It is pretty hard for the crouching light punch specifically. My advice is to do the cr.LP as a down-forward +LP , move your thumb back to down then roll to forward and punch or kick again to get the cr.LP xx DP cleanly. Its rough though, so it will take some pratice.
Some G facts. Power up cannot be done off standing strong, forward, overhead, low short?, forward. The other attacks are fair game and you can do the extended power up even. . Jumping strong has the furthest reach. V-skill 1 in the air can eat 2 hit fireballs but it won't eat Ex class projectiles or CA type if I recall correctly. - Was unaware of the difference with his lv. 1 fireball frame data. Neato. Max level fireball lava splash is unstoppable except by maybe two moves and they both belong to Gill. Max level fireball is the only special move able to be cancelled into VT02. It offers a lot of time to power up fully. Despite the damage of his EX being equal to VT1, they are not necessarily the same. They have different properties. Wheel kick can break fireballs. Command grab is whack. Lv. 1 you can do 1 of 4 things (mid screen). Light high dash punch, ex low, critical art, or command fierce. Off ex grab you can opt for jab, medium or heavy dash punch. The latter has a special timing but gives you the most distance to power up fully. Lv. 2 you already showed the more optimal mid-screen combo. A fancy corner combo is use LK / MK wheel kick, fireball, stand HK. With ex grab his options are medium dash punch, followed by a medium low dash / ex dash punch (but that's two meter). Lv. 3 is pretty self explanatory. In the corner just delay the high dash punch so you can juggle with the low one after. Enlightening about the critical art add on. Got meter, better use it. Makes sense. Ex now does more damage but the window for follow ups is more generous than regular lv. 3. VT1 has since changed. I'll go leave a comment on some of my observations there instead. However, if one were to reminisce on his previous version, the conclusion is the same as his current form. If you combo into Ex dash punch and follow up with towards fierce into VT01, you then follow up with low dash punch into wheel kick (at scaled damage) but go into speech. One more command grab and you basically earn that lost meter to go into critical art. He truly is a powerhouse. VT1 v-skill startup eats two fireballs followed by a globe that has a durability of 3. Vskill 2 will provide armour but also use up a portion of your v-gauge. Unfortunately, during VT1 you cannot power up your level for after it wears off. What you are in is what you stay as afterwards. Thus making Vskill2 not as good since he loses a very controlling tool. VT1 can cancel off any of his ex specials (except command grab) VT2. Two shots of his uppercut, 3 attempts with the grab at most. The uppercut is high damage and stun and extends off any of his moves basically. The grab can be normal cancelled and hidden making it a powerful tool as well in terms of defense since it has 1 hit of armour. If you dizzy someone, make sure to taunt into his throw. Shake hands with . . . . PRESIDENT POWER! Classic ^_^ Combo: stand mp, micro stand mp, crouch mp > etc.

Typically the numpad notations are used in anime games and what i usually see in written text regarding SF is in the qcf, DP, etc, etc but that is a pretty cool idea, thank you.

Sux a nice guide! But i got crazy when i tried my self. Im new and i wasnt able to complete even the easiest C.MP XX DP LP. Then I came back and realized than u do a little tricks like start the C.MP the directions, and u dont finish the inputs and still works. A guide for that will save my Life!
G is not a grappler, he is a momentum-based character. Frame 12 command grab really sucks for speed, but damage is decent. He often relies on counter hits and launchers for damage and presidentiality. G’s big burst damage combos like dash punch into CA requires large amounts of recourses or is punishable if dropped. Command grab is good for punishes, don’t get me wrong, but it is quite unorthodox to use raw.
Even tho I hate G, I decided to take my love of Q and my hatred of my friend's Poison and decided to learn 'Annoying' G - I'm gonna gonna VS2 no matter what
He gets to keep lower version special moves at lv.C. Expanded combo routes. Main one to consider is max level grab and follow up with string dash punch and then roundhouse low dash punches. It can work in corner but you have to manually time the first punch. Most fun thing I found for him is base level ex grab routes in the corner are very damaging.
I am unsure how that would work, i think for the CC option it will show English subtitles and when i turn it on, for the most part it seems fairly accurate. I am not sure if someone added subtitles how would that work out logistically but i don't mind the idea if it helps people and we found a way to get it to work. Or do you mean subtitles to another language ?

You are right in that autosubs are mostly correct however I feel like actual subtitles (as opposed to auto generated) add a bit more to a video that is already of high quality. I’m not entirely sure how it works on the Creator side of things but i am fairly certain there is a way to “open” subtitles to the viewers and I believe the Creator decides whether they want to use or decline the viewer-created subtitles (i believe this is so people don’t put random words in hopes to be funny, i.e. trolls). Again, since I’m not a creator I’m not 100% sure if this is the case but i’d be interested in subbing if it is indeed true. Your content is some of the best out there 👍
Yeah, G is a bit hard to play, especially with all of the shoryuken motions. I been playing SF for years, and played G on the side casually since S3 but not in a very big capacity until i started working on this guide.
Lv.C he still has access to non ex equivalent specials which opens up different combo routes. Not a huge change but his command grab combo routes have been improved as a result. He’s also able to cancel from max lv moves into ex moves so he can get more damage. His VT1 changed as the lv he is in prior to activation influences how many shots of special he has access to. Overall buffed.
There are some changes and new combo routes but it is still mostly relevant. The big change is that when you are at max level, the heavy attacks will do the lvl 3 specials, while the mediums and lights will do level 2. So at level 3, you have access to level 2 and level 3 specials

A lot of grapplers have these problems, but G can do other things, such as fireball wars, whiff punishes, and aerial fights.
I’m just learning practice helps destroyed two opponents but the last few was annoying need more training to do thanks for the vid
