The Rap battles as a whole seem irrelevant. The goal is to find a break out hip-hop star, not the best rapper in general. They should replace it with something else in the second season.

General AjAx I heard the beats are owned by Netflix. Old man Saxon has this song on his TH-cam but on a different beat. I guess Netflix makes them choose from a list of beats. Haven’t double checked but someone said this beat was used by another rapper in the show as well so you can tell it’s not old man Saxon’s.

They NEED to put him back in on Season 2. The judges made a big mistake in the pairing and that robbed him. But old man was nothing less than Top 5.

I remember seeing this dude Old Man Saxon spitting bars live on Periscope and talking about what his life was like being homeless and living out of his car working as a chef. All the artist had to choose between 50 beats when we did our auditions. They were all beats made for the show so i dont think they exist anywhere outside of the show

Actually they wanted to keep both it looked like a quick decision but in reality it took like 20 mins because they brought lawyers out to see if they can keep both. I wish they could've kept them both too

@@roxannemua9350 Yeah, there is a Rhythm + Flow: The After Show on youtube and they've come out every Friday since the show started on Netflix October 8th. It's pretty cool. I also recommend checking out other stuff too. Flawless even mentioned in one of his streams that he really didn't want to battle Beanz in the rap battles. He was angry and upset, plus he knew they were both good and shouldn't be sent home.

They tried to keep both Dsmoke and Saxon, but the lawyers said that the way the rules were written that they had to eliminate one of them. Otherwise, the other contestants could have grounds to sue.
