Moses sent out 12 spies to promised land. Jesus sent out 12 Disciples. Moses needed God to feed thousands in the desert. Jesus feeds the thousands with bread and fish. Moses turned water into blood. Jesus water into wine. 400 years of slavery in Egypt. 400 years of silence until Jesus. Moses received the law. Jesus fulfilled it. I love this whole series. Love your channel.

      You've missing the biggest one.
      - Moses was 80 when he freed the jews from bondage of sin following the passover event of lamb's blood on the doorframes of the saved.
      - Jesus was at the 80th Jubilee when
he freed us from the bondage of slavery by bis death fulfilling the passover by becoming the lamb pf God who's blood covers us.
In the same way that following this the Israelites wandered for 40 years in the desert.
The church age will be 40 jubilee years of wandering - this is 2000 years from the crucifixion event. Conclusion we are almost there.

Hey Mike! Loved your video. Two more slight parallels come to mind: Moses wrote 5 great books and Jesus, at least according to Matthew, delivered 5 major discourses. Also, Jesus's body was not in his tomb and interestingly, it seems like people had a hard time finding Moses's body in his tomb (Deut 34:6). Vague connections perhaps, but fascinating nonetheless. Blessings!

Awesome teaching Mike! Of course, Jesus began explaining the pictures of Himself with Moses in Luke 24:27. Some would connect that to the Torah-Pentateuch in general, however, I think He really did begin with Moses, the person. John 12:24 is why. Moses followed the same pattern from Mount Sinai, through a death, and then back to Mount Sinai with great increase. It is a seed cycle. I call these roundtrips. I know others have called it a "roundtrip journey". They don't have to literally be a circle, but graphically that is how the Bible pattern works. Moses' roundtrip is one of the more complete examples that provides a great springboard off to other stories like comparing the Passover doors covered in blood with Noah's ark door covered in tree blood (pitch). Moses' roundtrip starts off like a lone seed up high near the heavens. Then he travels down low and confronts the power broker whose symbol of authority is a cobra. The first encounter is with the staff (all OT staffs picture some facet of the cross). Moses' staff become serpent like 2Cor 5:21 and Numbers 21:4-9 eats up all other serpents-staffs. The slavery situation is final made possible by the blood of the lamb. People go into a death provided them. They enter a first death, and escape the second death. Inside they put the dead lamb into them. This is John 14:20. We enter into Messiah's death. And then he is in us like the ate the lamb. We all must partake fully of that death. No leftovers! Then they make exit as one corporates Son according to Exodus 4:22. It is a many-membered Son picture like the church / ek-klesia / "called-out". Moses fell into the ground like a dying seed. Passover was the burial. When death came, all in the death provided were seen as dead already. Thus they came out of the dead with resurrection life. Even Exodus 12:33 literally says in Hebrew of what Egypt called themselves, "We dead" = "we are the dead". So, the One New Man rises out of the grave and returns to the starting point. The Aleph is the Tav. Also, Noah and Passover are complementary stories due to the covered doorways and other similarities. Ever wonder why Noah's ark comes to land exactly on 7/17? Have you ever adjusted that date by the change God made in Exodus 12:2? Clearly, Nisan was not the first month. it was the 7th month before Exodus 12 happened. We know that because of the current 7th month, Rosh Hashana, which used to be the old first month. I hope you see the significance. Mount Ararat means "Revered Curse" per Brown Driver Briggs. Noah's ark came to rest on Reversed Curse on 1/17 of the post-Exodus 12 calendar.... three days after Passover!

fascinating chat of comparing Moses to Jesus, Moses being a servant and Jesus being a son. Reminds me of the scriptures where it talks about believers being servants/slaves, but then friends, then sons
    John 15
14You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
(Romans 8:14) For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Jesus has disciples NOT ‘so - called’ christians
      A pagan term
      Coined by the same
Initially Jesus followers were referred to ‘ Followers of the Way’
Just as Moses was allowed to bring in the writ of divorce FOR the hardness of their hearts- which God HATES
      So too
Paul was allowed to use the term Christian for no less a DEEPER reason
      That’s Right!
      AND
Moses NEVER stuttered as defined as mans stuttering
      AND
No one SAW him kill the Hebrew whom he buried and was called out on
That was revelation given AND Gods providence
Those who are called into the prophetic ministry as a prophet/ ess / they have a different type of relation with Christ since it is in a league of its own AS Jesus was recognized as the Prophet - woman at the well- and was NEVER called out as such with any Ministry gift though He was ALL and had ALL gifts of the spirit ♥️👑🎼🙂

positions are NOT titles to be worn neither

Definitely, YHWH (otherwise Moses would not have married his wife Sipora--she knew about circumcision--, Sipora's father-Jethro- was that priest), I was busy with this question also until I saw Jethro and Melchizedek, the priest of The Most High. This helps us to see that the Bible is biased in the sense that it is the book about Christ which is the message of the scriptures. Other things though important, are not about Christ. Some people in the world worshipped The Most High God, given the examples of Jethro and Melchizedek being priests.

Concerning Moses and Jesus - there is a Rabbinic saying - from Moses till Moses (the Rambam a.k.a. Maimonides) none has arisen like Moses. This phrase was coined by a Rabbi (Rabbi Joseph Jabetz) during the Inquisition which was a time when many Jews were forced to convert to Catholicism and many Jews paid for their life because of this.
For many Jews, even though they may not know where this saying came from, it's enough for them just to know this saying for them to reject even just to think about Jesus being the Messiah.

MOSES AND JESUS (True meaning of cross)
(Please open the Holy Bible and read the undermentioned Biblical verses 'real time' to understand this write up better).
    1. Jesus' appearance prophecied as a prophet like Moses
    (Dt 18:17-18)
Moses' appearance, a parable/prophecy about Jesus' appearance 1500 years later.
    (Ac 3:20-22)
    2. Moses held up his hands ( prophecy)
    (Ex 17:8-13)
Jesus was lifted on the cross.(Fulfilled)
    (Jn 12:31-33)
    3. Parable of Bronze snake in the time of Moses and cross reverence.
    (Nu 21:4-6 and 7-9)
The misinterpretation/worship of the snake's idol for 800 years and solution thru the Passover.
    (2 Ki 18:3-4)
This prophecy was Fulfilled by Jesus Christ
    (Jn 3:14-15)
    4. Salvation only through blood of Jesus.
    Blood spilled on cross
    (Jn 19:34)
Our redemption thru blood, NOT thru cross.
    (Eph 1:7)
    Confirms St. Peter.
    (1 Pet 1:18-19)
The Israelites' deliverence was by the word of God in the time of Moses. Our salvation will be by the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ, NOT by reverence of a man-made object, Cross.
    Amen !

The history of Israel is a synopsis of the history of the world . I have had many accuse me of seeing Jesus everywhere in the OT. Most have reduced the OT to a collection of stories in which we draw object lessons to live our daily life. by the way, the parallel between Moses and Jesus is much larger than you are presenting it here, you should step back and take a look at the bigger picture.

Moses was up the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights and then he came down and judged and made them drink the ground powder of the calf. In the same way since Jesus died it has also been 40 jubilee years. (Jubilee years are once every 50 years) so if we multiply 40 by 50 we get 2000 so 40 jubilee years is equal to 2000 years. Which means we are on the cusp of his return. Then he will return and descend from the mount of olives and make everyone drink the wine of the wrath of God as it says in Rev 14:9-11. The Israelites were also in wilderness for 40 years. 40 years ie 40 jubilee years in our time.

No. Understanding of scripture especially the OT (Torah) is inspired by God Himself through The Holy Spirit. God's word cannot be changed, and anyone who has tried it has faced the consequences. This lie about the Bible being changed is a ploy by the enemy to prevent people from reading the word of God. Do you think God would allow anyone to tamper with His truth? God's word is alive and cannot be played with.

How can you speak of the Typology between Jesus and Moses and completely neglect to mention the two most important examples; The Manna and The Passover Sacrifice?
It’s intensional neglect. Just like choosing not to start the passage from the beginning where Jesus commended the disciples to drink the blood of the new covenant being referenced.
“Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew‬ ‭26:27-28‬)
How was it that the donkey is worth spending time mentioning, but the “Bread from Heaven” (Exodus 16:4) wasn’t?
This “bread which the Lord has given you to eat” (Exodus 16:15) was so important that God himself commanded them to place it before Him in the Tabernacle in the Holy of Holies (Exodus 16:32-34, Hebrews 9:4).
    The manna was so important that Jesus makes reference to it multiple times during the Bread of Life sermon in John 6;
Then Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.” (John‬ ‭6:32‬)
“I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (John‬ ‭: 48-51‬)
PLEASE look into the full typology between Jesus and Moses. It’s very important we read the entire scripture and in context. Picking and choosing passages that only support your argument is so dangerous. Please look deeper into this. There is so much that was left out.
Also, please note I write this out of love, not anger.
    Peace be with you!

I don't who told you that you're to look for Jesus in O.T, its insane, there is one Jesus and one Jesus story, there a few references to the coming messiah, son of man true, but to say moses was like Jesus is just rude to mosses ans rude to Jesus, they both lived very different lives, had different choices to make, Moses studied under Melchizedek well a scared book from his mother that was his teaching, she was a believer and so was Moses. You should respect the story of Moses and honor his life, yes there are some comparisons and similarities, but it's just that nothing more, the story of Moses is not for people to learn about the story of Jesus, that's an insult to Moses and tough choices he made. Or any other person who lived his life and did great things, these stories stand alone, and it shows that is the truth, when u are changing things making huge leaps it's just weird and it feels like you don't respect the old stories or their lives, no they were just written in here to show you Jesus, insane.

Expect Muhammad was not of Jewish descent as all prophets of old were, and Muhammad did not see the God, as Moses and Jesus did, which are the key points. By this logic, Alexander the Great or Caesar were more comparable to Moses, they were a leaders in peace and in war on the battlefield, had many wives, and spread their religion even making themselves gods, and taking great swaths of land from others. Just like Muhammad too, they bowed down to objects and kissed others.
