I guess this is the closest we can get to a happy ending with this situation, at least Mafuyu finally stood up to her poor excuse of a mother. Mafuyu isn't totally free but this is a significant step for her and she can finally begin to heal now that she's away from the person that's hurting her the most.

I noticed around Bug/Samsa events especially that although Mafuyu is still far from feeling good, and she’s still hiding herself from other people; she wasn’t the numb, emotionless person that couldn’t even choose an order on a menu herself without being influenced by others anymore. After her computer was taken away, she was terrified and worried for her future and Niigo’s- when a few months before she may have just let it happen, her hopelessness getting worse. The development between the main story and now is insane. Her time with Niigo has helped her build a still weak but noticeable identity for herself, whether or not she’s realized that. It’s just that since the rest of her life still sucks hard, most of her feelings aren’t good ones, but they still matter and they still show her progress. Hopefully now that she’s away from her mother, she can start to really explore who she is and be herself even outside of Niigo and music- and when she gets to that point, I think she’ll have finally achieved the good life she very much deserves.
Now just imagine if Honami came to Kanade's house and see Kanade's friend literally having mental breakdown. Honami would probably be confused but she'll probably just serve them some hot chocolate and comfort Mafufu🥺🥺🥺

I had a similar experience with my mom and a friend a few months ago. I stayed overnight at her house but I had to go back the next day. This whole event really hurts my heart due to how much I relate to it, I just hope Mafuyu can finally be free of her shitty excuse if a mom and heal.

I had a similar experience with my mom and a friend a few months ago. I stayed overnight at her house but I had to go back the next day. This whole event really hurts my heart due to how much I relate to it, I just hope Mafuyu can finally be free of her shitty excuse if a mom and heal.
