Thank you so much for showing this great mausoleum to people like myself outside of Ghana. My wife and I visited the the Ghana way back in 1994 when there was only the statute of Nkrumah in the area. I'm so happy that Nkrumah is being honored in this way as the father of Pan-Africanism and the first president. I read and studied Nkrumah's books as college student while also a member of the A-APRP. I hope to return to Ghana one day and see how much more the country has grown.

Ghana must sort out its sanitation, the plastic, the litter on the ground etc, they also must clean the beaches. This must be done not because of tourism but because Ghanaians like to live in clean places and if Ghana likes to live in a clean environment then it will also benefit tourism.

Bravoooo to all the brains behind what we are seeing and to me like this I will always choose a night site visit over a daytime to this beautiful place engulfed with much historical...so am humbly appealing to the management team to run 24/7 working hours for us and again also I suggest you go by E-Cash system of payment instead and that's, coming out with a unique card that should be sold out to all those who want to visit there at the banks, malls, and the security post right in front of the museum that we loaded some amount of money on it just like the Ez card where it would be swiping on...at the entrance, the boom payment is made and goes directly into the account. The monies shouldn't directly hit the hands of...cos I know my people la😂😂😂😂

Excellent work done by the government . The deputy minister stated a price of 50 cedis for tickets, but he failed to notice the minimum wage is 600 cedis per month. We should make it affordable for all Ghanaians hence it should be 10 cedis irrespective of your origin.

    • @Ahoto_papa_bi

Massa minimum wage is not 600. Anyone collecting 600 is a lazy person. If you are working and collecting 600 a month, stop working. Indomie sellers kraa are making 100+ a day in profit 😅

The ticketing price should remain the same for everyone. Whether foreign or local. Don't bring foolishness into this edifice . One price for everyone and should also be affordable for ordinary citizens. 5gh or 10gh should do it. Or 10gh for kids and 20gh for adults. Period! Remember, this should be affordable for every citizen. Please involve Samia Nkrumah in the day today administration

umm, all countries charge more for tourists. Stop feeling sorry and guilty and do what you should do- charge them 50 while the students in Ghana should be FREE. Black ppl must stop feeling guilty and start being business people, smart business people. For your people, it should not cost anything to pay respects to their former president. For tourists, they should pay for the privilege to visit the park.

We gained a quasi political independence only. Absolutely no economic independence, which is more important. Only the politicians enjoy their economic independence through looting the country's treasury and common wealth. Look, all the economic benchmarks and developmental aspirations mentioned in Nkrumah's speeches and statements have never been met. Not only that, Ghana is worse off than the period of immediate post independence. The irony of the country having to depend on loans or grants from a neo colonial institution , World Bank, to finance this project. Wisdom has always eluded our leaders. This is complete failure on all fronts, and I dare to conclude that independence was a reckless adventure.

I think Dankwa and Paa Grant are OK but Busia, I will say no. All the problems Ghana went through after the 1966 coup was the making of Busia. He came in as a enemy to Nkurumah. With his advice he directed NLC to sell almost all the factories, destroyed and banned everything about Nkurumah. Later deported all the foreigners especially Africans from Ghana in 1969. Destroyed free education from primary school to university ,brought tribalism and nepotism, started sacking people in state corporations who do not agree with him. Sally of GNTC was an example. Threatening judges who don't agree with him when he said "if judges want to play politics, he is ready to take them on".
