Sigh...I remember I can buy a RC 98k Mauser for $400 and these Yugos for $200. Wasn't that long ago either. If you look hard on classified ads, forums you can pick up a Yugo for about $300 and change
@@bber45 I picked up a M48 about half a year ago, all matching in fantastic shape with a sling for 250$ at a local pawn shop. 400$ for beaters is insane.
@@scooter4849 It isn't a beater! Only a FILTHY CASUAL would consider the last produced military Mauser a beater. They were made on original Mauser tooling, given to the Yugo's a reparations after WW2.
I bought one 2 weeks ago and I just got it after it was transferred to Wisconsin. Mine was hand selected and it looks beautiful. The crest on it looks perfect, I could stare at it all day long. The stock is in good condition, the bolt in good condition. It came without a sight hood but it did come with a sling. The only negative is that the barrel was beyond dirty but after one cleaning the rifling looks good and can be shot. Overall, works like a Mauser should. I’m happy with my purchase. It’s a gem for $500. My best friend owns several guns and he said he’s jealous of my yugo m48.
A warning to all: I saw one in "turn in condition" that was ordered with the hand select option and had a plugged barrel. There is no way a Yugo Mauser in that condition is anywhere near the price this guy paid.
Guys I just got mine and I’m super mad. I paid for hand select and this thing is absolutely disgusting. Working on returning it now. I’m talking deep rust everywhere, bat shit, dirt, cracked a chunked stocks. I mean these things were sitting in a cave in Ethiopia I guess I just got my hopes up
400 for a shot-out, beat to death Yugo? Hey, times and opinions are changing, but I am not coming of age in 2020. I know better. Guess I'll keep haunting pawn shops for one of the unissued M48's that's still bound to be floating around.
Love me some quarter-sawn Carpathian Elm. (Also glad to have not heard the bogus claim of it being teak for once.) They're not quite as pretty as my M48 that was clearly factory overhauled and left in storage, but it looks like you've got some combat vets almost certainly from the trouble in the 90's. There is one thing I do want to point out, though. An actual M48A is pretty darn hard to find, most of them are actually M48Bs. The difference is that the M48A only has a stamped magazine floorplate, while the M48B has a stamped floorplate and triggerguard. Somewhat unhelpfully, Zastava never bothered to change the model mark on the receiver, so they still appear to be M48As to the untrained eye. Mostly just a detail note for the really hardcore nerds like myself, but I'm sure many of us have the book that explains this anyway.
Id love to have the book but just cant justify 178bux for it. I have an m48 pretty sure only shot it ever fired was a proof round bluing is vrry good bore is pristine
bought a m24/47 rifle from them, shipped in a box NO PACKING MATERIAL!, paid hand select, cleaned the rifle, took it to the sand pit to shoot, pulled bolt back to eject, WON'T EXTRACT OR EJECT SHELL, i was like WTF! then i realized i got RIPPED OFF! paid close to $400.00 WAY OVER PRICED! PIECE OF JUNK! im afraid to buy from classic firearms, after paying extra $20.00 u think it would have a CLEANING ROD! and HOOD SIGHT! np
@@timstanzione1741 Kinda disappointed, i just ordered one yesterday and im kicking myself for not doing more research, hopefully when mine comes in it'll be acceptable. I went for the handselect option, and hope that whats left isnt the worst of the bunch. You can buy the cleaning rod and sight hood online if its any consolidation.
Ben is getting more surplus for us! And good to see you again Jay! Surprsied you’re still able to type out “Clint is a tool” with the letters missing from your keyboard.
Be sure and make sure the safety goes off fire to upright maintenance and then on to safety. The safety lever often has a little burr/lip that prevents normal function.
Im sorry for those guns becuse its rare to find one in Balkans now and my country Serbia is disarming people so that country can rob us. They say that our stolen guns went to be destroyed, nope they went to Arzebejgan, and USA
These guys do a fill in the blank presentation. Not surprising......they are trying to sell guns. "This bunch looks great! Lets look at a few (random.....ahem...) samples. Why they are almost new under the grime! And this is a historical gun! Everyone knows you need a (fill in the blank)! No collection is complete without them! And only for.......(more than you should pay but it seems a bargain...according to them).
O.K. looking rifles, but like a lot of folks that comment here, I owned some of these guns back when they could be had in this sort of condition for right around $100-$125.00. A nice clean 80 % + blued examples with sharp wood and a not 'all shot out bore', just under $200! (with an ammo pouch and a good sling!) Or, 6.5 Carcano's $60.00 to $80.00 all day long, and all stacked like cord wood. The thing is, we are not talking all that many years ago either. Sorry ,but I don't believe that there is enough scarcity/rarity of these mil surp items to justify current (or at least these) inflated prices. There are very likely, pallet after pallet of these weapons in various South American, African, and European warehouses. Maybe come down to a more reasonable $150-$175 in this condition? Now, at that sort of price point I might be interested. So,if there are any remainders rifles that are not beat to death after the buyer feeding frenzy and you would like to sell them for a 'kinder, gentler' price, please let me know. Thanks for the vid. I do enjoy them none the less.
Matt the lack of knowledge of what you are selling is unbelievable. It might work better if you just display the item and remain quite. Bring back the big guy at least he was entertaining.

500 base price for absolute beater rifles. Glad you guys monopolized and price gouged the surplus market
I bought mine brand new un fired 200 bucks these guy are thieves
Price gouging at its finest
I’ll save you some time $400 base price on these

In ex yu places tou can get m48 for 50 euro on black market.
in Canada it is now hard to find under 600 canadian pesos.
If each rifle came with a turd on it Clint would say, "I love the character on it."
Rick Ranger it would have to be a fancy looking turd
Rick Ranger ITS A LETHAL TURD ...
THUS THE ANAL TRANSMISSION THEORY OF THE CORVID 19 ...

I got a wicked good deal on an M48 and an M24/47 pair for $500 at a fun show about a year ago

I refuse to buy without seeing ben!
Gotta love em
I bought one back when i was in high school (1986) for $54.00 Dead pawn, still have it and it still shoots good.
Good old fays
The bore is sewer pipe ?
WAY overpriced for that price u should tell what the condition the bore is of each one purchased
I saw one come through the shop recently with a plugged barrel, and that was with the "hand select" option.
Your intro music is truly nauseating i mean realy really creepy stuff please don't play it any more its giving my cat diarrhea 😂
When you die, rot, and go to hell, that song will be what you will listening to for eternity. So get right with God .

Picked mine up over 20yrs ago. All matching serial#'s. Beautiful wood too. I think elm.
Never realized what a ripoff this shit was until the pro's in the comments corrected my steering. Go to their source, buy cheaper, and better quality.

Mismatched parts, different serial numbers on breech, bolt, magazine plate
Maybe 6 moa .
Did you throw out most of this guns?

I wish 8mm Mauser ammo was cheaper.
They have Egyptian surplus for 30 cents a round...pretty cheap for that kinda round
Oh yea? Where at? I have been looking around and have not found very much.

Awesome piece of history
I bought mine in near new condition for $350
The guy parachuting had a 1911 and hit the pilot on the third shot I heard that story luckiest shot ever.
Great Deer rifle.
Man wish I could get this. Wonder how easy it would be to convert to shoot 9.3x64 brenneke
Rub some boiled linseed oil into that stock after cleaning and it’ll look great.

hey clint, what video editing software do you use??
Stan Ferriolo we use Adobe Premier. Thanks!
When you see the product they bring in is worth maybe $200 but they double the price.... you know this company has gone down the monopoly shitter.
I have a 7mm Mauser from Brazil built in 1932

Great looking, compact rifles, good caliber. Love Mausers.
Has anyone got lucky enough to get a sling, cleaning rod, and sight hood from one of these?
