Well, I got the Lion too, because when the assembly shop was up, I have 900k exp for not using them at all. [ 9:11 ] Ghost shots, I'm often haunted by them too. Even when fully aim at a totally static tank, my shots often disappear without doing anything.
@@mikepette4422 thanks. Funny thing is that I couldn't get even 1st class medal, the best one was 2nd class. And in the 20th battle I did this 9k DMG and Ace Tanker. Also I checked the results of that battle, and I was a bit wrong. It wasn't 9.2k but 8991, so nearly 9k. I was rushing to kill TVP T50/51 at the end and I got killed instead. Anyway it's my best battle.

I agree I play WOT since 2012 not spending anything apart, that I bought STA-2 once. Game have developed so much and it its so much easier to play for free nowadays, I didin't played WOT for 2years I came back and got like 20days of premium, I got bonds from somewhere so I got 8 tier premium and so on, back in a days that would be considered p2w.
I enjoy seeing you play your free2play account, and putting yourself in so many of our shoes. What a game. A real encouragement for all of us plebs, to see what can be done even playing the game for free.
The lion is a pretty interesting tank, looks like an OF-40 turret. You know it would be cool if italy got the OF-40 instead of fake tanks, should be very similiar to the leopard 1
"looks like an OF-40", well yeah. Thats because it basically is. The Lion (IRL Leone) is a modification of the Italian Leopard 1A3, that Italy intended to exoprt (it is just a Leo 1A3 modified for the desert). The problem was though that Italy manufactured the Leo 1 with a license from Germany and thus any export of the tank would have to be approved by the Germans (who at the same time developed the Leo 2, and wanted to export it as well). Italy thus saw no possibility in exporting the Leone and had the tank (slightly) modified in order to circumvent Geman export requirements. The new Leone, without the German components, was renamed OF-40 and offered to international customers, seeing limited serial production of 34 units, all sold to the UAE and saw service untill 2014. In short: it is an OF-40 but with some German components. Also the 3d skin turns it into the OF-40 MK. 2 (with the AISHA-kit iirc)
My favorite thing is to ram kill ELC EVEN 90s in tech tree light tanks. Even if we lose, it's a good match and I save those replays. Goomba stomped one in my WZ-132 the other day. It was glorious.
Yeah although the Lion is technically a f2p tank, practically I wouldn't count it as such, since unless you play a lot WoT and never spend ur free XP on anything (like QB did), you don't really have a chance of getting this tank f2p. I play this game almost daily and I didn't get the Lion, because I don't want to play by WGs stupid rules where you have to hoard all your hard earned earnings to spend it on one single tank. I rather use my free xp to skip tanks/modules or convert it into crew xp when a conversion special is on offer. And this tank is so much easier to get if u are a paying player, since you can get a lot more free xp due to the premium account which gives additional 50% on xp earned. So any normal, casual f2p player will stand no chance in hell to get this tank. That's why I personally don't see this tank as f2p. But gg QB.
I’m a mostly free to play player, but things like food and larger amounts of gold rounds aren’t that costly if you only use them on certain tanks, like premiums or tier 10s
I save/use free xp for those tanks that are basically unplayable when stock so I can upgrade certain modules. Other than that I try not to use it unless I have to and I've never used it for anything other than researching modules/tanks or assembly shops.
That shot on the EBR probably barely missed but due to lag in real time and/or due to the replay using snapshots from a different server with a different tickrate, so the replay is not 100% accurate with the game server

This kind of explains why I always leaned towards auto loaders playing world of tanks lol. Besides being very fun burst enter clip reload can only be so good or so bad so in a way it’s an even playing field. WG isn’t going to make it bad inter-clip because no one would play it, and there’s no way to make it better so it has to be at least decent.

hhmm...SPOILER ALERT : I am so glad I was able to quit this addiction over a year ago (after over 10 years of gaming). I used to play WOT 4-7 h daily. it was bad on Wife & family. we (my family) once went into a trip with another family (friend) that I love a lot. the experience was supper real and good. when I came back home, I thought: " MAN...this game WOT is just a small narrow capsuled virtual sameness digging into my pocket and life compared to the action with my family & friend from the trip". Geeeee,...no more. call friends more often, get out more often. PLUS, what is the point of new players EVEN trying to start this game? we all tier XI play tier 2-4 some times. Makes no sense. Now I spend time more working around the house, my own gym, helping wife in the house, planning trips, etc. watching this vid above, gives me that "nausea" thinking: "REALLY?? Really?? absolutely nothing changed in 15 months.
This is why I play this way more than I play war thunder. That said im nit entirely free to play. Over the last 7 years i think i have done 3 of the holiday chest packs so i have a couple premiums. Dont maintain a premium account besides what comes during events and such.

So I like to play my E25. I have a 67% win rate in it (over 10k battles). I am 'good' in the tank. Last night I played 14 battles in it. I won 2. Yeah. MM said I was going to lose in every one of the games. MM "stacked" most/all the skill on the enemy time 14 battles in a row. Funny thing is, MM NEVER stacks the skill on my team 14 battles in a row. Never.
yeah yesterday was horific...i average around 3k wn8 now, but yesterday i had like 1k average in 12 games...dont remember a day so shite. Funny enough i still won like 40% of the games, while ive had days with 3k wn8 and 40% wins lol

I had several battles that QB would feature if he had a "heartbreak" series... One example. I had done a ton of upfront damage but died. Enemy team had an E24 with THREE (3) hp left. Our full health T71 rushed him AND DID NOT GET A SINGLE SHOT IN. All he had to do was stop, shoot, kill. But NOPE. He tried to 'circle'. Four more tanks would fail EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. Again, the E25 wasn't hiding, or sniping. They were withing 50 meters, out in the open. Not a god dam one of the FIVE teamates could manage to put a single shot into him. Oh, the E25 players was a 46% scrub player.
I love the lion its pretty fast good gun, auto loader, and can bounce some shots off its turret. I love the leopard but you not bouncing anything off it.
Is Lion worth suffering through stock tanks? I'd say not. Using 500k exp helps you unlock at least guns on like 7 tier IX vehicles. For me this is obvious that dozens of battles on each stock tier IX vehicle you have to suffer through will leave substantially worse enjoyment of my free time than having one slightly different, but not really OP tier X vehicle. Maybe when you're playing the game for 12 hours a day anyway and provide fun to people by playing stock tanks then it's bearable, but for people who barely find an hour a day to play any games you start to value your time - enjoying that hour is more important than having one extra tank, even if it's a bit different than all other tanks.
@Peter Bassey you had to 'pay' £225 for it and you had like 35s to decide at 7am .. you could make up all the '£225 gold' deficit in free xp, silver, various tokens but you had to be quick and it would gut most accounts and need a cash gold top up

Everyone complains how horrible FTP is. Even QB complains about it. I invite you to compare QB's 2 accounts last 1000 games WR. (P.S.) they are almost the same! Also QB WAY over handicaps himself on his FTP. FTP still gets enough free exp to not play stock yet he grinds stock. A FTP can get more credits by platooning and he NEVER platoons! A FTP can join a clan and get clan boosters for even more stuff and he is NOT in a clan! He has earned more then enough credits to run food in every game yet he does not. FTP has never been in a better place then it is right now in WoT and QB proves it every time he streams.

Last week I played a 9,7k damage game with the S. Conq. There was a 2600hp 215b left on the enemy team but he drowned himself 🤬

Doesnt it piss you off ? Not only that ghost shell (which sucks balls), but that there is such a small and hyper fast target and you have a gun that can screw you over even if you do everything right.... EBRs are just not fair game.
Everyone complains how horrible FTP is. Even QB complains about it. I invite you to compare QB's 2 accounts last 1000 games WR. (P.S.) they are almost the same! Also QB WAY over handicaps himself on his FTP. FTP still gets enough free exp to not play stock yet he grinds stock. A FTP can get more credits by platooning and he NEVER platoons! A FTP can join a clan and get clan boosters for even more stuff and he is NOT in a clan! He has earned more then enough credits to run food in every game yet he does not. FTP has never been in a better place then it is right now in WoT and QB proves it every time he streams.
