If garbage time stats were so easy why don’t more rookies have these stats historically? Remember Manning’s rookie year? They’re usually on bad teams so they should have plenty of chances right? Lol y’all love mentioning garbage time stats while ignoring he literally played his best month of football in three straight one score games lost by the now fired coach against teams who at the time were like 9-3, 10-2, and 11-1. Sorry but 19 tds, 5 ints, 89 passer rating, the longest active rookie streak of throws without a INT in NFL history, and fastly creeping up on A rod’s all time record. All while playing on a team with the worst O line in football, and losing their HC and OC mid season will never be bust numbers for a rookie in ANY scenario. If anything he’s proven he’s resilient and that his floor is still better than the ceiling of any rookie QB the bears have ever had. 😭
Nick, research is more important than your opinion. That “stumblebum” trick play was used specifically for the Bears because they saw it could be utilized AGAINST THE BEARS. I’m sure he has plays for other teams.

If Brock doest get a contract I think he should hold out till at least 4 week of next yr f dat, he NEVER got paid I think he made like 5mill his entire career
This was the year for him to show, before the season I said he should get paid. Just not 50 plus mil, he is not the difference maker but he sure helps the train run
Dear Collin, DAllas did not sink because Dak's contract. It sunk because they played a rookie at the LT, with great upside, but was a turnstill at times. They chose the wrong RB to start, and their defense was devastated by injuries. Now the team is not as good as last year, that is true. but if not all the injuries, they'd be in the playoffs
Nick is usually good on getting things like this, so it's a bit jarring to see him so, completely, wrong on the fake fumble play. Lovely soliloquy on the Patriots, but totally irrelevant. The play by Ben Johnson was absolutely brilliant, dare I say, genius. 4D Chess as the kids might say. That play is NOT a gotta have it play. The risk reward calculus is far too high to ever actually think you'd run it when you need it. No, the Ben Johnson genius begins with him running that play, in a game they are in firm control of, at the end of the regular season. The effects of getting that play on film are astronomical. Anyone who's played football knows that, now, every defensive unit will be telling their teams to "watch out for the fake fumble". Just imagine the effect that has on a linebacker or d lineman bull rushing the pocket. There will, now, be a split second of hesitation any time they hear the words "ball ball ball!!" as has happens whenever there's a fumble. This slows defenders and puts ever so slightly a doubt in the minds of defenders whether they can trust a fumble. In a game of inches, where every little bit counts, Ben Johnson is putting on a clinic. Bravo
Dude has shanahan ever been coach of the year? He puts out these qb and running backs that get the highest playing level and are trash to the rest of league.
Purdy is a top 6 or 7 qb. His situation has been horrible and he’s still managed to play about 4 or 5 amazing games this season. Any qb in his tier (dak, Goff, hurts, etc..) would struggle with the injuries they had
I’d love to hear your QB rankings. Purdy would be lucky to be top 10 in most people’s. Injuries are a part of every team. You can’t deny the team that has been around him when he’s at his best. But he cannot carry a team when his playmakers go down. I like Purdy it’s a great story but he’s not top 10 and definitely not 6 or 7.
@ I agree he can’t carry a team. But there are only 4 qbs that can carry a team in my opinion and that’s Mahomes, Allen , Jackson and burrow. My qb rankings are really in tiers. Mahomes burrow Allen Jackson tier 1. Tier 2 is Stafford Goff Purdy hurts dak cj stroud. And I think he’s better than everyone there but stafford and cj. So he’s about 7th

My question is... why on earth would Ben Johnson take that job with that front office knowing that he has to play Dan Campbell, Kevin O'Connell and Matt LaFleur six times a year? Can't see it happening.
Merry Christmas FS1! 🎄🎄🎄🤶
Every time Nick about burdy I turn that sit off
Read more, comment less. And most importantly do not have kids
This chiefs team being a possible "greatest all time" is in nicks top 5 worst takes this year.
My favorite day of this year is when the Chiefs get beat in this years playoffs.
I know 😂😂 This Chiefs team would get smacked by the 2018 team when Mahomes started his first year 😂
@@JordyrugbyJesus Christ it's basically the same team Lol
Nick Wright hates Brock Purdy because he's done more in the NFL than his favorites: Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams, and Dak Prescott. It's personal with him.
Why mention Caleb when he a rookie 🤔 Yall love to hate 😂
@@dojinobeats7430 Nick said Caleb was better than Purdy while he was still in college. All these guys have favorites.
Remember when Colin said that your can’t win with a QB that wears his hat backwards? 😂😂then slobbered over a QB with painted nails. Also Hurts seems to be wearing his hat to the back now too, wonder if Colin still loves him? No matter. It don’t matter how bad these clowns takes are you fools keep watching this trash.
Are purdy fans this low IQ? Put Purdy on the Jaguars and Bears and he wouldn't be any better.
@@st.elmogeorge5403 Still don’t justify mentioning him he a rookie don’t matter how you put it 🤷🏿♂️ wins a team stat too btw & Caleb breaking records already both rookie , Bears & NFL lbs Don’t discredit him because you don’t like colin or Nick Wright opinion 🤷🏿♂️
Nick getting snippy with Ben Johnson’s “cute plays” is hilarious considering Andy Reid and Mahomes so heavily popularized them 😂
Nick's suit on point 👌
Keep cooking Nick.
My Cowherd New Year’s resolution
NO MORE OF THIS UNCLE BALONEY ‼️‼️
It's almost like Nick works on making his voice as annoying as possible. Can you imagine what it sounds like if he has to raise his voice? 😬
Colin ranked Baltimore 8, behind the rams. Neither of these guys are serious today
The amount of disrespect to the lions and the vikings (the best 2 teams in the NFC) on this show is ridiculous
As a Vikings fan I will determine if I like this comment after the packers game this week.
Purdy was a good story that isn't playing out to a good ending.
Peyton only played in the AFC
JJ definitely doesn't have more natural talent than Sam Darnold, just straight talent, no he does not.
I don't get the logic of "I hope your trick play bag is deep." Teams have to prepare for all these random trick plays the Lions have run, and on top of that you can be sure Ben Johnson has more ideas.
Not to mention that they don't even need the trick plays - just look at their offense, the stats, the advanced stats, the W/L column.
Media after fake fumble play: “What a great play. Why didn’t you save it for the playoffs?”
In the playoffs: “Lions are tempting fate again being cute. You ain’t playing the Bears in week 16”
People paying attention: "Not surprising to see the Lions in the Super Bowl, and all those national media guys who can't even be bothered to read the game story before commenting are clowns."
This is a dumb narrative about the vikings. Just franchise tag darnold let him play 1 more year and give jj another year to be fully healthy, then whether sam balled out again or not, the vikings will transition to jj
Correct answer unless Sam completely goes pumpkin mode in the playoffs.
Finally someone who isn't overreacting on Darnold.
Why would you assume that JJ is going to be even an average NFL QB. Other than winning with a ton of talent around him, I am highly skeptical that JJ will be even an average NFL QB.
@ because I trust in Kwesi and KOC’s process. If they don’t think JJ is or will be good enough, they will sign Darnold. It’s that simple.
@@gregrizzo8054 so you're just playing the hypothetical game 😅🙄
Darnold making Jackson a believer shows this isn't a fluke lol
Burrow and Chase are THE tandem in the league, Colin.
I don’t really get why I should be so concerned with Nick Wright’s opinion when you got guys like Hasselbeck, Mark Sanchez, Eric Mangini… people that actually played but good for him Im glad he’s getting some more exposure. No hate just curious. I listen to the podcast and always Skip the Hour that has him but to be fair I listened to him on Undisputed
Nick is entertaining, and usually right all things Chiefs.
@ so is one of my friends and just average joes though. Whats the difference?
Saying not pay Purdy but had no problem paying TLaw is crazy
Caleb gets all his yards and TDs after the game is already out of reach. It’s empty stats
Something they notice in other qbs like Dak or Kirk Cousins but not their golden boy somehow 😂
He's a rookie its different...he's learning
To be fair he running for his life every pass if you watch
@SEF660 usually because he held onto the football too long
If garbage time stats were so easy why don’t more rookies have these stats historically?
Can't wait for one of these that not one word about the chefs comes from Nick's mouth. 10 teams on the list, constantly talking the same one
Purdy is an accurate quarterback and a poised one too but I’d rather pay Darnold $30-35M a year for 2 years than pay Brock 50M+ a year for 4+ years
Nick, research is more important than your opinion.
That “stumblebum” trick play was used specifically for the Bears because they saw it could be utilized AGAINST THE BEARS.
I’m sure he has plays for other teams.
My stomach turns every time Hand Gruber Jr appears...clueless
"s" is right next to "d" on the keyboard, so I'm guessing typo. Of course it's Hans Gruber (from Die Hard ). But yeah, good call. It's a nice comp, a disfigured Hans Gruber.
Make Brock play out his rookie contract, he already wants top of the market anyway
Anyone who has eyes, can appreciate Sam Darnold has all the talent.... Talent doesn't always lead to wins though
If Brock doest get a contract I think he should hold out till at least 4 week of next yr f dat, he NEVER got paid I think he made like 5mill his entire career
He needs to play out his contract
Caleb has 1 td in the first quarter and 9 in the 4th and twice as many passing yards in the 4th
This was the year for him to show, before the season I said he should get paid. Just not 50 plus mil, he is not the difference maker but he sure helps the train run
thank you nick for highlighting ben Johnson wasting brilliant plays when he doesn't need to...
Need another season of this one or close too, from Sam D to $ more than 45 mil a year
And the very young 91-92 season Dallas Cowboys? What about them on your list Nick??!!!
Man, if only I could be wrong a lot, talk fast and have some solid media production. I could be rich!! 😂
Nick hates Purdy!
There’s a difference between building around a QB and missing 100m worth of production every week
What people don’t see yet with the packers is their one weakness this year, their pass rush, has become a strength and peaking at the right time
As a Niners hater, I would love for them to pay Purdy 😂 Purdyphiles are hilarious
What does Darnold look like under not perfect circumstances? Purdy’s criticism should apply to Darnold.
Bravo
what Nick is saying about the Chiefs, reminds me of how I speak about Real Madrid!
Dude has shanahan ever been coach of the year? He puts out these qb and running backs that get the highest playing level and are trash to the rest of league.
I know we're all supposed to hate the Chiefs but it's true, what they're doing is remarkable & enviable.
I’ve been saying this. Why draft Purdy when he isn’t a force multiplier. He needs too much around him for him to produce. They should draft another QB
This chiefs team has 0 chance to go down as an All TimebGreat team. All Time Great means you don't just win, you dominate.
The big reason the OG Dream Team is so highly regarded is because the rolled basically everyone by 40+. If they won half their games by last second 3's or opponents blowing open dunks, they would be remembered much less fondly.
That's an idiotic take... A win is a win. Especially if they 3 peat
Don’t be foolish. In 3-5 years no one’s going to remember the close regular season games of a roster that’s won 3 SBs (potentially 4 this year). For example, I guarantee you cant tell me the 2018 Patriots points differential without going to google. Bc no one cares. People just remember that team won a SB as part of the greatest dynasty ever.
You’re dreaming if you think a 2x straight champion team that opens 14-1, gets the 1 seed on the quest for a 3 peat, will not be remembered as all-time great. Lmao. Touch grass
@@chrissandell3283 the Chiefs point diff thru 15 games is 78. Thru 15 games, the 2018 Patriots point diff was… 64 🤣 yeah, you don’t remember. Why should you? It doesn’t matter..

They are all A and get the money!!
I feel bad for Allen and Mahomes who deserves 20% more than every other QBs but Dak???
I don't hate the Chiefs, but I have never had a stronger desire for them to be one and done than right now!
A Super Bowl loss in OT, followed by a losing season. Seems to be the MO for the Niners.
I’ve never seen a team get persecuted so much for so trick plays😭
Except I’m pretty sure Colin said, “Pay Dak!”
Whoa. Nick raided Sam Rothstein's closet.............and it's an upgrade. Nicely done Nick, just watch the ignition on the Caddi when you go home tonight.
If the Niners extend Purdy at top of market - the super team will not exist anymore, and the "perfect circumstance" will be gone forever.
Purdy needs to compromise and take around 35 million, if they offer that. He’s was fortunate to get drafted, given the job and like Nick says, have great players around him. CMC, KITTLE, WILLIAMS, AIYUK, DEEBO, WARNER
Nick is such a Chiefs homer...its comical.
how is that a bad thing?? exactly
Nick & Purdy gotta be Eskimo brothers or sum 😭😭😭😭
Nah, he hated Jimmy too. He has this weird hatred toward Niner QBs.
@@PeterDahu know who else has hated the Niner QBs? the Niners, since they keep getting rid of the ones they paid and traded up for lol
like it was just this biased "hate" towards Jimmy, and not entirely accurate commentary that he was an average QB in an above average situation..... and again guess who agreed, THE NINERS since they moved on and guess who was never remotely close to being good again, Jimmy G aka Nick was right, and Brock has been in the same situation
yall will go from a roster so good that it's almost QB proof to a completely league average roster with a very expensive QB who can't elevate the play of those around him, which is basically a proven non-Championship formula in the NFL🤷♂but whatever pal, you cheer for whatever you want, good luck in the coming years if they break the bank for Brock, just don't act surprised when they're consistently a 500 squad
@@mattcarberry368 Yeah and then they resigned Jimmy after seeing Lance and are lucky Purdy came along.
As always people like you get real salty because a guy does well. Makes no sense other than that person makes you insecure.
Been saying since mid season that the Chiefs have just been screwing around all season. Trying things out, experimenting and doing just enough to be sure to win games, saving their best stuff for the playoffs. They did this last year too. Chiefs are going back to the bowl
To call Purdys situation league average is a joke.
Let’s not act like the refs ain’t been playing for the chiefs all season
Didn’t purdy get absolutely crushed on that interception throw
Nick tends to drool while talking about Chiefs.
I texted a GM last night and he told me that Sam Darnold leaving the Vikings will be like an ugly divorce. Both parties will suffer. Sometimes you match with a person that otherwise would be beneath your standards, but still PERFECT for you. Darnold won't be this good for his next team and the Vikings won't have this record next year. The grass isn't always greener and sometimes perfect doesn't mean the most beautiful.
Packers above lions is dumb
How’s Green Bay at 4?
Didn’t even mention the only team to go undefeated and win the superbowl. The true greatest team of all time
Both of them will be wrong about Purdy.
JJ has more natural talent the same Darnold? No way
