This vegan unagi made from homegrown arrowhead and lotus root is absolutely delicious and super drool-worthy!
Simple and easy to follow vegan unagi recipe:
Ingredients 材料:
^ Arrowhead 慈菇/芽菇
* Lotus root 蓮藕
Firm Tofu 硬豆腐/干豆腐
Rice flour (黏米粉)
* If you can't get arrowhead or lotus root, you can always use potatoes or yam to replace them.
Teriyaki sauce (照烧酱):
Vegan dashi broth (kombu + mushroom + water) 昆布高湯
Soy sauce 醬油
Brown Sugar 褐糖

i tried to make this yesterday, but i dont have arrowhead, i use potato to replace it. It turned out very tasty too. The texture is almost same like fish!!.🤪🥰
