Ah. I read this story over a decade ago, it made me cry then and it still has today the same effect. It's a beautiful story, and sadly ironic that when the last leaf fell it brought about someone's death, but not the one who thought they would die.
@@thegreatliterate5618 We dig. It's a Wonderful Life & A Tale of Two Cities impart the same effect. This story & Tolkien's Leaf by Niggle would make an excellent playlist
You read like reading the sport news in a newspaper.... I recomend you all to see "La Hoja Jorge Bucay", same story told with much more feelings and emotion...

Indeed. While I was reading the ending for the video I got choked up and had to go back.

I’m down with Covid and remembered this story I read on school. Simple yet beautiful.
Did you get better?
@@damiangillard7067 thanks Damian. I did. Thank you for your concern.
The plot twist hits different 🥵🥺
I really like this way of storytelling
It seems like everyone knows the future as they prepare for it.
My heart. Thank you.
he read so fast
I liked it
Yep. I like it. I don't like hearing people read to me slow because it makes me feel like a child.
Beautiful and sad at the same time
Haven’t heard this story in 30 years. 😁❤️

I cried.
@@unfortunatelyren I feel you, bro.

Englisch isn’t my native language. For me he reads very fast and insensitive.
