Just a heads up for those who don't know, D'Brickashaw Ferguson inspired all of this. According to Keegan, Jordan was playing Madden and he came across D'Brickashaw Ferguson. He couldn't believe there was actually somebody named D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Keegan pointed out to him that compared to other names in the NFL, D'Brickashaw Ferguson might as well be John Smith. So the skit was born. . .

My favorite D'Brickeshaw Ferguson story is when a reporter asked him where his name came from, he said "Umm, Ferguson is just the family name."

I remember watching this live and having been a fan of the show I was stoked to see it during the Super Bowl. But when I started seeing real players I was hoping so bad to see Aaron Rodgers (knowing the substitute teach skit) and was fucking elated to see him pop up last. Good shit both Key and Peele. They are some of the most talented actors/comedians and then of course Peele with his directorial debut of Get Out being amazing was just the cherry on the top. Haven’t seen US yet but looks fucking awesome and again like something that’s never been done before horror/thriller wise so I’m stoked to watch it. Keep it up boys, miss your show but I also know you can’t do it forever and have it still hit and be funny. Glad you both had the foresight to not drive the show until it was dead. Go out on the top.
