It's funny, looking back at how ruthlessly he ribbed Letterman for his infidelities, I think Chris absolutely should have went with an "August" joke at the Oscars this year. He gets on my nerves occasionally, etc., but he makes me laugh more often than not, and he gets a lot of respect from me.
I really dig how sometimes when he's goin in on someone, he's just cackling at their responses and you can see he finds the whole thing hilarious. I guess it just makes it funnier because he's fully committed to the bit? He's so quick too. I didn't really get in to comedy until a little while back and it was only after I saw Chris Rock on Louie and in Dogma that I realised what a legend he was. So happy I get to enjoy his work now.
