If you haven't yet do it. I have started collecting and buying any and all nes games I think look fun. Prices are falling and it's been so good for getting me to relax, I now have over 250 cartridges and wish I was a kid and could ask people to come and play with me. 😂
Damn shame I never beat this game, but worth it to see it again. The music always had me pumped for a fight. Thanks and keep the dream alive. I always prefer the missiles more.

My thing is with this genre is that back in 1988 I remember seeing an ad for Abadox "Deadly Inner Alien War" in a comic but the game never came out in suck ass Australia back then. Yet I briefly played Burai Fighter in 1990 because it came out here in my once local mall, tried to look for it when I finally got my NES but no avail. In 1993 I found a copy of Section Z which I never knew that came out here either yet I loved it. Wish these "One Man In Space Fighting Alien Hordes" genre would come back?!...

With the Dragon boss, heart pumping fight, I've learned to love Dragons. Now I love every Dragon game. This is one of my best games in my collection of 300 NINTENDO games !!! Then Dragon Age games !!! Specially Dragon Age Inquisition. But also Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2. This game brought out my Dragon Love ! I love this boss battle. My father was worried for an heart attack ! Pappa, this is gaming !!! My heart bounces at 200%. And then I cried ! I've destroyed a dragon ! I felt so sad ! My love for Dragons did come ! Buying T-shirts, Dragon Statues, .... This game had an impact on my life ! 10/10
This old school RETRO game of Nintendo, is just AMAZING !!! What a beautifull dragon, as END-Boss. I had as kid almost a heart-attack, fighting this boss. My dad went crazy ! I told him, this is natural when Playing Nintendo games, hahahhah
Me too, i was playing this game in 1999, and i remember it well that i could surpass this cyber worm creature! but all after that, i lost. But the fact that i surpassed these first levels as a 9 years old little girl, surprises me. When i watch it now how hard that game actually is!
This game used to be REALLY hard and you make it look like a piece of cake. I wonder why you stuck with the Laser, though. Imo the best weapon is Ring.
Shooting in four directions os handy for enemies on both sides of you and it can hit multiple weak spots because of how far they are separated. But there's no wrong weapon to use. It's preference like Gradius.
