@@yearlongbeet2 how is this guy one of your favs if this is the only video that's up on his channel? Social blade says he has 10 uploaded videos, meaning he hid/deleted the videos previously. Have you seen any of his videos before they were unlisted?
Mitten Squad. I swear that a few weeks ago I saw the old post of him debunking the claim that he died and that he just came out of rehab and is going to be sober from now on recommended to me out of nowhere and it felt like an extremely mean prank
Reminds me of Grant from The King of Random and Thick44 from Neebs Gaming. Both channels I’d taken a short hiatus from watching, came back to a new video and found the news in the comments. Sad stuff. It’s surreal being able to still go back and hear the voices of people who we once knew, who were with us but now won’t be again. Death itself is a strange thing with the internet.
The way that Techno’s fanbase all rallied around his father after his passing always warms my heart. We could have all just wallowed in our parasocial grief, but we saw a man who’d lost his son, a son who’d barely been allowed to be a man (Alex was only 23 when he passed), and we all decided to support him, even gave him the nickname Technodad.
the fanbase practically took him in as a father figure as well, and Technoblade's family and friends proceed to uplift the community as the community uplifts them as well. its so wholesome man
Fun fact: Mojang, Minecraft's devs, put a crown on the pig on Minecraft's launcher, as well as a possible phrase "Technoblade never dies" on the game's main title screen
Don't forget that not only did Google tribute to techno, but so did Microsoft. The Minecraft Java launcher, for about 2-3 months after his death, the pig on the launcher had a crown on.
@@picklenator02 I’m not talking about before techno died, I’m talking about after. You see techno died, Minecraft launcher had crown then they removed crown in launcher update
The ending section with Techno, it reveals that he’s at this point the embodiment of “You may have killed the man, but you cannot kill the spirit/idea.” His influence was felt across so much, due to his skill, dedication, and overall care for anything he put his hands on. I’m sure when he was around, he was the greatest friend to have. And to this day, there’s still tributes to him, as he deserves. He shouldn’t be forgotten, ever.
I remember seeing the “so long nerds” video 2 years ago. I hadn’t cried like that in like 10 years. It had such an impact on me. His famous phrase “technoblade never dies” was never meant for his physical life but for his legacy that will never die. This was a great video. Would love to see more videos like this one
@@jarikooper6325July 2nd? I believe it was uploaded on June 30th. Curious bc July 2nd is my birthday and I remember sobbing just a few nights prior bc of the Techno stuff
i remember coming home from school that day, i had to go back in 50 minutes because i had more classes, i check on youtube and the first video that showed on my feed was from techno titled "so long nerds", i didn't really think much of it, but when i heard someone's voice which wasn't techno's and they said he had passed away i was in somewhat of a shock, by the time techno's dad mentioned his real name and his siblings i started to cry a bit, and by the end of the video i really broke down, especially reading that last message from techno's mom, man it was hard going back to school too, had to compose myself so i wouldn't be all sad that day
I remember i woke up when my high school called to say i graduated. I was about to go downstairs to tell my mum the exciting news when i got the notification. Watched the video and needless to say i was not a happy camper anymore for the rest of the day
“So Long Nerds” might be the only video on TH-cam I have ever fully cried on. I started watching him so long ago I don’t even remember. I watched him for so many years, from the very beginning. Nobody was more fun to watch than him.
That was me watching the self care music video from Mac Miller, literally shot inside a coffin in some brutal irony just a few months before he died. Not just because he was one of my favorite artists but because I’m also an addict. Will never forget that I was literally in rehab cut off from the world when one of the techs(rehab employee) who I’m not sure I ever exchanged words with before or after came up to me upset and asking if I had heard the news about Mac. How she even knew I was the correct person to come up to is beyond me
Watching Tom Scott's goodbye was the most sad yet happy and alive I have ever felt while watching a YT personality. I learned so many things from him and found so many places I want to go.
@@crazydragy4233 Well, after ten years of weekly uploads, having him take a break and not upload for the past seven months does make it feel that he is done. We all know that he is just taking a well deserved break but his goodbye for now video and the length of how long it has been still makes it feel like he left. Just think about a movie that a death scene made you cry or choke up. You knew the actors were perfectly fine and that it is all fake but that doesn't stop you from getting choked up at the scene.
@@Ironica82 Not gonna lie that reaction just gives me "terminally online" vibe. That's not even a long break for online creators in my experience 😆 and it's really easy to not notice a couple of months passing by if you're not checking for them daily

What makes game theory so different from everyone else is that he’s basically a father. so many kids grew up looking at him play games or theorize about them, almost made memories with him. only wholesomeness comes out of that man. when/if dantdm quits, there’s going to be the exact same response. they both raised a generation.
The techno bit about made me cry. I was at a summer camp and I came back to see “so long nerds” had been up for a day. I clicked on it thinking maybe he was taking an extended break to deal with his illness, but as soon as I saw his dad in the chair, I knew what I was about to hear. It’s a lesson to me to live my life to the fullest, because I don’t know when something could happen to me. Technoblade Never Dies!
I coincidentally had the exact same thing happen, I got back from summer camp and got all excited he posted again, and then ended up spending the next half an hour crying
I feel so indescribably sad for techno’s dad because he had to make that video and I know every video he makes, he hurts and has to relive the moment when his son was diagnosed with a rare cancer. So long techno…
@@The_whales its mainly cause we felt like we did everything right, techno was getting his treatment and the fundraise was met. and yet life still took him. it all feels so unfair. but there's not a tear shed that can do anything about it.

i remember the day the "so long nerds" video came out. it's so vivid in my mind, i don't think i've cried that hard since then. on the anniversary, i rewatch that video and it still hurts.
For Dream, what went wrong with the face reveal was probably more to do with his faked speed run controversy with the Minecraft community. It created a massive crack in his reputation and created a grumble of discontent. The face reveal was merely the catalyst that allowed for his general audience to complain rather than his face being… disappointing? (It’s usually weird for face reveals to go wrong.)
it is also just the way he seems to handle any criticism. it always ends up with him blowing a fuse in the moment and then apologizing for his actions. it is just really childish behavior. turned me off from watching Dream at all.
@@jacobwansleeben3364 oh no, you are totally correct. the way people responded to his face reveal *was* incredibly immature. I personally think this video kind of misrepresented the whole issue and why he "fell off" or lost his reputation, was less because of the face reveal and more because of the controversies he was involved in and mostly how he reacted to those. I didn't stop watching him because I hated the face reveal. he is an okay looking guy to be completely honest. I stopped watching him because he is incredibly immature and hypocritical. the face reveal had nothing to do with it for me.
@@Briar_Emberwhat if he not put his speedrun on scorelist for competition will that make him better? I genuinely entertained when his controversy start got spotted and my thoughts was "this will still good if just meant for entertainment but not for breaking record attempt". After that I simply doesn't watch him anymore due his content is just to address his controversy instead just his ussual manhunt challenge.
Dream was a competent and leader border worthy speedrunner. The issue was that aspect of the mod he used for other videos still being active even when shut up, there's a lot of videos on this already and I truthfully believe him. Not a fan of his content however I feel the face reveal was more the destruction of his Channel hen the speed run it put a target on him and a lot of vile evil people just attacked. Dude had been hated for years and when they saw a way to actually hurt him they mobbed. Idk if he could of done anything different other than not do a FR to change the outcome
with jenna, a lot of us didn’t forget what she had done, but we saw how genuine her apology was and how she wanted to better herself and we moved on from it.
exactly. jenna acknowledged her past and earnestly apologized. she had not even been seriously canceled at all, she just knew it was her duty to apologize. the difference between the reception of shane dawsons apology and jennas apology shows that it's more than just 'a quiet goodbye means that all the controversy gets forgotten', its that you can tell that jenna actually felt remorse.
@@dragonmaster3207 back in the day she participated in edgy humor. But she actually felt bad about what she said and did and left the internet to better herself.
Mattpat was a genuinely kind and caring guy and while I was already out of school and an adult when he started game theory he was like a Bill Nye or Mr Rodgers for my nephew's generation and now he gets to go and spend more time with his own family. I remember taking my nephew to meet him and my nephew gave him some FNAF sketches he made and it really looked like Matt was so excited by it that he was about to cry a bit he did it with everyone who brought him stuff like he still couldn't comprehend that so many people looked up to him even after years of being a beloved and popular TH-camr he was really humble
H started the year before i started Hih school. And when I had started on his channel, I had just started high school in a new country. I was living away from my mum, my primary parent and my dad had sent me to my grandma's because my depression was making me sick and cry all the time and he couldn't handle it. I spent most of my time at home alone. Matpat helped me get through that. For years I would set aside time to watch his videos. Then came film theory, gt live, food theory and fashion theory and I subscribed to all of them. The 1st video I didn't watch as soon as possible was his leaving video. It made me cry, but I was happy that he got to be with his family and give them the fullness of the joy he gave me. He was a good TH-camr and I'm glad he can finally focus on his family
He will no longer be involved in making the videos of the main four channels. He may be featured on them, but most of what he makes from now on will be part of a different "Fleet" of projects, separate from team Theorists.
Was literally about to say that. With two examples in this video. Techno passing away the hero he was. Then oogwgay with him just saying the n word for attention now.
That threw me off guard too, I'll admit and vent abit, it was a bit of a reality check to after Boogie's part and suddenly Techno's part came on, I was surprised, then pained cuz of the one thing I can't wrap that around my head: that he's gone, he's done everything, and he's gone now. It's sad to think, but at least we were all there to support him during the last months.
I was fully expecting a video about just matpat. Actually really cool to see all these others who also gained popularity. Big respect for the well written video, definitely took a while between editing and scripting
Minor feedback: I think the video could've used a conclusion segment at the end, which actually answers the question/statement "How a final video determines legacy". The video seemed to end out of nowhere after the Techno section.
Yeah this video is kinda soulless tbh. Like homie doesn’t seem to understand or go in depth with any of it. Like you said, he doesn’t even tie it all together at the end. It makes the video feel like it was made to make money and not like the creator actually cared about any of it whatsoever.
the heart break i had forcing myself watching MatPat retire will never leave as it will haunt me for the rest of my life…and the fact it was the day before my birthday saddens me even more. Goodbye MatPat your legacy in The Halls Of TH-cam will engrave in our hearts 😔
Technoblade was the embodiment of what it means to be a good content creator. He never let numbers get in his way or affect who he was. He was funny, told great stories, and, in the end, managed to make myself, and I can imagine many others, cry for his loss. He is and will always be dearly missed. May the heavens welcome and fear the presence of the one true servant of the Blood God whose legacy will never die.
Idk man, his potato farming numbers did change how he was. You can't tell me he was the same person before and after that war😂 But all jokes aside, techno was what youtubers should strive to be.
Not really, it was already obvious that his downfall was coming. Making use of his black friend (manlikeisaac) at the end of his videos to abuse his racism jokes already made me stopped following that man.
@@captaindogeprice850 so does his "Gaichite" edits, just plain minimum effort. He just paste the clip of his face to any sides while the other side has the clip he was "reacting" to. My man milks the cow too much that the cow begins to give him lesser amounts of benefits as he frequently milks it.
@meltedm exactly his fans said " he makes content," like dude jist makes a face infront of a video. And he was ranting about how youtube isn't monetising his content while he works so hard lol these 2 things just made me hate him
The reason techno was this impactfull was because he never broke character, even with death at the door he kept moving forward like he always did. He didnt ask for pitty, he wasnt like im so unlucky please help me. Was was still techno he'd have been the type to joke that his death would irl would be the way for his opponents to become better then him at video games...
If you're sad about matpat being gone think about it like this, instead of being the star actor of the film he is now the director, because that is exactly what happened, he's not gone like he quit, he's just gone like off camera gone, because he's behind the camera directing the videos
So many youtubers eventually grow too big for their britches, that's why when you see people who despite becoming immensely successful still remain grounded and decent. That's why Tom's and Matthew's goodbyes were so impactful for the people, they didn't see a brand or a persona behind those channels, what they saw were just regular guys doing what they loved, Matt's goodbye internet couldn't be a better example as he says it right at the start, he didn't want fanfare, edits, script, anything he just wanted a heartfelt goodbye on camera and it hits you so hard to see him barely hold back tears because he is leaving such a big legacy and a fantastic community behind.
I got chills when he said the “when you search technoblade it says: do you mean: Technoblade never dies” Long Live Technoblade in our hearts and memories ❤️❤️❤️
I grew up on matpat, he inspired my own theory creations, and my love for theatre. I'll always miss him. he left a huge legacy, and i love the new theory hosts, they will definetely live up to the legacy.
From what I’ve seen, Technodad was appreciated by the community. Sucks that Technoblade was gone, but at least the love seems to be shared amongst everyone
His dad is a wonderful guy who’s actually been kind of a rock for the community to attach to. He does some of his own content every once in a while now after being inspired by his son, and it’s pretty awesome
I'm glad that he and Tommy have uploaded a couple vids to both Tom's and Techno's channels which feature previously unused Techno footage. I'm extremely grateful to Technodad for his love of this community, and his goal of keeping his son's legacy alive.
Technodad is running an absolute masterclass on how to keep somebody’s legacy alive online after their death. The occasional uploads and little lore drops on Techno’s life. The occasional community post/social media post. He’s very good at knowing what should go on Techno’s channel and what should memorialize Techno on his own Mr. Technodad channel. The merch still available and still contributing to Sarcoma research. It’s all very tasteful and respectful of Techno’s life, and gives fans something to hold on to, while also not feeling like too much. Too many celebrities feel absolutely defiled and disrespected after death… Techno’s dad owes the community nothing, but has been an incredible gift to us all nonetheless.
I think a huge part of the negative reactions to Dream's face reveal was just the disgusting fans that overstepped boundaries. One thing I noticed is how everybody always depicted him as a skinny little twink with blonde hair in their animatics (and fanfictions). So, when it came out that he _didn't_ look like that, they all got pissed that their little idol was just some average looking guy and went ballistic on Twitter.
tbf dream looks pretty good. Not 10/10 levels but just a guy who looks average but who can look good with the right adjustments like clothes or physique.
Even if he had been that people would have been mad. Because when all you can do is imagine what the man behind the mask looks like for over a year, you build up standards that can never be met.
Just met Mat Pat as his kids go to the he school i work at and gotta say you can tell he is just a great guy was super nice when i came up to him asking for a pic and was all smiles (I was kinda fanboying lol) gonna miss his iconic theories.
I haven't cried about Techno in almost a year. My whole family were - are - huge fans. I wasn't expecting that at all when I clicked on this video. Thank you for including him. ONE OF US
I always thought Dream should have never face revealed because no matter what he looked like, he would never meet people's expectations. He could have been one of the best looking guys in the world and he still would have never lived up to what people thought he would look like.
Im just shockingly appalled that there were 24k dislikes on matpat's goodbye internet video. He just wants time to hang out with his family and give others a chance to direct a channel. The internet just resents benevolent people sometimes... anyway, this is a really good analysis on both parties so good job!
There's a browser extension add on that shows the amount of dislikes on any TH-cam video, all you need to do is go to the extension store that comes with your browser, then just type in TH-cam dislikes in the search bar and it should show a few that will allow you to see the dislikes.
Yeah dislikes were removed. This person is likely using a plugin that "restores" them by taking the average number of likes per view, and estimates dislikes using that.
Eh, don't judge too harshly, it was probably more "we hate this video had to be made, we will miss you and are angry and confused" type stuff. Not actual screw you Matpat, though sadly I'm sure there were a few hundred of those types.
I dont know why this channel is not viral, the content was so well made. The editing was amazing, the script was great, and the video itself is a great subject. It is so crazy how this much hardwork and excellent content is not noticed. I lose faith in youtube so much after seeing this hard work go unappreciated. These videos with effort and great content that dont get the attention and respect that it deserves. I honestly believe that youtube videos such as these are treasures and I am extremely lucky to have come across it. I hope that this channel will go viral because it deserves it.
Dude, I never heard about this channel, but the algorithm recommended it to me. . Things takes time. Our generation wants everything immediatly, but even "instant noodles" takes about three minutes to get ready (and this without counting the time to buy it, take it home and openning the package). . If this creator keep up with the good work, he will be rewarded. And by the way: . As this creator, there is a lot of others who also are delivering excellence in this platform. And more importantly: The ruler of this whole thing is the audience. Us creators, we must to respect the users. It is what *they* want to see and not what we want to talk about.
Even so long after Techno's death section still brought tears to my eyes I was playing on Skyblock, farming potatoes actually, and rewatching the potato war when the video was uploaded. I remember the island was open for a couple minutes before admins closed it forever so there was no possibility of it ever being greifed. Couple weeks later that account with all my original technoblade items got hacked. I miss him alot still o7 Techno
MatPat: gets a deserved, hard earned retirement. Tom Scott: takes an earned break for a little. Jenna: apologizes and kinda bullied off the platform. Frank: left TH-cam and pursues music which he actually makes it pretty big. Edp: diddled kids Oogway: complains and moans a bunch, but never really quits. Dream: showed his face Boogie: faced a lot of financial problems that forced him to leave. Techno: gone but not forgotten
Boogie lured people in with his sad backstory, and for a long time, he used it as an excuse to be a total dipsh*t. He had no intention of becoming a better person, he just wanted sympathy and clout.

Very glad you mentioned jenna marbles. I miss her every day and part of me wants her to come back, but i know she's happier now. She got married this year to Julien Solomita, who was her partner at the time of the final video's upload. A lot of her fans flocked to julien's content, and he's really great and a stand up guy too. I never really watched techoblade but the actually made me tear up. Having such an amazing personality to where you have zero haters (besides trolls) and show love to everyone. He set a bar that i dont think anyone can reach or even wants to reach. Rest in peace
Damn, I didn’t really know who technoblade was outside of hearing about his passing - what a beautiful tribute to someone you’re clearly a fan of and who seemed like such a wonderful presence on the platform.
Jenna's exit from TH-cam was heartbreaking. She didn't leave to "reflect," she left because the culture has grown so toxic and inflexible. They were digging up things that were done years and years ago, which she obviously doesn't stand by, and giving her crap for it. She wasn't having fun and she was getting yelled at for things that she has long since learned from. I hope she's doing better now.
Me before the end: Wow this is a really cool dive into youtubers endings! MatPat almost made me cry lol. Me after the video ends, through tears: *Listen here you little-*
That last video of him saying how he would choose to live as Technoblade if he had another 100 lives just broke my heart. Gone at such a young age... I never watched Technoblade, but I have heard of him and I know just how beloved he is in the Minecraft community from all of the tributes his fans have made for him. That speaks volumes of who he is to someone like me looking from the outside. Rest in peace, Technoblade. You were gone too soon.
You're going to go far. The energy and compassion that you bring to this video proves that more than anything. I think I can speak for quite a lot of people when I say: I will be waiting for more.
matpats last video really did hit me like a brick because i had watched him for so long and to find out his last video landed on my mothers birthday, damn
Oogway is the biggest example of TH-cam's hypocrisy. They terminated his partnership for reusing content, when that's specifically what SSSniperwolf does.
This video instantly made me think of Mitten Squad, one of my favorite youtubers. He had frequently mentioned his drinking in his videos but towards the end it had become more evident, and his last video uploaded was "can you beat fallout New Vegas while addicted to all Chems" followed by a series of community posts talking about being in and out of hospital before the news broke through social media that he had died from alcoholism at 27. He was a really relatable guy with a dry sense of humor and to this day nobody makes the same style of challenge playthrough videos like he does
Tecnoblade was my comfort TH-camr before he died. I watched all his videos. I watched him grow. I then watch him die. It was hard for me. I cried for weeks. I'm happy Tecnodad is continuing his legacy. I can't imagine the strength it must take to continue what his son enjoyed after he died. Tecnoblade never dies.
Right around that time it also came out that he had cheated a bunch of his Minecraft speedrunning world records and after that hired a shitty analyst to try and justify his cheated odds in his speedruns
Bro, the editing, the quality, the script, and everything in general is great. You deserve more than this. Trust me. And if you ever blow up, Remember me.
The technoblade videos hit hard. Sadly we as a community have been through it again. When just a month or so ago. Paul Harrel past away from cancer. Rest in peace paul and Alex. We miss you Sincerely your loving audience
Counter Arguments had probably one of the most graceful exits I've ever seen with a channel. He made the videos he wanted to make, never got into any shit, despite the environment online at the time being the worst I can recall it ever being, then when he didn't feel like making more content, he stopped. Hope he's doing fucking excellently.
JoCat is also someone who sadly had to stop making TH-cam. A few years ago he created a short and funny song about him likeing all kind of women, because no matter what, women are beautiful. This Video reapeart for a wider audiance on YT for whatever reason and was being watched by "alpha males" and "Womens rights" people. They saw this video as problematic. Yes, he got hate and death threads for a years old video from two complete opposite communitys. This sadly made him leave YT and Streaming.

The production quality is INSANE from a channel coming seemingly out of nowhere. And this is your first video? You nailed the algorithm then buddy Would love to see you grow✨
It really makes you start to wonder. Who are these people behind these channels, why do they seemingly nail the algorithm from the first video. Why are they often so anonymous and not clear if it’s a person or a business behind the channel. Some of them absolutely have to have sketchy intentions or backstories but we may never find out
Jenna's departure from TH-cam is the biggest blow to me. The person showed huge development from what she was making before and continually be unproblematic ever since. She accepted her mistakes and evolved from it, but there are just a lot of online vocal people who just can't let go of the past and are just there to drag people down for their self gratification.
A year and a half later and I still cry whenever I see the video “so long nerds” it appeared on my notifications, but I was making my bed, so I ignored it, but after I finished my chores I received another notification, from a channel about internet news, the Title being “Goodbye Technoblade”, I immediately went to his channel to see the video, and I was just, left heartbroken, just as many other fans, but I could not imagine how the people that were actually friends with him feel...
I'm not a Dream fan but, as someone on the outside looking in, the whole face reveal drama made absolutely no sense to me. There was nothing wrong with how he looked yet so many jokes were made based on his appearance. I just really do not get it.
I don't think it was his face reveal that did him in. This was also around the same time he got revealed as a racist groomer, and also got exposed for blackmailing his circle of "friends" Edit: O.k. guys I get it, his grooming allegations weren't substantial, but that doesn't change the fact that they attributed to his downfall.
His brand was the anonymity... 😂... He f up... Fans enjoyed speculating on he could be, but did not really care who he was... I could have told him that, how the hell did he not know face reveal is shiii for his brand? 😂😂😂
Dude. It's rare for me to actually shed a tear, but Techno's death is one of those moments. It's been almost 3 years and I'm still affected. DAMMIT I MISS HIS CONTENT SO MUCH!!! Rest in peace Technoblade. Technoblade. Never. Dies. FUCK CANCER
Having the best birthday in my life and being so high up on the positivity gauge, I have never felt a downfall in my life so drastic. Ready to sleep after a glorious day and seeing a new techno upload got me so exited! Only for it to be the saddest day in my life. Techno to me and to many others was the hero we did not deserve but welcomed arms wide. Never have I felt the same again, having experienced peak joy and peak sadness on the same day. Truly a roller coaster of an experience. Rest in peace KING!
It is still so crazy to me that even while cancer ate away at him, Techno was such a good person that they said " My fans deserve one last video to give them closure. "- He really was one of the best TH-camrs and hands down the best Minecraft content creator.
When he said: “but what if it’s life that decides your final video?” I paused it so quickly because I knew it was going to be technoblade..you can’t discuss TH-camrs legacy’s without mentioning technoblade.. I was 2 days late to that video because I was taking a break from TH-cam since my grandfather died 3 days prior… when I saw the title and that the thumbnail was black, I knew something was wrong because they only do that when something has happened…
Another sad passing (in addition to Technoblade) was TinfoilChef. While his channel was significantly smaller than Technoblade, he had been a part of Hermitcraft, one of the biggest Minecraft communities on the internet. When he sadly passed away, the wave of grief could be felt in the following videos from every Hermitcraft member.
Technoblade section really punched me in the gut..😢 just when I thought I had gotten over it. Techno will never be forgotten. And if I had another hundred lives, I think I’d choose to watch Technoblade every time.
Man that Techno part. I had found out he had died about a day after the “so long nerds” video was posted. My main page was filled with “MR BEAST AND DREAM FINAL GOODBYES TO TECHNOBLADE” I was so confused. I had only recently started watching his videos, and I enjoyed him a lot. I decided to search it up, and I found out he had sadly passed due to cancer. It was the middle of the night. I watched his video, and cried, of course. I now still go back to watch some of his videos, just to cheer me up.
My dad had Sarcoma, he had it for longer then I remember, He passed in October. Due to it always being there I thought nothing of it, it was Techno's diagnosis that gave me a wake up call that my dad had been dying slowly this entire time, and that it was getting faster. If it wasn't for him I don't know if I would've valued and spent as much time with my dad had it not been for Techno.
I remember I was at my grandparents in North Carolina while being in there for a couple of days I discovered the news that Techo had died. I remember crying because I was hoping that he won’t die cuz his fans always say that but now it felt like I had lost someone who made me smile all the time rest in peace blood god we will always remember you
I don't think someone would be able to unite the Minecraft community like Techoblade ever again Over 2 years after he is gone, and his legacy is still going.

@@Briar_Ember Still doesn't sound as childish as how people reacted to his face-reveal.

@beagle_uah I saw the birthday one, he did, and it made me cry twice

That last one, Technoblade, having finally heard is story actually made me cry
Oogway is the biggest example of TH-cam's hypocrisy. They terminated his partnership for reusing content, when that's specifically what SSSniperwolf does.
He was one of the best in 2022 and now I hate his content
@link644 because the content got stale. Remained the same and the viewers got bored of it.
If he changed his viseos maybe it would have helped
@@Jonathan-tw4xmI feel like he wanted to, but people kept begging him to do the oogway bit.
@tjones9097 he can still do it just not often.
I think he just couldn't come up with different ideas
Id assume sssniperwolf makes more money for youtube?
This video instantly made me think of Mitten Squad, one of my favorite youtubers. He had frequently mentioned his drinking in his videos but towards the end it had become more evident, and his last video uploaded was "can you beat fallout New Vegas while addicted to all Chems" followed by a series of community posts talking about being in and out of hospital before the news broke through social media that he had died from alcoholism at 27. He was a really relatable guy with a dry sense of humor and to this day nobody makes the same style of challenge playthrough videos like he does
rip paul, absolute legend
The absolute fucking legend. Fuck addiction.
5 months late and unrelated but nice profile picture. Very good album.
Tecnoblade never dies.
just seeing the image with techno dad in a white void, it genuinely makes me cry a little bit
This man appeared out of nowhere and posted a banger video

I remember the days I used to go to my room and just binge watch techno’s vids for hours and hours endlessly😢 he was a great man…
13:11 that's such a wrong move by his fans. They kept asking for a face reveal and then bashed him when he did. What did he do wrong?
Yep.
Have that face, I reckon.
Right around that time it also came out that he had cheated a bunch of his Minecraft speedrunning world records and after that hired a shitty analyst to try and justify his cheated odds in his speedruns
Top tier video, quick, concise, and without heavy personal bias in viewing the individual like many videos. 10/10

The technoblade videos hit hard. Sadly we as a community have been through it again. When just a month or so ago. Paul Harrel past away from cancer. Rest in peace paul and Alex. We miss you
Sincerely your loving audience
I’m very sad that techno passed away he was mr.beast best friend
@ when I found out about technoblade passing I cried. He marked the end of an era.
I did not know TH-cam says “Did you mean: Technoblade never dies” when u search technoblade……I love this detail so much
Counter Arguments had probably one of the most graceful exits I've ever seen with a channel. He made the videos he wanted to make, never got into any shit, despite the environment online at the time being the worst I can recall it ever being, then when he didn't feel like making more content, he stopped. Hope he's doing fucking excellently.
This has got to be Ludwig's 2024 "I made a secret TH-cam channel to prove it's not luck" video.
When Matthew started his Chanel I was 7days old 😂, big respect for him
JoCat is also someone who sadly had to stop making TH-cam.
I swear, women’s rights activists do nothing but make life worse for women.
I don’t remember feminists being too pissed with him, I more remember the boys who got pissy that he’s a cross dresser for fun.
I miss jocat, girls was genuinely one of my favorite videos of his
He got cannibalized by the toxic community he helped to foster. No sympathy
@@stingerjohnny9951 Looks like women arent as ANGELIC as you think LOL 😂... they say women are better than men but here you see women send death threats to someone whos defending them. Go ahead and blame men only 😂
The production quality is INSANE from a channel coming seemingly out of nowhere.
And this is your first video? You nailed the algorithm then buddy
Would love to see you grow✨
It really makes you start to wonder. Who are these people behind these channels, why do they seemingly nail the algorithm from the first video. Why are they often so anonymous and not clear if it’s a person or a business behind the channel. Some of them absolutely have to have sketchy intentions or backstories but we may never find out
Damn ... didn;t expect to see techno at the end. Bro made me cry
This was also around the same time he got revealed as a racist groomer, and also got exposed for blackmailing his circle of "friends"
Edit: O.k. guys I get it, his grooming allegations weren't substantial, but that doesn't change the fact that they attributed to his downfall.
He also hyped up his face reveal several years beforehand and made up this image of a super hot model.
His brand was the anonymity... 😂... He f up... Fans enjoyed speculating on he could be, but did not really care who he was... I could have told him that, how the hell did he not know face reveal is shiii for his brand? 😂😂😂
Dream’s audience consists of people in their early-to-late teens, when hormones and unhealthy hatred are at their highest.
his whole group collapsed
0:15 matpat's video has dislikes (that's sad)
I don’t think that’s hate hate, more like hate because he’s leaving.
@ThunderHunter2019 makes sense, but still, it seems disrespectful to Me but enjoy life
@@Therealgiganoob It looks that way, it’s disrespectful. He shouldn’t receive any backlash considering how openly emotional he got.

How
I'm so sorry. 💔
I'm so sorry for your loss my dad passed away in 2021 I know your pain
😞❤️❤️❤️
I didnt want to cry at the library...but thanks to that ending i am tearing up...

17:15 its been a long time since i've heard that name. techno never dies
I don't think someone would be able to unite the Minecraft community like Techoblade ever again
Over 2 years after he is gone, and his legacy is still going.
this is the type of content id expect from a YT titan with hundreds of thousands of subs. the editing and commentary is incredible dude keep up the good work 🙏
3:39 is funny now that CaptainSparklez retired too
? Unless I missed something, not really. Just minecraft on his main channel I'm pretty sure.
He didnt retire, he's just done doing Minecraft videos on the main channel
No not really, only from the shorter edited ones on main channel
