I changed all my brakes to CIP1 disks and steel braded lines. I even got the German made master for them too. Drums are heavy and complicated, but those disk conversions (with parking brake) were super simple to install. Even the bearing races were easy to install even without a press... just used a big socket and a small hammer. I went with the 5x4.75 Chevy Lug pattern too. I'm curious why stick with drums in the rear though...
Wow the Everesto boys are serious with the r and d. All of the components I’ve seen you install from them on the Beetle and now the Auto Union look extremely well engineered and well built.
I just want to know how the bug rides with the front torsion bars removed.. i know if u remove a few torsion bars to lower it, it rides horrible...what did u do with the grub screws the ones that come to a point with a alien key hole to tighten
The engineering in the front and rear kits and that they are bolt in are absolutely fantastic! See you in a week for Riverside!
Can’t wait man!

Saw the title and thought you were putting bags and disc's on my Vdub before I win it 😂🤞🏻
Dust excluder! 😂 Man you got to do a shirt with listing the dumbed down names on one side and the exclusive Ludwick specifics on the other!
😂😂😂😂
I'd love to get an Evaresto setup on my 73. So clean and well designed.
They really are!!
I'm all about the Auto Union content! Loving your work!

That pan is looking gooooood!
Thanks man!
@@JohnLudwick Will you be at Riverside in a week and a half? Trying to get the 122 2 door approved for show.
Nice setup! I hadn't seen a front end bag build like this one before.
New to the channel, your builds are so cool. 😎
Bad location for those calipers. I wonder if the ball joint front end uses the same location?
I’m not sure! Agreed, not an ideal location!
This is going to be awesome!
Thanks Alex!
For the rear bearings just add 2rs for rubber seals or zz for metal seals to the end of the part no.
