- Hi guys ! we use power banks to charge mobile devices when we are away from home or when there is a power cut. Also, a power bank can be used as a power backup system even for security cameras that operate with 5v. So, in this video, today we will talk about a power bank module that can be used to make a DIY power bank at low cost and how to make a power bank using the module.

Charging cut-off voltage: 4.2v/4.35v
Charging current: 2.4a
Boost output voltage: 5V ~ 5.15v line loss compensation
Boost output voltage ripple: 100mV
Boost output current: 2A
Boost conversion efficiency: 92.5% 3.6V input, 5v2a output
Battery static current: 30uA
--Function--
* When the load current is less than 50mA continuously, the output will be turned off.
* Support external key,
* When the charging current drops to 100mA the charging cycle will be automatically terminated.
* When the battery voltage drops below 4. 1V, the charging cycle starts again.
* When the battery voltage is lower than 2.8V, the battery will be pre charged at 180mA.
* It supports discharging while charging.

I have the same looking module, only the ic marked as "hotchip pb0063a"... when i use this module to charge 3x18650 batteries in parallel, charging current is not exceeding 0.3amp, although the used 5v adaptor can provide upto 2.4amp. Any idea what's going on here??

usb c port for charging . Usb A port for output . If you need usb c port for the output you can solder external usb C port to output soldering pads

No it’s only work with 4.5v-5.5v. But if you want to use it with 12V you have to use Buck converter module (step-down module)
