No it doesn't. This is mess free and you can just wipe it off with a dry cloth. And this does not rub against your skin like normal razors so no bumps, cuts or acne

These are useless, initially will work fine but with time hair will collect in the upper head part of trimmer. To clean it you have to completely remove head part that leads to damage. Use a branded trimmer rather than these online products. Your money gets waisted after 2/3 months
