Would love to see some full length old time tune performances here, maybe with some guitar or fiddle backup even. An album of old time harmonica stuff on bandcamp would be more then welcome as well, great (new) old time harmonica recordings are in short supply right now
Oh wow! I dug up an old harmonica that someone gave me as a gift 25 years ago, was surfing TH-cam looking for (beginner) lessons, saw a bunch, mostly blues which I dig.. but.. I play old-time (clawhammer) banjo and your page feels like coming home!! It is a little advanced for me though, do you have any recommendations for resources for brand spanking new beginners that wanna learn old-time and country blues harmonica? Thank you!
and this th-cam.com/video/qc3x5_GYTMM/w-d-xo.html and if you like Bluegrass & Country I absolutely recommend my beginners course- harmonica-barge-store.sellfy.store/p/bluegrass-country-harmonica-level-1/
Great stuff Ed, you're right no one else is doing this ole timey stuff, you make it so fresh. Good use of the shaker, works well. You may have to include those baubells in the background next time,😁 keep going pal you're lesson's are so unique, in a good way obviously 😎👍
Hi Robert, the B section along with further techniques and tabs etc is available by following the link in the description to my Cindy In Depth lesson package. All the best. Ed

Plans for my weekend are now set! 😊
When you started belting out the lyrics at 7.20 I smiled very broadly. Great tune! Bit advanced for me right now but something to look forward to
Love your videos!
Thank you! all the best, Ed
Thank you soo much! I love your channel.! 😎
Glad you enjoy it!
Great one! I find this one easier on a Paddy Richter tuned harp since it allows me to avoid those bends on 3 draw.
yep! def go paddy if it helps and you like the style :)
Finally, Cindy, oh Cindy
sorry it took a while!! :)
