Hopefully the game will live up to expectations, lately it hasn't been a long time coming. Bethesda has lowered its quality or is still in the past with its engine

i think they should focus more on engine stability over graphics, because don't get me wrong starfield's graphics were improved, but this didn't mean it made the game any better, to me they prioritized on the wrong things first before anything else.
i'm cool with the engine upgrades, but it seems they still have not fixed engine issues that have been in the kit for over the last 20 years of them using that engine.
i understand the reasons why they want to stick with the creation engine as it's the most modifiable engine out there to date, and if given enough time and polish, the games they make can become something amazing, but they have to be willing to use other programs and implement their own versions of these tools within their own engine to properly compete with other engines.
i think most players likely wouldn't cope very well if bethesda stopped using the creation engine simply for the modding altogether, because there is always something someone can add to the game that can revolutionize the game in some way through the modding scene over what bethesda has on offer, bethesda seem to stick with the foundation of what's possible in their engine and try and make the game good enough to get ppl excited for the game and then allow modders to want to build onto the same idea to transform the game into something else that everyone will love.
but they also do it for greedy reasons as well, the creation kit is a resource for unlimited potential of modding which also means they have a potential tool for unlimited money printing when ppl purchase mods in that system., and that's why they will never give it up.
however i have heard recently that bethesda will use two separate engines with the remake or remaster they are planning for Oblivion, Unreal and the creation engine, the Unreal will mostly be used to make the game look much better and everything else will be in the creation engine.
i still feel this is focusing on the wrong things, but i have no say in this either way so, meh....

I think biggest problem for TES6 is existence of ESO, because there, we have som many regions all over the Tamriel. If they pick any region/province for TES6, they have already set geography, of course they can change it for singleplayer purposes, but basics are set in stone (for many Elder scrolls fans, that just grabbed ESO as singleplayer experience with other players)
When they do some totally different map, they will canibalize ESO, making it non canon or something, they cannot do that now, after 10 years of game existence.
They brought that on them themselves.

@fizola88 That's true, I've played ESO and it's the most complete Elder Scrolls game in terms of content, it's going to be an issue because it has several areas that we hadn't seen before, just remember that ESO is set thousands of years before Oblivion so there may be slight changes, this can be seen if you compare the Skyrim area of ESO with the same game and if there are differences due to the time. They could go to areas we don't know like the Akaviri

@@ElGueroCrazy6 Well ofc, there can be changes, mostly with cities, towns, villages, and stuff that can be built and rebuilt. But mountain ranges, rivers and so on is basically set in stone now. Only scale can vary, so relatively small zone in ESO can be giant in TES6 (like Skyrim zones in ESO)

@fizola88 true but not many people play ESO, most of them for the simple fact that it is an MMORPG, but I do understand how it can make development difficult but it could also be supported by that, in theory Elder Scrolls 6 should have better graphics and details than ESO, We'll have to wait and see if they deign to present it in the future, otherwise it will disappoint like Starfield.
