Also, since you're playing another ep, the dogs need food, the greenhouse needs lights along with stairs, and there's the prob of where the fam will actually live when Column leaves, hopefully not the rustic volcano lot where the game will place them. I'd hate to see that after all their work.....Just some details, haha.
honestly I think he needs to wait for Realm of Magic - the best way to make money in that pack would be make potions and sell them, but potions are glitched out right now so you can't do that (no word on when they're going to fix them). So I'd rather he waited until he can actually use realm of magic to make money

Brooke Bowen The home lot is off the grid, but not the retail store, which is where he’s playing. You can lock the doors off the grid too though, as far as I’m aware.
Hey James, really like what you did with the renovation but, you should use the Island Living Canopy Bed in the parent's room and when the series is over you should sell the retail store and then change the lot type back to residential and move the family there.

I dunno, I've been "Living" for this one, for a change of pace, and to see all the work "bear fruit" so to speak. 😏 To be fair, I'm not a huge Magic fan. I know semaJ will put his own twist on it, tho, so I'll be along for the ride. I wouldn't even mind seeing Column grow up a bit more, instead of blowing this Banana Stand forthwith. We've never seen a Bigwallet be the main character as a child, and actually witness the parting of ways when they grow up....

@@LivinInSim Though to be fair, at least the trait from the toddler skills is more likely to help with anything she'll need for magic. With the mental aspiration, I think it's just a boost to logic and mental skills. I don't know if that would help with being a spellcaster. Still, though.
@@lmcgiglez True, I haven't started thinking in RoM terms yet. There is a 20% boost to the Mental Skills, but I think Logic would be the only one that might help, yeah. I don't have the Pack yet. The Child Aspirations do take a big effort to complete, too, at least as much as the Toddler Skills, I'd say.
@@LivinInSim I wonder if gardening would count as a mental skill, since you get a boost when focused. That might also be useful. I think the childhood aspirations are a bit harder to complete than gaining the toddler one; you technically could max the toddler skills with minimal involvement of other sims. But I still find it amusing how focused he was on Column as a toddler compared to now.

Why don’t you move the house to the residential lot that’s near the volcano and make this lot just the banana stand so they’re not living on a retail lot?
If you leash the dog before they go for a walk they won’t leave the dog behind. The hitch is that you have to unleash the dog before your sim can do anything else.
That guy in the white coat wasn't a customer, he was just loitering. That's why the only option was to ask him to leave. I had that problem last night with one of my bathtubs. My Sims had used it just fine before, but all of a sudden they couldn't get into it so I replaced it with a different one and it was ok. I've really loved this LP!
Your issue with Banana and the bathtub might be a glitch from being a former mermaid. I had this issue after I had a mermaid change to human, she couldn't take a bath in any tub and when she had a weird jelly leg glitch (gross) when she swam or did a backfloat. I tried every tub, switched lots, and repaired the game and it still happened. Finally, I used MCCC to turn her back into a mermaid and then back to human, and viola! no more weird glitches with tubs or swimming.
James - Absolutely LOVING the later stage of this series. Thank you for taking the time to round it off and wrap up nicely! I never understood where the name Ticket came from or the meaning behind it. Does anyone have insight into this? ❤️
Okay, I had a semi-similar bug today while I was playing one of my households today -- I was having a weenie roast (ungoaled, thankfully, as it was Talk Like A Pirate Day), and while my Sims could gather around the fire, and add logs, and all that, they couldn't actually roast weenies! Or anything else, for that matter. Very frustrating. I haven't tried having them take a bath yet. . .ugh, and I don't even have Realm of Magic yet, I'm just on the latest patch. *grumps* More bugs than it solves, I swear. . . On a brighter note, typical James, obsessing over making a proper stand out of buy-debug items for his random bits of furniture he's selling. XD I'm sure the customers really appreciated the awning. And the frame for the lights. XD Still, though, can't say we're not making money! A few more lights sold, a couple more pie slices, and the final bits and pieces of the house should be complete! Looking forward to it. Let's send Banana and family off in style. :)

I'm surprised til this day how Column was not taken by social services when her dad was locked out of the shack... ROM has some bad bugs especially the bugs with the potions being worth $0 and so many townies walking into the magic realm and becoming spell-casters. It would be nice if you were able to get to riches through selling potions and tomes. Also, imagine playing with Column in the magic realm only to see her parents hanging out in the in the realm or her distant family members....Please EA fix it. The whole bath thing happened to me today too! I thought the bathroom was just too small for a bath but I also knew that I was able to bathe toddlers in it so it seemed weird. I think the game is confused about sims that were mermaids but aren't anymore and kids that are technically mermaids but don't grow a tail (for some reason they get that ability when they become teens).

He was actually selling him something at the time, that's why that was the option. Loiters can both be interacted with, and buy items.
