Great vid. I was there last year. Other cities in the U.S. have old historic river docks. However many end up dilapidated or vacant or abandoned looking. It’s good to see New York doing something nice and preventing that.
The docks eventually became too small for today's large cargo ships and so they were abandoned. There is not enough space. Most cargo comes via New Jersey. My brother in law is a long shoreman that works on the Jersey waterfronts.
Very nice plantings. But the lack of benches (especially on the upward climb) makes it a quite unfriendly place for seniors and limited-mobility people. Outside of the eating area and the ampitheater, there don't seem to be very many places at all where you can sit down. Also: no rest rooms? Unless that place at 24:55 was rest rooms? Maybe. And the eating area seems to be the only place where there are trash bins, as well.
There are rest rooms in the facility. I agree the lack of benches is a valid criticism in Manhattan. There’s actually discussions on that particular topic.
Yes there are restrooms on the bottom floor. I agree, some senior citizens might have a difficult time traversing the park. The park is clean and maintained well though.

Thanks for nice tour 😊
Thanks for the tour
Glad you enjoyed it.
Loved it Antonio. You are a true NY icon. Love your videos.
I appreciate your kind words, thank you.
This is a good date option ;)
I totally agree. But it depends. Some people don’t like walking and exploring the city. I’m like the only person in my family that like city walks
This was a great tour. Love seeing the places you go to. Cheers, Antonio! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Happy to hear you are enjoying the tours. Cheers Dwayne!
