@@joshuaholmes101I'm bigger guy so sadly most don't work for me, but the XXXL Iron Heart works, as does XXL Indigofera, but the Freenote Cloth XL are best fitting for me. All amazing stuff!
Love the new format. Been following you for years and you're the reason I bought my first pair of Iron Heart jeans, so it's great to see you at last. If they do another slubby UHF next year it will definately be on my radar.
Congrats on taking the plunge man, I’ve been on board since the beginning- didn’t expect you to look like that, not sure what I expected but there you go
Great video as always. Been watching your content for years. Feels almost like Banksy revealing himself. Wonder if Stridewise pushed you to go for it. Love the new format, keep it up.
It was nice to meet Stridewise when we both happened to be passing through London at the same time, it got me thinking, it was something I said to myself I would do at some stage!
Very nice video Devon! Love the new format too. Do have any update on the Dr. Martens Horween boots that you reviewed some time ago? Would be interesting to know your opinion on them.
Great review Devon and great new format. I struggle with iron heart shirt sizes as they seem to be inconsistent, particularly their western cut which doesn't suit my body shape.
Great new format......please stick with it. I picked up my first IH shirt this time last year and have been VV impressed. To be fair your review is the first time I have looked at their UH flannel shirts thinking they look great and being tempted.
Superb mate we actually get to see ye,yet again another superb vlog Love and peace from Ireland On a side note I found for me personally Filson shirts although cheaper quite a good alternative to this brand
Recommend the Momotaro ones if you can find them...I bought in red and black, they have a similar ombre quality. Love the Iron Hearts though, their new blue/black slubby is great.
Super video, really informative as always. Just one question - your belt? Currently looking at belts with an eye on the Samurai W001 heavy weight and the IH ‘Toshigi’, like the look of yours. Thanks, Al
I use the pen pocket part on all my shirts, holds my glasses when im not wearing them. Just need to tuck an arm down it. Oh, and good to put a face to the voice.
Lovely colourways. I have one UHF and one denim from Ironheart. I'm a little too broad in the shoulders for their shirts but they're undeniably very high quality. The UHF is XL (work) and the Denim is XXL (western). For comfort, though admittedly the construction is less good, I love my UES, which I have a size 4 (equivalent to XL). The other flannel i have isn't japanese. I picked up a second hand RRL in large a couple of years back. Lovely shirt but sleeve openings are a little narrow. Makes it different to wear a watch.
@DevonReviewer I sometimes wonder if the sizing is super consistent. Because my XXL western feels no bigger at all than my XL. It's all because of the shoulders though. A tailor once told me I have a 42 inch chest but I have the shoulders of someone with a 46 inch chest so most clothes are either bagger around the waist and stomach and fit the shoulders or tight on the shoulders and fit elsewhere. I go for the latter option because to have it fit on the shoulders makes me feel like I'm wearing a tent. Also at 6'3 and 14 and half stone, I just don't feel like i should be wearing XXXL lol
Interesting that you never ever showed your face in the videos and now your in all of them. lol. You should go through your massive collection of clothes and give us a rundown of your favorites.
I don't like the logo on the pocket and I wish Iron Heart would update their plaids to be more modern. These here look like lumberjack shirts and don't look good on urban streets. Keep the classics but offer another more modern line. For instance, a deep real indigo shadow plaid would be nice, perhaps with a smaller spread collar and one flush pocket.
Nice Devon. Been following for years. Nice to see you man.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Same yeah - missed this upload but saw the new one.
Much better format! Nice to actually see you
Thanks! Thought I would try something different!
@ I’ve got flannels by Samurai, The Flat Head and Iron Heart, UES. All great and quite different. My wife says UES is her fav
I will have to hunt down some UES, not a brand I have experienced in person!

Devon ... THERE YOU ARE! Love the new format. (For a minute when you first appeared, I thought you were a young Eric Clapton! :) )
Ha, I am glad you added *young*, always good to have you on board!
I fw the format man. Your voice always made me think you wore spectacles. It’s cool putting a name to a face
Thank you... might go for contacts now I am camera!

They are the best flannels for a reason. Nice addition to your collection.
Congrats on taking the plunge man, I’ve been on board since the beginning- didn’t expect you to look like that, not sure what I expected but there you go
Ha great to hear from you! It’s amazing what AI can do!
Great content as always! And I‘m pleased about the new format. Eclectic and entertaining. 👍🏻😊

Been following for a number of years now and the format is great, big move and keep up the good work.

yay!! so nice to see you!
Thank you!
I only got into Iron Heart because of your videos. The new format is awesome!
I am glad I got you into such a good brand, great stuff, once you have had a few items this price starts to make sense!
Very nice video Devon! Love the new format too. Do have any update on the Dr. Martens Horween boots that you reviewed some time ago? Would be interesting to know your opinion on them.
Love the new format!
Thanks!
I think the channel will grow better now you've appeared!
It will be interesting to see!
How’s the double brushed inside after washing??
Great review Devon and great new format. I struggle with iron heart shirt sizes as they seem to be inconsistent, particularly their western cut which doesn't suit my body shape.
Thank you, I am kinda in the same place, between sizes on the western... except the denim one I have which is perfect!
Much prefer this format as well. Cool flannel shirt, must get one one of these days.
Thank you! And I recommend you try these out!
Loving the new format!
Thank you!
Nice shirts. I really like the Western flannel shirts. Pretty warm here in New Zealand now so like many things it's limited per season
Even in the UK these are best reserved to Autumn and Winter!
Great new format......please stick with it. I picked up my first IH shirt this time last year and have been VV impressed. To be fair your review is the first time I have looked at their UH flannel shirts thinking they look great and being tempted.
The UH flannels are where its at! I havent handled a cloth like it, I need to try the new slubby variant!
Like the new format. It’s nice to put a face to the voice.
Thanks for watching, I am enjoying the change, it opens up some new opportunities!
Great to see your face at last
😀
The format is great. I like the variation in the point of view.
I have a Slubby, and it's awesome. I definitely recommend it.
Its on my list!
well, this is a "inside the trousers" cut. do they also have a "outside the trousers" cut?
I dont think they do, to be honest
Love the new format. Great to see you. 😁Ok
More to come!
Superb mate we actually get to see ye,yet again another superb vlog
Love and peace from Ireland

enjoyed this format---more engaging!
The man behind the curtain... good deal!
Recommend the Momotaro ones if you can find them...I bought in red and black, they have a similar ombre quality. Love the Iron Hearts though, their new blue/black slubby is great.
I do like momotaro, I havent tried their flannel....yet!
Super video, really informative as always. Just one question - your belt? Currently looking at belts with an eye on the Samurai W001 heavy weight and the IH ‘Toshigi’, like the look of yours. Thanks, Al
Hi, this is from SYH Goods, I reviewed a few months ago very pleased and a good price, check them out on Insta!
i like the red one - but currently only buying made in UK
What do you recommend for similar MIE? McNair look good?
I use the pen pocket part on all my shirts, holds my glasses when im not wearing them. Just need to tuck an arm down it. Oh, and good to put a face to the voice.
I hadnt thought of that, albeit, I wear my glasses pretty much continuously.. unless its raining!
Been watching your videos for years and you do not look like what I expected! For some reason I always imagined you as a bald middle aged man 😂
Lovely colourways. I have one UHF and one denim from Ironheart. I'm a little too broad in the shoulders for their shirts but they're undeniably very high quality. The UHF is XL (work) and the Denim is XXL (western).

Interesting that you size up for the western, I think I am in a similar place, but the fit was a bit more generous than I liked with the XL
@DevonReviewer I sometimes wonder if the sizing is super consistent. Because my XXL western feels no bigger at all than my XL. It's all because of the shoulders though. My brotha, you forgot to share bout them boots during your fits check.
Ah! good point, you dont see much of them... but they were the discontinued RW Sawmills!
Lovely shirts 👍🏻
They really are that good.. I struggled with the price initially but I really want the slubby cotton version now!
Beautiful. Shadow plaids rule!
its a good look isnt it!
Nice face
In a good way 👏
I love this
Thank you!

This is the first reveal, but I think it will continue. I think I will do some brand overviews of something from the wardrobe!

Sounds like a good idea.. they do some less lumberjackie variations but nothing quite like what you are describing
Wow he has a face
There it is!
Why did I think youd look like Hugh Fearnly Whittingstall with a curly long hair??? Why did I think youd live in a thatched roof rustic cottage??? 💀
I am sure I can make that happen.. bit of AI magic!
£315 for a shirt!
Get your hands on one... it kinda feels worth it!
