    Which do you like better - the skinny feet or the fat feet?

    hi Christa I'm 73 and watch you every day!!!! Giving you a big thumbs up. I'jve mastered in sewing and sculpting most of my life. If I were to attach just the feet..Id use gorilla glue . ..Probably will once I try to make the child's feet myself out of wood or sculpy. BTW Yodette is adorable. I'll send you a photo of my already modified Grogu. Carry on the god work ...Roxy

    It's great that it fits so tight, because that means they are not just going to fall off when you pick him up.

    Those stumps are the perfect length !
    And the chubby feet are more proportional
    With the hands !
    The stumps and feet keep the overall proportions of the baby as seen on the show !
    Just fantastic !

    • @SeeRad
      @SeeRad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The one thing I forgot to mention in the video was while I like the length, I feel the feet are too far apart and point in weird directions.

    • @kahunadad
      @kahunadad 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SeeRad you can adjust the direction easily by nipping the zip ties with a nail clippers, and rotating them in . And don't cinch down the new zip ties as tight and they will be able to rotate all the time for different poses.

    • @SeeRad
      @SeeRad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kahunadad the legs are a little far apart

    • @kahunadad
      @kahunadad 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SeeRad that one is way more tricky Krista...with the base of the doll being as wide as it is, to bring the legs closer together, you would need to narrow the bottom to bring in the hips...or he'd have gigantic Charro hips. Then you might as well get a new body.

    Velcro maybe? I just got a Mattel baby yoda plush and I made him feet out of polymer clay. I am planning on super/hot glueing Velcro onto the feet and attaching it to my little green bean.

    I enjoy your video . I like the idea of adding legs and feet in the form of pants . In another video you had a jointed body you added baby Yoda’s head,hands to . Where can I buy that from ? Much thanks for your great videos .

    I made a skeleton out of wire and gonna drill a litle hole in the center of the feet. I made 2 litle holes where the whire comes out for his feet. Had to replace the head with the wire going in. Now the arms are also movable ;-)

    You know you can match the green legs to match his lighter color easily as well. It is just as easy as matching the white ones. Probably takes less layers too.

    I added polymerclay feeties to a size 3 pamper with a little bit of packing tape. I didn't want to cut into the original Plush doll body either. My daughter handcrafted the custom made feeties from polymerclay.

    PS could you please put the pants with feet and the poles and stumps on them with a coverall/sleeper suit? I'm not sure what size to get that would fit baby clothes. :)
    I have made my new one with a full cuddle body and he's beautiful. :)
    The original one was made by just stuffing baby pants with feet, his hands look a bit short though. He fits in a size 000/0000/newborn to 3 months. :) I didn't want to take the first doll's hands and head off.

    Make you some little green circles for each foot you want to attach to the body. Then cut a small slit in each circle big enough for the foot to fit through but fit snuggle then get a tie wrap and put it around like you normally would, and snip it then sew the remaining fabric onto the body of the baby yoda. You could do a more neat and pretty version but if you don't sew this is the best way to do it. Also instead of sewing you could do this with a glue gun or some Aleene's tacky glue and let it dry for 24 hours. Aleene's has some really good glue.

    Maybe you could use the torso leg parts you have. Maybe you could cut the material down on the legs to make them as short as possible, then add those plastic zip ties to each of them. Then add the feet and that should be it.

    • @SeeRad
      @SeeRad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would work, but alas, I am not good with sewing and that needs to be done to add the zip ties.

    • @cynthiahowe8697

      @@dannycomellas I would make a casing with the bias tape and run a cord through the casing and tie it around the foot, then hand sew the bias tape to the bottom of the doll.

    If you just want to add the feet two baby Yoda Mattel how about magnets glue a magnet onto the bottom of baby Yoda and then glue a magnet in the feet that way you can take them off if you don't like them or you can change the feet

    • @SeeRad
      @SeeRad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Super strong magnets might work, but I would still be afraid of the feet flying off.
