Mario Kart Arcade GP | Wii U Gameplay

This is gameplay of the first Mario Kart Arcade GP (2005) on the Wii U. Nintendo collaborated with Namco to develop Mario Kart games made specifically for Arcades, and this video shows off the first game in the Mario Kart sub-series. Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and 2 run on modified Gamecube hardware so it's possible to get them playable on a Wii or Wii U in which both consoles are capable of playing Gamecube games natively.

This is really cool! If you want a full-on Pac-Man racing game, you can probably also load the GC version of Pac-Man World Rally on there.

I recommend watching a TH-camr called “FunkyScott47” as his videos of modding the Wii U are how I was able to mod mine. I’d watch his video before going through the process just to familiarize yourself with it but I promise he should provide everything you need to mod. Thanks, I apologize for this but I don’t want to say where I got this from as you know how Nintendo can be with this stuff. I’ll say that Google is your friend and I use a program called UWUVCI for the menu stuff.

There's some good tutorials on how to get Gamecube games on Wii U. If you follow one of those tutorials and than google search the arcade games (such as the one I played in this video) you should be able to do this. I got the game on the menu using a program called UWUVCI to make the game appear on the Wii U menu.

It would be cool if Pac-Man was in a mainline Mario Kart game. I feel the same for Kirby and Captain Falcon where I think it’d be pretty cool to have them playable.
