Is it just me or is this just super sad to anyone else? To see Dawson going to all the places they shot their music videos but now he's all by himself. Then the line from Melody at the end that says "I'd do anything to get you back." So sad.
AR TheFlame I doubt Melody had anything to do with the old band members, since it was written before they left. Though I will say it was weird to see him as the only person in the Melody music video.
Austin Random I meant at the time that Melody was written. When it was written, all the old members were still in the band. So no the song wasn't written about them, but now that they're gone, it can apply to the situation.

I remember playing a show with these guys a long time ago, in St Louis. They were all so cool and had such amazing stage presence. Watching this video makes me sad af

He's gone full Schuyler Croom and it really looks like he's putting more emotion into this. Honestly, no longer having your two brothers and childhood best friend in the band is probably kind of lonely.

Matt The Man the rest of the original band members decided to leave the band a few years ago. No official word on why; my guess is the new guys (and Dawson) spent the last few years quietly building their own band dynamic before announcing the new lineup/album.

I read that his brother married or wanted have that kind of life? And also, along the rest of the band, got tired of touring and that kind of stuff, but who knows! Obviously they get along because his brother is still colaborating with him.

I was upset when the original Ongoing Concept broke up, but I guess now the brothers and TJ are doing what they want. TJ and Parker formed a new band called Mulligan. Kyle is studying to be a math teacher. And I guess I don't hate this video.
