Magic is not talent. It’s deception. People like magic because it allows for escaping the bitter truth in reality. True talent is real and it’s replicable.
It doesn’t matter how much they mix them, the cube is swapped by another one that is pre mixed. The talent is the sleight of hand that goes on to pull this off.
He's good, but I'm pretty sure I know how the trick starting at 12:04 is done. The conjurer has 2 regular cubes that are prearranged to the same pattern as the large cube that Simon's been told to guard (note that Simon's not given the opportunity to scramble the large cube). Then the conjurer gives Howie a regular cube (he tells Howie that he can grab either one but Howie isn't really given a fair choice). The 2rd regular (prearranged) cube he pretends to manipulate behind his back while Howie's manipulating his, but he just puts it back the way that it was. If you watch, after he retrieves Howie's cube he takes it behind his back. The 3rd regular (prearranged) cube is somehow hidden in a secret pocket somewhere behind his back before the trick begins. Somehow using sleight of hand he exchanges Howie's cube for this 3rd cube. So now he has the 2 cubes in his hand that were both prearranged with exactly the same pattern as Simon's large cube. While Howie's cube is hidden away somewhere behind his back. Easy -- if you can do the sleight of hand stuff without being noticed. :)

4:08 All cards have a corner cut beforehand. The magician shows about 8 or 9 cards, it does not matter which one is chosen, because up to 16 cut corners can be hidden in the cube pieces. When selecting the 6 of diamonds, the magician only has to remember in which of the cube pieces the corner of the selected card is hidden.
@@marksauce2383 he ripped it off in a very specific way. Same as he ripped off the piece to put in cube. His previous tricks are memorizing turn order. People solving rubic's cube blindfolded. 3:20, he is showing only 3 sides of the cube(with yellow, orange and blue centers) and the other 3 sides are still solved. So he just quickly changed the grip of the cube and showed the only 3 solved sides.
14:44 The magician shows both cubes with the face whose center is orange, as you can see they do not match. Then at 15:10 he shows two faces with orange centers that do match. In a normal cube there are no two faces with the same center color, so these cubes are prepared for the trick
The first one, at 1:19 you can see a 2x2 yellow square on one side of the cube Simon hands back, the cube he was given back didn't have that pattern on any sides, there was obviously 3 cubes in the bag.
23:44 Another example of a cube that is just a few moves away from being solved. The magician makes those movements with his hand while he shakes the cube to hide the turns he is making.
