. I’ve had brands reach out and ask me not to say I got the product for free or call it a “collaboration”
Like, what???
Just block these influencers whenever you see something sketchy. they can't "influence" if they are blocked by everyone. I don't understand how some of them still have fans, when they would sell their mama for cash.
I didn’t know Glamzilla did this shady stuff too. So disappointing…
Same 😞
Glamzilla has raked in MILLIONS from doing this..I feel she puts on a "persona," and we don't see her real personality.
She's one of the worst offenders, I believe. Mikayla level of dishonesty
I find it ironic that she can’t trust the reviews that are already out there of these controversial brands, so she MUST try them herself 😂😂
she’s literally calling out the entire community 😂
Yeah, like she can't just try the products in her own time? By herself, camera off, alone.
i saw jeffree reviewing this from glamzilla’s review and was like… ew are we seeing the same thing? the foundation is ugly and minimal coverage and they were acting like it was the best thing ever
I don’t watch influencers and don’t have tik tok. I just bought the Laura mercier foundation , had no idea it went viral and had never heard anything about it. I can tell you that it is really nice. I really like it. It’s buildable and it stays on your face all day. My old foundation would rub off. You should always try things yourself
You can easily achieve that shiny, dewy look with hemp oil. It's cheap and a good moisturiser for people with dry/very dry skin/sensitive skin and those prone to spots.
did she really say "for redemption, wouldn't this be the best thing you ever came out with?" about JAMES CHARLES? REDEMPTION????? what in tarnation????? like the expectations were low but damn
I specifically avoid that part of tik tok because you can’t trust ANYONE. It’s a shame.
Glamzilla be acting like she spiraling outta control or she’s on something 😂
Oh Amanda Barrett----I wish I could be that naive too. Girl... come on now. lol Also "please don't put expectations on me" GIRL YOU'RE AN INFLUENCERRRRRRRRRRR That comes with the territory. We EXPECT you to be HONEST. We EXPECT you to DISCLOSE. We EXPECT you to be a decent human being who won't monetarily support TERRIBLE people!!!!
@thxwanderer THIS! We never see wear tests anymore in short form content which is so disappointing
@meghan6734 I agree! And it's so weird that these people press about how great the product is and it's only been like 5 minutes 🥲
Laura and manny acting as if they were the nicest beauty gurus of their times. Laura was always praising Kylie cosmetics but when she didn’t receive PR , suddenly she started disliking her products
Influencers need to expand their vocabulary. 'Obsessed!' Girlll....
🤣🤣
I love how Laura and manny are saying people shouldn’t post content like that, meanwhile that’s what they were doing that with Morphe for YEARS
“I’m just curious, I just want to know”… no.
Just NO.
If you KNOW the poor behaviour of the person you are buying from, you ARE DIRECTLY SUPPORTING THEM.
So the fact that she doesn’t care about the person she is buying from means she doesn’t have any personal morals.
The beauty community was messy before, but I feel like it just keeps getting worse.
glamzilla can do whatever she wants but she can't get nervous or defensive when she knows there will be consequences and backlash for her public decisions
Remember back in the day when gurus would just trick us into clicking their RStyle links? Lmaoo
At this point being called an influencer is a bad label to have,
Drama and scams is now apart of there job description
When they technically speak too much about the product, you know it's sponsored. A typical consumer would just buy, try and react on how the product feels and performs. Why do people give so much power on influencers who most of the time we know are a sell out. They are the modern equivalent of an infomercial trying to push you to call and dial that number now.😅
it’s just the way i really am just used to seeing reviews that are either sponsored or unsponsored all the time that when i hear recommendations from certain influencers i just don’t have a trust with most! i rather just try the product myself bc a lot of these influencers are only in the industry for the $$$
i honestly love daus! he’s entertaining and his reviews are always so honest
Omg her explanation video triggered me. She sounds so cute and innocent in her reviews that i see but hearing her real talk nd seeing her real scary facial impressions... Gave me real villain vibes :/
Robert is one of my all time favorites. He is non biased and just gives us his honest opinion. I think hes very smart not going after fellow beauty influencers. Who wants all that nonsense drama? He just talks about the product and moves on. Love his content. 🖤
Her response shows how simple some of these people truly are and why everything we see should be scrutinized with a fine tooth comb 🪮🤨🧐. Smh 🤦🏽♀️.
I’m patiently waiting for you to talk about the Sephora kids 😂😂 I need to hear your thoughts on it
I was nervous when I saw Robert in the thumbnail. He’s a king.
The only beauty influencer that I respect is Lisa Elridge. She is beyond a beauty influencer. She is the master of makeup.
as someone who wants to be a makeup influencer one day and LOVES spilling some tea, I love it when you make videos about the makeup community.Thank you for entertaining us! You deserve everything in this world❤
I really appreciate how honest your videos are, its refreshing to see you hold people accountable for the lies.
New game for you guys drink everytime an influencer says “I’m obsessed with” everytime they review a product spoiler alert you’re going to get wasted
This glamzilla girl is like the next gen of that girl 5 years ago on youtube who always says amazing things about Kylie cosmetics just so she will always be on their PR list.
For her to disrespect Robert like that is honestly a joke. She obviously still didn't get the point after that interaction with him. The man knows what he's talking about.
As soon as she said something along the lines of “the redemption, wouldn’t this be the best thing to come out with”… HUHHH?? Using makeup as a redemption for texting minors is wildddd
I'm getting so sick of the word "obsessed"... How can everyone be obsessed with everything on first sight?!
The fact she got butt hurt is so funny to me, at this big age girl 😂
