- This was an incredible State of Mind for many reasons. First, Stephen A. and I have a really deep connection, he's like a brother to me. We talk about Rihanna, Beyonce, sports, Daron Hammond and of course mental health. Stephen is raw and open about the loss of his brother and his dear mother. We enjoyed catching up on one of my favorites, boxing. Stephen A. is a straight shooter, always tells it like it is-from his heart.

Brick is the most natural, intriguing character on GH. The friendship between Sonny and Brick is real.
Love when Brick is on. Hope they give him more time but he is so busy, it would have to be difficult to fit it all in.❤️
Stephen A. is the EPITOME of eloquent. I could listen to this man talk about anything. So few people have that gift.

I sure do enjoy Dtate of Mind Sonny's illness is undercontrol and there are many people need to be aware of State of Mind because many of God's children are suffering with being bipolar disorder and have killed theirs else not knowing there is help out there. Robert Williams took his own life this makes me so SAD must I go on and on about depression anxiety and bipolar State of Mind has brought on many people who are suffering it and now are getting it out God bless State of Mind it is saving lives yet we need it to be like AA or NA or ALonon these programs have saved many lives. Prayer Thank You God
I love that he's a General Hospital fan for 40 years and a Sonny fan. He is a natural actor. I am not into any sports so I only know him from GH and seeing him on The View.

I'm a dedicated fan and follower of you Maurice, I was diagnosed with Depression & Anxiety many years ago, It's a constant struggle just to get through a typical day.. Maurice and Stephen together is so natural, the way you two converse is absolutely phenomenal. It is just like Sonny and Brick on GH, I just love the way you trust Brick and he always come through. I am a new viewer of State of Mind and I am so thankful I came across your show while surfing TH-cam. I have loved you as Sonny from the time my dear mother introduced me to GH so many many years ago, and now I love Maurice Bernard for all you do I had to take a break for awhile because of work but I found my way back and I am here to stay, but getting back to State of Mind, you are a God sent. Wow!! Great interview. I just watched Maurice Benard in the Tamron Hall show this morning and he mention that he had this show on TH-cam. Please know that I have subscribed to your show. I watched General Hospital since the late 70’s-early 80’s and remember when the character Sonny Carintos joined the cast, so I’ve been a fan . I also remember Maurice Benard started being a spokesperson for Bipolar Disorder when there was no social media, and it was not largely understood. I respected him immensely for it too. Fast forward to 2023 and here We are. I didn’t know you were such good friends with these powerhouse greats. Thank you

He’s a busy actor, but I always thought he was underutilized as a character on GH that there should’ve been more of him and more of a storyline but as they say it is what it is. He is a fantastic wonderful man just as you are Maurice.

I don't follow ESPN--wow, I had no idea what Stephen did outside of acting. Seriously, he is so accomplished. What a conversation, and I love Brick as a character--he's so honest, and real in his performance.
