Greg, please don’t be embarrassed or afraid to let the tears flow. I’d have to say that most who watch this video are sobbing by the end. I know I do each time I watch it. I’m 70 now and I often reflect back on times spent with family as my Mom showed us how to enjoy the outdoors, nature and my love of animals came from her. She died in 1998 and all of my aunts and uncles are gone as well. I have such wonderful memories of my childhood and I definitely wish I had a pause button to get those cherished 5 more minutes. Great reaction!
Scotty was the youngest winner of American idol. He put his music on hold and graduated college, got married, and now has a little one. Glad he's making music and touring.
I'm glad you didnt apologize for showing how that song made you really think and get emotional. Everyone always says "I'm sorry I tried to keep cool." The song is pretty good and then the last verse slaps you in the face and makes you think.
Scotty was 16 when he auditioned for American Idol & won it's 10th season. Talented guy. Lots of great music. My fav is the song he wrote for his wedding 'This is it' & the video has clips of their wedding. So special.
I'm right there with you man. I'm about to be 43, met my wife in high school, my boys be 18 and 21 this year, I've lost both my parents over the last 12 years, lost my Grandmother a few months ago, all the great memories are in the past. I listen to this song from time to time and each time I wish I had five more minutes more and more. Songs and lyrics defiantly hit harder with each passing day. Hold onto the good times and the great memories because at the end of the day it's all we have. Great real raw emotional reaction.
I totally agree and understand Greg, last October I lost my little brother to cancer 😢, I often wish I could have five more minutes with him, to make sure he knows how much I love him and how much he impacted my life. I still look at my phone for his text message and I won't ever remove his number 😢 Love your channel, you are impacting lives too!
My grandfather passing was easily the worst day of my life. I appreciate your heartfelt reaction to this because I reacted the same way myself to this video. Just know in your heart that they knew how much you loved them back.
When my grandpa was dying and I didn't get a chance to tell him thank you for helping me and my family when we lost everything and would have been homeless.. if he didn't allow us to stay in the trailer in the yard. I hate that I went to the store instead cause I was embarrassed about crying. If you've got something to say to someone. Say it. This song makes me cry every time I hear it. So you ain't the only one fighting back tears on this one.
Don't be embarrassed as we all wish we could have had 5 more minutes for whatever reasons ... lost one, past events, known friends who've moved on, retiring from a job that one loved, etc. Yep, Scott can really bring one to tears with this one. Great reaction.
This song came out right about the time all my childhood friends were moving all across the country after college, while I was staying local to our hometown working the town EMS agency. Definitely brings me back every time I hear it, especially now that a few of those buddies have lost their lives. Would do anything for 5 more minutes with them
Never be embarrassed to show emotion. It means you have a heart and care about those you love. I lost it half way through the song myself. Lost the man I call dad this past October. I wish I could have at least five more minutes with him. Great reaction to such a powerful song.
I’m right there with you. I wish I had 5 more minutes with my husband that passed away 9 months ago. This song really resonates with anyone that has lost a loved one.
I wish I had 5 more minutes with my parents! Just 5 more minutes......love this song. Your reaction is great...I cried just like you Gregg...Thinking about my Mom and Dad...
It’s nearing 17 years since I lost my grandfather. He was my everything. To this day, I still break down and cry whenever something arises that I know he would have the answer to. How much I wish I could have 5 more minutes with him ❤
That's what good music does man, it makes you feel it.. Country music especially knows how to make you feel a certain type of way and trust me, it happens to everyone who, like you said, have had those situations. wish you the best man and looking forward to the next video.
I have loved your reactions since day 1, because you are an honest, humble, family man...who happens to be from my favorite State. My dad was one of 8, from Baton Rouge, most of my huge extended family are spread out from Baton Rouge to Lafayette to LA Place, and a whole lot in Enis💜💛🖤💛!! Let's Geaux Greg!!!!
Bless your heart...I feel the same way. I'm 53 years old and miss my grandparents every single day. I was extremely close to them and still even at my age feel lost without them sometimes. Love and hugs to you!
It's Father's Day and watching this just brought back memories of my dad. He has been gone over 35 years, died unexpectedly of a ruptured pancreas, and I still wish I had had "just 5 more minutes". Crying again. Your reaction was genuine and heart-felt. Appreciate that.
I know how that feels. All my grandparents are gone and my daddy's health is failing. Don't feel bad about the tears Greg. They are what make us caring, compassionate human beings. Much love my friend.

I feel you so much man! I lost my Daddy when I was 26. Messed me up big time. I'd give ANYTHING for 5 more minutes with him. Just to talk about nothing special. Praise Jesus though! I know I'm gonna see him again!! I've still got things to do here and I can't rush it but I know that reunion is coming one day! If I doubt anything in the scriptures it is that there shall be no more tears in heaven. I just can't see how tears of JOY won't be shed on homecoming day! 💙😇💙
This song kills me every time. Its a beautiful song. I remember all the times my dad and i would spend time together, id always ask for 5 more minutes cause i didnt want it to end so soon. 15 years ago this july 4th, 2024 marked 15 years. He passed of breast cancer and it destroyed my mom and i.. if i had a remote or a time machine I'd go back and see his smilin face, his laugh, his voice and singin.. id play the acoustic beaide him. Id tell him everyday that i loved him more than i used to back then. Same with my momma, she'll be hone 10 years sep. 7th this year. 10 days away. Still feels like yesterday they were there talkin.. it hurts like hell that they're gone.. beo, my advice, dont let the emotions build up, cause it doesnt help. I feel your pain in your voice when you spoke man. You disnt have to say anything at the end in your silence, for your silence before grabbin them tissues, they said everything needed to say. We all whom feel this pain are with you 💪🤘
Greg, like others have said, please don’t feel at all embarrassed for your emotions. How can anyone not get emotional when listening to a great song that talks about wishing for more time with someone they loved who is gone now. God Bless you. 💕💕
I've heard this before. I think this is the first time I really listened to it. I stood on the field with my son hugging him after his last football game. He graduated last year. I have more "sons" that I coached in rec and middle school that are graduating this year. Lost my father in law and my brother last year. This song is hitting harder today. That's why we have to thank the Good Lord for every minute He gives us and never take anything for granted.
It's alright Bruv. That you can cry at just the thought of them means they meant the world to you. That they still have a place in your heart. It's good that the song brought that out.
I appreciate your reaction to this so much. Music can bring us all together. We all have regrets and wish for 're-do's' or 'playbacks' to give us more time. Trying to learn to live and cherish each day is a hard lesson, but one I'm striving to learn. Scotty reached all of us.

Too many people talk about "white music and Black music " and I think you show that if you open your mind , slow down and listen some music will touch anyone who takes the time to listen. I think you do a great job of showing our styles may be different but we are all pretty much the same.

🥺🥺🥺🥹🥹🥹this genuine reaction is beautiful
Time is relative. Place your hand over a hot flame for 5 seconds and it feels like forever. Hold hands with a pretty girl for an hour and it feels like a blink of an eye.
Thank you for your real reaction , I was right there with you.
Thanks Handsome - I love that you listen, really listen.
I would give anything for 5 more minute with my mom.. even after almost 10 yrs it still hurts so bad sometimes and i end up watching these reactions
One of your better reviews my friend, this is what it is all about, how music impacts, how it makes you feel and probably most importantly, how it makes you reflect on yourself, life and the people around you.
This song hits hard. I enjoy watching your videos they are pure and heart felt.
Hit me the same way. We all human and we have all lost someone that we wish was still here. Good that you can express it.
