What type of oil and what was the thing you used to dispense it?

Usually, liberty synthetic oil

Totally wrong ! never oil a clock from the inside , apart from a pin prick on the pallet faces , take the movement out , dial off do the front plate then the back ! pin prick each oil sink not too much or it will run out...........

Stick to making dinosaurs in jurasic park...not a very good way to oil a clock.
