I went to this second day - was in the stand about 45deg round from where Moody hit it over the stand. It was the most incredible hit I have seen. It was clear he was a very big man, looking down on Graeme Hick.
Was at this final and remember Moody hitting the biggest six I have ever seen. You can't really tell in this video, but it went straight out of the ground. It was a twelve.
Mate you are posting some great stuff! I'm always on the lookout for footage of Hicky - my favourite player - especially 90s coverage. Cheers for this and hopefully you've got lots more to come.
Cheers again for uploading this Sean. Just wondering if by any chance you had the 1987 Natwest final where Hadlee, helped earlier by Rice, took Notts to victory in their final season in a match taken by rain into a second day?
Thanks very much for uploading this Sean. Do you have Lara's admirable 81 when conditions were at their worst, without which there would have been no real target?

Great Batting 💥💯
Hick and Moody were legends. Moody helped Australia win the late 90's world cup! Both were labelled unfairly as flat track bullies.
Hick didn't do much for England though did he with his first class record should have done so much better
“It might have been a twelve, it went so far!”
worcs legends
5:55 out of Lords.
its sad to watch this and ponder what might have been in international cricket
For Hick? Or Moody as well? (At test level because he did win two world cups in one day cricket)
was that c&a bag in the crowd at the 3rd minute?

rather be a pear than a bear
this partnership cost Warwickshire the grand slam

There's such sadness in Tony Lewis' voice - every time you hear him.
Was his soul broken by the public school cane or something?
He forgot to put his coat on the rack after getting his haircut when staying the weekend at a friends place after writing his letter home.
Moody is towering 6'7" ...but Hicks almost as bug as him!
