66 years old. Had my first guitar lesson at 5. Play almost daily. Just don't have your feel. Play because I love the instrument. Loved your video......
Catherine! The TH-cam algorithm showed me this video (I’m a fellow ActiveMelody member) and I am SO blown away!!! Your feeling, expression, and phrasing is phenomenal, I can only aspire to be as skilled as you someday. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your compliment I love reverb 😊 as for the challenge it’s developed a tune using chords and embellish with them. I too truly enjoy Active Melody Thanks again !!
Cherish this.. I come from a very talented family on both sides, Aunts and uncles who are/were extremely talented in music and art.. When the oldest Uncle on my father's side passed, we found old reel to reel tapes from back when they were all young and would play instruments and sing as a family.. a very poor family who were very rich in love and talent. My sister had them all professionally transferred to digital, and flash drive copies made for all the cousins, along with old photos going back to the 30s and some home movies made long ago.. Anything which could be saved, was. It's all so nice to have and deeply appreciated
Sweet! I've been so scared of too much reverb, but your tone is so perfect. You make me want to practice. I love Active Melody. What was the challenge? Thank you!
Thanks for the compliment I’m using a Gibson 58 reissue 2018 with a Fender Bassbreaker 30r and Ventris Dual reverb……lol I love reverb thanks for watching 😊🇨🇦
@@Catherine_Arsenault That's a great minimalist setup! I have a '89 Standard that either has some neck bowing and or is giving me some intonation problems. If you make a video showing your gear, you will surely get some views. I clicked just because I saw your burst. Edit: I'm ALL ABOUT the neck pickup. It's got such a classy tone.
I'm familiar with Active Melody but not this challenge! Are the Pink Floyd licks intentionally a part of it, or did you add them? Either way, nice playing! Love Pink Floyd.
Hi, thank you very much. I appreciate you that you enjoyed it. I’m playing my guitar through a couple of reverb pedals and my amplifier is a fender base breaker. Thanks again. Cheers.
