I am a f2p player and honestly for a free game, the combat is awesome, but the game can't survive without events and daily missions to get world silver. They have to fix this.
All we needed were: daily quest, some form of group/clan competition and events. Honestly? The hard stuff they have already accomplished. Also, they called the AS limited banner an Event.
The dev team actually contacted a top 200 player and said they will take in suggestions if you email them on the main site. Don't know if they will really listen at this point.
I absolutely love this game and I'm at end game. I'm surprised they didn't have an event with Atomic's release. They just need to give a reason to have more than the four characters at this point.
Their greed and lack of commitment with the game is not gonna let them get too far in terms of financial achievements, because there's is almost no content to do, no events, world silver is hard as F to get and save, so it's not a surprise that players are dropping like flies!

I will spend on this game if the devs listen to the commmunity and implement some wanted changes: 1. earnable daily world silver 2. special events to earn silver/resources 3. pity carry over 4. lower the real money prices 5. PVP mode 6. co-op modes/raids 7. more tough bosses like the current 3 8. more story mode content 9. more side quests/general content 10. faster limited character releases These 10 changes could really save this game

This game has very big defaults and i don't want to spend on it.The merit system is tedious , SSR rate 0.3 is horrible and the price is too expensive now i use all my silver for upgrade of my merit or the permanent banner because i don't think i will get lucky and there is no carry over for how many pull you have done on the temporary banner
Man they needed an EVENT with this release! I was surprised they skipped an event for Tatsumaki given she's arguably more hype than Atomic Samurai but when they didn't release anything else with him, I was shocked. Event boss, event world quest, event daily missions for silver or even GOLD, event MINIGAMES in the arcade like come onnn so much potential wasted 🤦🏽♂️
I like this game a lot. I really hope the devs do a revamp on all the rewards in the game and give more events with it. Even though I don’t spend on the game revamp the shop and make the prices lower on everything.
Man, this game had major potential, the second they screwed their players with the Starter Banner and the fact that pity doesn't carry over from banner to banner. Major set backs to players further establishing that they only reward spenders. Sure the pity is only 60 but the rate at which you get world silver is barely enough to hit pity ONE time per banner, literally having to skip entire banners in order to save up enough to do 120 pulls for a unit. I lost pity on AS banner so I ended up spending about $50 to go to pity once more, I most certainly don't plan on spending again since I don't see a bright future for this game.
those estimates do not account for sales on PC too. Not all of those games on there are released on both PC and mobile. For example, I maxed out my tatsumaki and I only play on PC and use their 3rd party payment because it is cheaper than the playstore. I know others that do the same. Their purchases are not part of the estimates that Sensor Tower releases.

Even if that is true, OPM is huge Anime IP, so I assume the amount they pay for licensing is huge than half of the original IP and game revenue drops off unless its the big boy like Genshin or HSR or Dokkan Battle. Also keep in mind this game is way more expensive to make and prob even ran than turn-based, 2-D, or etc games.

it does seem like they didnt think past the first 3 weeks. blantant obvious example. 3 of the 4 prestige dailies are open. all 3 shops can be cleared in 1 month. they dont refresh. thats content with a very short expiration date. i love playing this game but do they really expect endgame to be clearing out the nightmares (3 stage-3's left) and chasing achievements? weekly abyssal wanderer is a joke once you clear level 6. Maelstrom is decent but likely a whale fight for the top spots (also gives miniscule rewards).
Off-topic, I wanna get your attention with this recent video. I watched your 7-day tutorial and it was very helpful. I am however still stuck on the Complimentary Collector's Cards mission! For some reason, I'm lvl 37 and still don't see the token for it in my collection. When I go to sewers, I don't see a ladder icon like everyone else. I understand that it gets unlocked by Zombieman's quest, but I don't even know if I have already completed it since I don't see it in my quests section. I have 3 days left before it is too late for my SSR pick. Any help would be appreciated! THANK YOU!!!!
I don't know who is responsible for the financial decisions for this game but i can't believe they would waste the hard work that has been clearly put into this game .. the worst thing about this game is the wasted potential
IMO It is so deserved that OPM did not do well. Crunchyroll Games needs to a wake-up call and learn how to manage a game better. I also seen people say 1.3 mil is good, but here is the thing. Games falls off, and OPM is prob way more expensive to make than like half of these game. So, imo it should be over 2.5 million at the very least on both PC and Mobile, so collectively 5M assuming anime IP licensing is really expensive and even then I would say 5M is not safe. 1.3M is not very good and if PC version makes less than that, oh boy game might already be cooked considering crunchyroll.
Gacha revenue only counts mobile revenue in its numbers. Hopefully the pc revenue helps it push to atleast 2 mil. I really hope they listen fans cause this game can easily be the next big gacha like genshin, dokkan or monster strike.
yes, it's scary. I hope the game gets through this. I still play it; it's a great game despite all the issues. I also found the game's marketing to be very weak. there weren't many people on the first day of the release. we need events and more ways to earn silver. all we can do now is wait for the next updates
If it wasn't OPM, I wouldn't have touched this game. Perfect World has only shown me that they suck as devs with ToF. I mean just looking at the farming aspect, it is a pain to get the right intel or memory. I am not really scared since I went into this game expecting PW to tank it. i'm playing from the start, lvl 75, all quests done. i got p1 silverfang, p6 genos (sr), p5 golden ball, p4 saitama (sr), p3 lilly, p1 iairon, p3 max, p2 rider, p3 smileman, p3 spring mustachio and p1 snek. yeasterday got stinger, spend all silver and vouchers for Tatsumaki. still no zombieman, no sonik and no blizzard. 100 euro for 1 SSR character - seriously!?

Yo Payne! Did they nerf SSR Genos' SSR arm? I just splited puri puri's SSR arm to buy Genos's cus I thought it was crazy good (every mode switch gives a 6% crit DMG bonus, and I had p1 so I get one instant buff). But after I bought it and activated it I realized that now it's flat 6% crit DMG boost, no more additional crit boosts. So bummed lol.
@@PayneBlade I checked again your How to Build Genos video and his arms description was like "When amplification is in effect, gain 6% crit dmg. When amplification is in effect, gain 12% crit dmg. When amplification is in effect, gain 18% crit dmg. When amplification is in effect, gain 24% crit dmg." I guess they just listed each of the bonuses after leveling up the arm in the same spot, which doesn't really make sense to me.
True story, you only forgot to add the future it could have since OPM season 3 in announced, there isnt a better advertisement then that to promote your game and make events with it and draw in (new) players. I hope they recover fast though, already spend more in this game then i would/should have, but game itself is nice and plays well
the game is amazing and fun but 1st issue is their currency and gatcha rates they are sooooo bad and waaay over priced not to mention on top of that we have to deal with stupid RNG in building wills and memory which will lead to another issue the game have a gold problem because of the stupid RNG all your gold will go in seconds without completing a character set and if you decide to pay you'll get i think 400K or 600K for 200 game paid currency which cost more than 50 real dollars which will also not be enough. and yeah the game is F2P friendly and you can complete content with SR characters but people will always want the new shiny SSR that will come if you have enough luck they also did many surveys and the least they could do is give us a feedback or a roadmap on how will they improve after hearing players concern but none of this happened and players even tho most of them were impressed by the game they won't support the game anymore. it's really a shame as this game is truly one of the most fun gatcha game out there but the greed imo overtook the developers
I really love the game but I'm nearly at the end, hope it comes an update in about one month. It's simple really, give us enough story or daily missions that quickly gather ten pulls in a few days OR at least reduce the shop prices. Also it's a really good idea to make events and banners more enjoyable. Tease some future characters etc.
Honestly gonna give it one more update before I go, I pulled atomic with SSR arms but reality hit me so fast in the fact there’s literally nothing to do… I’ll wait one more update for something new… and no not an event that will dish out 100-500 silver in hopes to shut everyone up. Honestly I had the time to grind when the game first came out and I got a lot of coins but now the grind is just way too hard for little reward and it’s not worth it. No that's a term haha. Pity means if you draw a certain amount (59 in this case) and don't get an ssr, the 60th is a guarantee. What the comment meant was in a lot of games, when a new character comes out and an old summon event is done, your summon amount carries over so you don't have to start over. In this game, that doesn't happen so each new character, the "pity" starts again from 0

hm, payne, I must just be really lucky, cause I only spent 60$ at most on game for allowance and battlepass and some draw tickets, used coins got tatsumaki and atomic samurai, so I dont think this game reached close to what I spent on others.
I blame it on greed. I love the game and spent 20 bucks myself and would spend 10 more right now, but I don't feel like paying more untill I am sure they are listening to us and changing things. If the game dies, it sucks and I will not be happy about it. But on the other hand, they deserve to learn a lesson for their greed.
Community keeps the game running but devs are the ones controlling it and when the 2 worlds do not meet...the game dies My first mobile game was and still is Marvel Strike Force...frankly the game is not easy at all...requires a lot of engagement, too much pressure on the internal currecy economy, the game economy in general is in chambles...but on the other hand the community is strong and devs are listening more than ever to the players...we actually have a player movement that meets regularely with the devs to report concerns and propose solutions and they are being heard...a lot of improvement still needs to be done but they juste improved the new player experience and try to give us content on a regular basis I played Saint Seiya LOJ, SFDuel, HSR, Omniheroes, TOG new world...and every time devs mess the license by being greedy and not listening to feedback or not finding a way to innovate and give good content There's always a way to make a good live service mobile game while still making a lot of money...the fanbase is so large and they do not seem to find a way to attract it and keep it growing

But, if theres no new content or events to farm silver…when i start playing… i get bored… absolute nothing to do if you hit your currently top achievments and abyssal… just farm lvl 15 chips… and try to push higher sr chars… thats it…

I want the game to succeed. I love the combat and uniqueness of each character. More content is needed, specially for endgame and silver making.
i'm playing from the start, lvl 75, all quests done. i got p1 silverfang, p6 genos (sr), p5 golden ball, p4 saitama (sr), p3 lilly, p1 iairon, p3 max, p2 rider, p3 smileman, p3 spring mustachio and p1 snek. yeasterday got stinger, spend all silver and vouchers for Tatsumaki. still no zombieman, no sonik and no blizzard. 100 euro for 1 SSR character - seriously!?

I love gameplay animation and stuff like stories nice game but it gets boring when you don’t get new characters to try and most of the time it’s that case because it’s hard to get new characters especially SSR
Yo Payne! Did they nerf SSR Genos' SSR arm? I just splited puri puri's SSR arm to buy Genos's cus I thought it was crazy good (every mode switch gives a 6% crit DMG bonus, and I had p1 so I get one instant buff). But after I bought it and activated it I realized that now it's flat 6% crit DMG boost, no more additional crit boosts. So bummed lol.
Hey bro I thought that was his mechanism will / memory and not his arms. I'm pretty sure his arms was always just a flat crit dmg bonus.
@@PayneBlade I checked again your How to Build Genos video and his arms description was like "When amplification is in effect, gain 6% crit dmg. When amplification is in effect, gain 12% crit dmg. When amplification is in effect, gain 18% crit dmg. When amplification is in effect, gain 24% crit dmg." I guess they just listed each of the bonuses after leveling up the arm in the same spot, which doesn't really make sense to me.

True story, you only forgot to add the future it could have since OPM season 3 in announced, there isnt a better advertisement then that to promote your game and make events with it and draw in (new) players. I hope they recover fast though, already spend more in this game then i would/should have, but game itself is nice and plays well
the game is amazing and fun but 1st issue is their currency and gatcha rates they are sooooo bad and waaay over priced not to mention on top of that we have to deal with stupid RNG in building wills and memory which will lead to another issue the game have a gold problem because of the stupid RNG all your gold will go in seconds without completing a character set and if you decide to pay you'll get i think 400K or 600K for 200 game paid currency which cost more than 50 real dollars which will also not be enough.
and yeah the game is F2P friendly and you can complete content with SR characters but people will always want the new shiny SSR that will come if you have enough luck
they also did many surveys and the least they could do is give us a feedback or a roadmap on how will they improve after hearing players concern but none of this happened and players even tho most of them were impressed by the game they won't support the game anymore.
it's really a shame as this game is truly one of the most fun gatcha game out there but the greed imo overtook the developers

I really love the game but I'm nearly at the end, hope it comes an update in about one month. It's simple really, give us enough story or daily missions that quickly gather ten pulls in a few days OR at least reduce the shop prices. Also it's a really good idea to make events and banners more enjoyable. Tease some future characters etc.
Honestly gonna give it one more update before I go, I pulled atomic with SSR arms but reality hit me so fast in the fact there’s literally nothing to do…
I’ll wait one more update for something new… and no not an event that will dish out 100-500 silver in hopes to shut everyone up. Need more content/gameplay to keep me entertained.
I honestly am scared of this game, I love opm and that’s the only reason I’m playing this cuz I never in my life played a gacha, and the combat and the graphics are phenomenal. Honestly I had the time to grind when the game first came out and I got a lot of coins but now the grind is just way too hard for little reward and it’s not worth it. I have about 12k coins saved up and I’m waiting for garou or some other cool character to release before I use them but I haven’t played in a long time
Such a promising game, but it lacks events for f2p player (I already spent above $100) to support the devs lets, just give them more time sigh but seeing how things is going, before they released this game they should have planned from the start the upcoming events but it seems they have no proper targets on what events should be released. Also there are so many cheaters on simulation and CM that is ruining the game. For now I will no longer spend for this game (Ranked 124 in Comb.Maelstrom) Waiting for solo leveling.
Yes it's understandable that such a game needed lot of money in making with such good combat visuals n all but that doesn't mean you need to make it soo much p2w that even the whales quit spending like they are forcing us to spend(well it'll take time to grind n all) but you need content in game so your whales can spend I had my doubts but now I'm sure this game is dead in 2 months I thought it'll last like 6 months even as a f2p this was such a disappointment the potential this game had was insane

No that's a term haha. Pity means if you draw a certain amount (59 in this case) and don't get an ssr, the 60th is a guarantee. What the comment meant was in a lot of games, when a new character comes out and an old summon event is done, your summon amount carries over so you don't have to start over. In this game, that doesn't happen so each new character, the "pity" starts again from 0

hm, payne, I must just be really lucky, cause I only spent 60$ at most on game for allowance and battlepass and some draw tickets, used coins got tatsumaki and atomic samurai, so I dont think this game reached close to what I spent on others.
i will also add though, the grind does kinda suck.
Oh I got them for free and haven't spent at all but there is nothing new to use them on and no real way to farm silver now

I blame it on greed. I love the game and spent 20 bucks myself and would spend 10 more right now, but I don't feel like paying more untill I am sure they are listening to us and changing things.
If the game dies, it sucks and I will not be happy about it. But on the other hand, they deserve to learn a lesson for their greed.
Community keeps the game running but devs are the ones controlling it and when the 2 worlds do not meet...the game dies
My first mobile game was and still is Marvel Strike Force...frankly the game is not easy at all...requires a lot of engagement, too much pressure on the internal currecy economy, the game economy in general is in chambles...but on the other hand the community is strong and devs are listening more than ever to the players...we actually have a player movement that meets regularely with the devs to report concerns and propose solutions and they are being heard...a lot of improvement still needs to be done but they juste improved the new player experience and try to give us content on a regular basis
I played Saint Seiya LOJ, SFDuel, HSR, Omniheroes, TOG new world...and every time devs mess the license by being greedy and not listening to feedback or not finding a way to innovate and give good content
There's always a way to make a good live service mobile game while still making a lot of money...the fanbase is so large and they do not seem to find a way to attract it and keep it growing

Im still playing and im sad because, i think like you, this game has lot of potential. The gameplay is one of the best. But, if theres no new content or events to farm silver…when i start playing… i get bored… absolute nothing to do if you hit your currently top achievments and abyssal… just farm lvl 15 chips… and try to push higher sr chars… thats it…

1st day of Atomic Samurai many players experienced getting Puri Puri Prisoner like the devs are trolling with ther players. yeah its RNG but almost everyone got Puri Puri? something's wrong.

Those numbers aren't too accurate so I wouldn't rely them. Especially when looking at the Chinese market where they never show there numbers. Plus this game looks terrible imo and after hearing the rates I'm glad I never joined the bandwagon on this one.
