Wow, you have 3300 miles on the car already. Good for you. My 2019 ZR1 has 2800 miles on it. Which is about 500 miles less than my 93 ZR-1 I sold a couple years back. Good to see you enjoying the car
Wow. Thanks Justin. I'm about to have to start figuring out the options on my new Z06 in the coming months. I will not be checking the box on any fancy GM lug nuts but will be checking the Paragon Ti lug nut box.
I would highly recommend these over the stock lugs. If you do buy them, please use the link in the description to get them from my site. It helps me out while also still getting them straight from Paragon!
Most titanium lug nuts I've seen have an open end which I really don't like but these ones check all the boxes! Do you have that companies contact info?
Justin, I have the Vossen lug nuts on my C8, because Paragon didn't have Titanium lugs at the time. Vossen uses 7075 cold-forged aluminum. They are for conical 60 degree lug seats only. That was my best choice at the time. For now I'm not worried as I'm pretty sure the 7075 aluminum doesn't rust. I also have 1 matching Vossen lock lug and 1 Conical lock lug by Advance Wheel locks. I have $12k wheels on my C8 and no one is stealing my wheels very easily, especially with a conical lock lug nut affixed to the wheel. All black lugs.
Nice! They sound pretty solid and that's great. I like these just because they are priced the same or slightly cheaper than the stock offering for the stock wheels.
Wow, crazy how bad some of the GM ones look already. Hopefully they are covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. I’m interested in what the dealer says. Either way, the Paragon ones are so much better. Have the dealer give you a new set and then just give them away lol.
They may corrode due to being in contact with dissimilar metals. Add rain water with contamination like salts and other conducting compounds, you might see corrosion.
I have an 22 GMC 1/2 ton truck. Five lug nut have swollen and the socket was stuck. Dealer #1 said yea moisture got in between the layers which caused the to swell. Said corrosion is not covered under my bumper warranty. New ones are $11.00 each. Dealer #2 said they should be covered, but bring it in to be sure. OMG
Thats the main difference between a Chevy and European cars! the Quality. For the price that Chevy wants for these cars its insane with the quality they give. Im glad i built my C7Z06 when I did. No mark up and Under MSRP.
I found really good lugs for the C7 too but they aren't titanium. I have these on my ZR1 and they've been good to go for years now with no rust! amzn.to/3NG2Skg
How can i make the pad play a track i imported without having to hold down the pad button? Havent figured it out yet, but it should be possible considering the samplepad noises from factory are able to play without holding the button down.
They won't. You should get the set I have on my ZR1, though. They aren't titanium but they are going on 5 years strong with no rust for me! amzn.to/41CIm9S
Shocking! Justin you’ve had your Z06 only 3 months and those expensive GM lugs are rusting. 😳 Titanium is better without doubt. Even in luxury watches makes a big difference titanium over stainless steel with weight. I hope GM refunds you on their crappy quality lugs 🤔
@@HorsePowerObsessedThank you so much. I am the one who advised you Pro-Clip is made in Sweden. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.) Good job on this video. Drive safe.

What do you think of the RUST on a brand new set of lug nuts? Prevent corrosion and get your titanium lug nuts here: bit.ly/4aFzXqC 👍👍
Love the fact that you're so particular I think OCD and supercar ownership go hand in hand. Keep up the good work
I totally agree. I take care of the things I own.

These things are meant to be enjoyed. My ZR1 has 16k on it.
Justin
I too have the factory black lug nuts, I will check and see if they are rusting !
Thanks for this information 👍
You’re very welcome! Even if they aren’t these ones are better in every way!

There’s a manufacturer in Pompano Beach Florida that does titanium lug nuts. They’ve been around for about 30 years.

I can’t believe the factory ones are rusting already. Titanium for the WIN!!

Love them. Wish they had them for the C7.
Agreed. My ZR1 will get them if/when they are available!
It's the little things that can make a big difference! I didn't know the OEM ones had a risk of showing rust till you brought it to my attention.
It’s unfortunate but this is actually the second set I’ve seen doing this (the other set was on a friends stingray) but both oem.
Got my set ordered ✌🏼
Thanks, man!!
Dude that’s a half a pound per wheel !!
That is significant. I will be buying these ASAP.
It really is crazy how much of a difference they make!

Your rides and your garage is bad ass. I’m jealous.
Thank you. Yours is pretty awesome, too man!!
@@HorsePowerObsessed thank you Sir.
Nice! And Paragon!! We love Paragon. ❤
Thanks, buddy!
Glad you got new nuts 😅
🤣🤣🤣
Ouch on the rust! Glad we could help dress up your beautiful Z06 even more.
I’m very glad you guys could help! I didn’t know such a product existed until I went searching and you guys were the first ones to pop up!
Paragon Performance to the rescue
100% They are killing it! I am so excited over lug nuts it's almost pathetic lol
Good catch, buddy ! That car is beautiful!!!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
I need them titanium (Silver) colored. Hopefully Paragon provides them soon.
Excellent catch.
Thank you very much!
They may corrode due to being in contact with dissimilar metals. Add rain water with contamination like salts and other conducting compounds, you might see corrosion.
I thought that, too but it's been over a month with some driving in between and nothing yet. I'll keep an eye on it and update as we go!
@@HorsePowerObsessed Roger that!
I have AC composite for my C7 and they are rusting. To their credit I emailed them and they sent me a new set
They have great customer service!
I need black lugs for my ZLE, and I believe these should fit!
Yup. If they are m14x1.5 and I believe they are so yes they'll fit!
They look more grey then black. Can you confirm they are black? And will they fit C7 Z06?
They are definitely black. Will not fit a c7.

Nice lug nuts. GM wanted 250 for the set of black lug nuts.
These are the same cost then. Might as well save the hassle and get the titanium ones instead.
The lugs from GM are painted and chip.
I need those for my C7 Z06!
I found really good lugs for the C7 too but they aren't titanium. I have these on my ZR1 and they've been good to go for years now with no rust! amzn.to/3NG2Skg
Best mod for c8 corvette
💯
Very nice Justin!!
Thank you!
Paragon comes through once again..
100%!
Hilarious! Any way to spend money on a Corvette. The airport

Do they sell locking lug nuts?
Justin, would those lug nuts fit a C7? We C7 Owner seem to be over looked now the C8 is out. Would mind a set for my C7 Z06. Thanks
They won't. You should get the set I have on my ZR1, though. They aren't titanium but they are going on 5 years strong with no rust for me! amzn.to/41CIm9S

These ones: amzn.to/3tpim5u
I have the regular chrome lug nuts I wonder if they have the same rust problem?
That's a good question. I haven't seen the chrome lugs rusting but I'm sure they could.
is that your z06? is that add on z07 package or did you order it like that
Yes it is mine. I added on the kit.

My thoughts exactly! I hope they do, too but honestly, I'm sticking with the titanium lugs anyway.
They come as a set so the set should have warranty
We'll know soon!
I ordered with your link was there a discount or just the price? I didn’t see or put in code
It fits the threads right?
What brand is that non-maring socket?

Oh my I’m ready to buy. Do you have a code
It comes straight from my site.
Do you drive in the rain?
I have, but not on purpose.
First
My man!!
Titanium lugnuts will not make a performance difference I have then on my stang. Buy them because they look good.
Any weight reduction is good for performance so small as this may be, it is still good for performance as well.
Imajine all the other rust on that car he cant see
Luckily, the car doesn't have much steel that can rust.
nice! But isnt the subframe snd undercarriage along with the frame holding the enjine steel?
