Sharing how I color Clock Tower from Romantic Country by Eriy . As always I was using Prismacolor Premier 150 set pencils. I choose:
Clouds: 1023, 938, 1024, 1025
Sky: 906, 208
Trees (green): 109, 908, 935
Trees (orange): 1003, 1033, 1032, 1090, 1097, 935
Houses: 1085, 1093, 1080, 988, 935, 1088, 936, 140, 941, 1099

Beautiful work ☺ I love the illustrations in this book but I think the paper is terrible for my polychromos so I almost never color in it. 😢
Hi Margret :) Don't be sad :) In the past I used Polychromos to color pages from Romantic Country, and as I remember it was really hard work, but after all colors were more vivid than prismacolor suprisignly :) Best regards DK
I just received the first two books of Romantic Country and started right away following this video. I am using Staedtlar Luna Watercolour pencils (48). Will cost me over 14 thousand Indian rupees to get a full set of Faber Castell Polychromos. Maybe I should settle for the Derwent set (72).

Gosh,with this video I'll learn how to paint decently 😅 no jokes,I mean it 😊 I have the materials but still can't make it look realistic because I don't have a good technical painting skill😣😣 but these videos can give me good ideas 😊😊😊

LaMesha Hale Yes, there are three dots in the upper right hand corner of screen. Click on it and you will one of the options being playback speed. I slowed it to the slowest and the person who commented on "impressionist " is right. This is the first time viewing, it doesn't seem the coloring is conventional which is another technique that learn.
Can you please explain your coloring technique? Are you using the pencil as a brush?
Hello Maria :) Well my coloring technique is basicaly going from the lightest to the darkest colors from my palette :) Hehe, well I'm also painting but I'm trying to hold pencils in my heand in the way that You all could see what exacly I'm doing ;) If You have more questions Maria, dont hesitate to ask :*

Hi Judy :) Yes, because I do all coloring page not just some elements so I have to speed it up. You can slow it down in the settings (bottom right of the video): choose speed 0.25 and it runs 4x slower. (Turn of the sound ;) )
