That's interesting and a lot faster than the 6502s we used in our products. We did finally get some that executed all instructions in one cycle. It used to take up to 5 or 6 cycles for certain instructions, like LDA (indrerect),Y.

    Nice video. Couple of comments
The gamepad does work, and should work transparently. There is an API function which reads the gamepad, if there isn't one plugged in it defaults to the keyboard.
The sound is currently very basic, square wave beeps, but we do have working code which is currently being integrated which will be an emulation of an AY-3-8910 3 channel PSG (as in many consoles and computers of that era ; I think the last to use it was the Atari ST). It may be extended to have more channels, not sure :)
We can do arbitrary sample wave forms, but we don't have enough memory to store them. The machine only has 264k of RAM ; 70k of that goes on the display, 64k on the 6502, and about 32k is used to store graphic assets.
    I'll fix Frogger :)

    Thanks for the great video!
Regarding the Breaker game, I remember we used Paddles devices that had a very big knob and a potentiometer inside. Paddles are super cool to play this game. Do you know of any model I can buy and attach to Neo6502 for this purpose?
    Thanks!

Anything which can generate a variable voltage, so you can use a potentiometer. Neo6502 has a UEXT port and several of the pins can be used as analogue inputs.

Cool video. Where can one read/learn about NeoBasic ? Do you know of any tutorial for people familiar with other Basic dialects ?

Best starting point at the current time is probably www.neo6502.com/
For basic: github.com/paulscottrobson/neo6502-firmware/blob/main/documents/release/basic.pdf is the only resource I know if. Life is spartan at the bleeding edge :-)

Aside from the BASIC pdf in the release zip there are many example programs which illustrate the differences between NeoBasic and standard BASIC, which are not as extensive as it looks. GOTO and GOSUB still work if you really want them.

I don't use a separate hub. I use a keyboard with a build in hub (the one that came with my dual 2.0 GHz G5 Mac).

Is there an Compiler that one could use on the device or send to the device as one is writing something?
